    Daniel you said that exactly right since I have been disabled never planned on it my life had been turned upside down my day-to-day worries are whether or not my utilities will get turned off or not as to opposed to being able to work and know that the more I would work the more money I would have now being disabled I cannot work I am on a fixed income and my health is declining because of constant worry if my fridge is going to be empty or if I can afford my dog medicine dog is 12 or keep my utilities on or put gas in my clunker and keep my insurance on my clunker I really truly wish I would have thought more about what could have happened the day that an accident happened to me not my fault I loved working and was finally feeling like I was getting somewhere then all of a sudden my life was turned upside down

    Great interview guys. Daniel is right, a lot of his viewers can relate with the amount of money he gambles because that is how they play. The really high rollers are fun to watch once in awhile but is unrealistic to most people.

    I think it's important to understand the probability of Bitcoin being disrupted is not 0. Huge respect for Andrei and how knowledgeable he is on the subject, but I think its super important to acknowledge that any technology can be disrupted.

    The trick to winning at slots is bet at the high end within budget roll, stop at a reasonable time, and walk away when ahead or at stop loss point, but it is completely against normal human psychology. Even I cannot control as best I should esp when I am losing… the emotional side of the brain trumps logic!!

    Great content, gentlemen! And Daniel, I’m buying your book as soon as it’s published! I fully believe acts of kindness can make a huge difference and create a ripple effect. It could be something as simple as holding a door, returning a shopping cart, or even telling someone to have a nice day with a smile. For those with the means, it could be buying a cup of coffee, a meal, paying for someone’s groceries, or helping in other ways. You may be the answer to someone’s prayers. For me, the dopamine rush is very real when I feel like I’ve helped someone or brightened their day.

    I was engaged throughout the entire conversation. I appreciate that the three different perspectives of each of you have and how you guys can be able to help me put it too real life scenarios. The only thing that I think that would be a more realistic approach is to have a person like me that doesn't have any of comforts that the three of you have earned earned. Just to be able to give it a " Average Joe" perspective. Other than that I find everything that you all three of you spoke on intriguingly useful. Thanks again.

    • @thadvocates9974
      @thadvocates9974 6 місяців тому +1

      The problem with or more why it wouldn't work with the average Joe is because we are not at the point where we can just buy a $750K house for cash.
      When you have certain financial things paid for it releases you to think about and be able to actually do other things with your money.
      This was interesting but a lot above my head because I am not in a position to not think about or worry about some every day problems or issues.

    The future will be an interesting test of your theory that better technology will make everything better. As I was listening, I began to agree with you - and then I realized that we really are just fish that are so accustomed to the water that we don't notice it at all. We know intellectually what global warming can lead to. We know what a worldwide pandemic can do. But we don't consider it when fantasizing about a theoretical future - we only imagine bigger and better versions of what we already have. So you guys that live on the Internet and computers just dream of a bigger, better AI internet based world. Personally, I think we are exactly one mild tantrum from Mother Nature away from systemic societal collapse. But if you're not a farmer, you don't worry about crop failures. If you've never lived in a world where water did NOT come out when you turned the tap, you think it ALWAYS will. Human nature. There's not gonna be any stock market or AI technology to worry about; in the thirsty, starving, disease ridden future that Mother Nature COULD give us, any time she wanted to. Remembering those really important things that neither money nor technology can buy is important, too.

    I have the same thoughts as Daniel . If I won a ton of money on the lottery just think of all the people you could help by just setting people up in their own home and a car. Like he said most of us are so worried about how we are going to keep a roof over our head or patch our car to last another month. Without those simple worries you could change soooo many lives.

    4:00 The story was, (it was over 30 years ago) a guy who worked at the gaming control board tweaked code on a slot, that would look for some amount of coins in , in a pattern after each spin, after this pattern it would trigger a jackpot. that guy is in jail now.
    14:00 games are sent to a few places, and the Nevada gaming control board for game verification, the machines are hooked up to automation tools to spin these things millions of times. its a lot, annoying process, but it keeps stuff fair

    Daniel my family isn’t wealthy. But we felt that way about three years ago. We took my Mom to Hawaii. My father had promised her when he retired, they would go to Hawaii. The satisfaction of our family going there together was such a good feeling! We stayed in a home rental all together. We visited with all of the neighbors around us and sight seeing there. The beach was just at the end of the street. My daughter and I were there everyday.
    I love to play slots. But can’t play all the time. So we go play Bingo and then play slots together. It’s very good to enjoy the family. We don’t always win, but the time together is worth it. I so enjoy your videos with your Mom. I will always watch you while you are on! Thank you!

      I know, I have pretty out there ideas. I’m not necessarily sure if they’re gonna be better in most cases but rank choice voting really does seem like a superior system the more I think about it. At least it would be nice if there was a national conversation about it where a lot of people thought deeply about what would happen if it was implemented.

      God does not control $$$- casino business does. Somebody has to pay for developing the machines and casinos to operate and provide entertainment. What does God or voodoo have to do with that??

  • @Sue672
    @Sue672 6 місяців тому

    Stock market in general grow over time- may go up and down over short periods but with gambling you will lose over time as it is programmed to do just that to pay for business and casinos, might have unnatural big wins but rare. Poker is natural law of averages of large numbers. BUT financial markets WILL grow over time, unlike gambling. You put 50,000$ in stock mkt index fund (not individual company) in 10 years while it is invested, it might go up and down but will be bigger at the end but you play that 50k in casinos over that time, you will be 0 at the end guaranteed. Gambling should be treated as entertainment, it is negative return mathematically
