Watching this video I understand that you have learned the most important lesson of all; LOVE is everything, and the one who choses love can never go wrong. I watch you every night to relax and laugh at your funny narratives while playing, I love playing and going to Vegas, but can't anymore because I have to take care of my handicapped wife, and have 2 little fur babies that just can't seem to function without me. So my escape is watching you and your mom before going to bed. My grandparents are from Lebanon, and i know how to cook. If you ever come to Tucson, I will treat you with a fine Lebanese food if you like.

You know, as me and my wife sat in our car (our home for now) we both looked at each other with tears in her eyes she just recently lost her grandfather and I just recently lost my dad the two people we had in the world taken. Thank you for telling us your journey it made me reflect on everything and our current situation no we're not on drugs my wife has never been on drugs. I was on drugs years ago I had more money than I know what to do with cuz it only did I do drugs I sold them it's kind of ironic I'm sitting in a Kia falling apart when I was a drug dealer I had an Audi on rims. Then the realization that all the people that you thought were your friends were only around because you had drugs now that I've been clean for 3 years COVID-19 took my wife's and my job. To have your mother is such a blessing and the courage it took to do everything you've done. I've come to the realization that I've done nothing worthwhile in 40 years I have nothing to be proud of, however hearing or story gives me Faith anger towards myself whatever May come thank you for sharing your story

It saddens me that some have to exploit the challenges and demons of others to try and get attention or just to down right hurt someone. NONE of us know what others are dealing with on a daily basis - some hide it really well. It took courage and strength for you to not only change your health over the course of one year - but for you to be able to stand there and tell your story - and then to upload it for thousands of people to watch. October 5, 2016 7:30am. That was the last time i put a needle in my arm. Years of self destruction and torment led to that very moment. I am happy to tell you that I now am the proud father of an 8 month old boy, husband to a loving and caring wife/best friend. Sitting at my desk right now at work feeling grateful. Glad I found your UA-cam channel. Feels good to find someone so different yet so similar. Keep up the great Work VLR!

Hi...Just recently started watching you over the last couple weeks...am kind of in the same situation you were...except insurance bumped off my medications, and now my dr isn't "in network" and had a very bad day today trying not to eat, and needing to because its the only thing that makes it feel better...going to start over tomorrow...this has truly inspired me to do better...I hope tomorrow is a better day...that is one thing..you can always start over...or start again...thank you

Hi Dan. I would say you were lucky to have had 2 years to spend with your dad having had as long as you had to have with him. But neither of us are lucky. I lost my dad at the age of 13. We had a year and a half to prepare but I was too young to understand the lasting impact that would have. The meds he was on made him irratable and I was resentful. It took several years for me to understand what I lost but I realize now it's something I needed to grow as I have. I will however never stop wishing we had more time, it helps us to realize that our time is precious and we are better people for it. Thanks for making videos and sharing with us.
