has the jubilee team spoken about continuing the virtual episodes after quarantine (whenever that is) or having a mix of these episodes? It has been awesome to see different perspectives from their homes around their world and i assume without the hindrance of a flight to LA. I also didn't know that Michael created Spectrum and the story behind it, this was really insightful!!!
Yeah like sometimes I’m in the mood for a shorter video but if I’m really interested in the topic I might wanna watch the full version, I think they should do both.
For the police episode, have you thought about making their identities anonymous somehow.... maybe that could help with casting to get more interest if the officers knew that speaking about their job wouldn’t affect their jobs in any way? I feel like I hear stories about police talking about their jobs and they get fired for saying things that they don’t agree with in the system. It’s not okay but it could be a way to get their honest opinions without outing them?
I agree. Just made a similar comment. Hopefully enough people like & comment on your comment and they see it. I think it's a worthwhile solution, for the time being, because that fear of getting fired seems like the primary reason they'd say no.
Hey! I may be one in one hundred but, I was asking myself: is it possible for me, or anyone around the world, to bring this type of social experiment’s to our reality! For example, I would love to see (or make) a version of Spectrum in my own country, Portugal. I believe that it could help breaking boundaries in our society!
I WANT UNCUT VERSIONS SOOOOO BAAAAAAAADLY!!!!! I just want more more and more content from the Spectrum episodes. If there was maybe a super quick 5 minute "clips' episode where you quickly run through prompts that weren't presented in the main video, that'd be awesome! Maybe a "behind the scenes" type of situation. Also, thinking of the Muslim episode, I would love to have more insight into certain prompts, like what Muslims think of the LGBT+ community. I would LOVE to hear more about why people think the way they do vs. hearing the highlights of certain prompts and I'd love to hear more about what causes each person in that Spectrum group to pick whichever line.
They got a LA Gangs Middle Ground episode before a Spectrum episode about Cops. This is why I believe anyone who says the police are the biggest gang in America.
Because of the way mainstream media portrays officers, most officers don't really trust or are even fans of news or media outlets. This is has gotten to some extent worse in the past few months, since as more attacks have been set forth against officers, more officers have started speaking up, but for their own safety the average officer still wouldn't participate with most media outlets. Its a shame really that one of most silent and important voices in the nation and world are unfortunately not given the mic often, and when they are, they don't trust who's holding the mic.
I totally think there is space for the uncut versions of episodes. You could even create a different youtube channel. Jubilee uncut or whatever. There are times when I personally watch some of the episodes and I feel like I need more than what is being put out. Maybe the uncut versions would do justice. 🤷🏽♀️

Hi Tina! Good question. The reason is because it’s just too expensive. But definitely something we want to explore. The virtual Spectrum’s have allowed us to talk to people in other states/cities/countries.

I feel for the police episode about different officers for spectrum coming in maybe y'all as employees should write letters to officers, that you do or do not know and see if they're willing to come in on their own free time to talk about those topics. Whether you personally give them the letter or just drop them off.

The plus size episode was the absolute worst...the prompts weren't hard hitting, NO health related question etc. Please PLEASE do it once more
