I’ve caught hundreds of Reds..but not yet on a “flypole”..maybe this year..would like to catch a Huge one! By far my favorite fish. Thanks for the ride Ben! 👍👍🎣 ps.Cool of y’all to help the stranded boat..that was a Huge move also. I’ve been helped and helped others. As you said: It’s what ya do!👌
I think you meant you “Euro nymphed” a red fish because your fly pole has guides and one of those fly string windy thingies🤣. I love redfishing! Thanks for the vid HUGE, keep’em coming!
The J16 died a horrible death in a highway accident about 2 weeks after Ben and I last fished. The current boat is genuinely the boat I've been dreaming of for 20 years, and I'm grateful and blessed that the stars aligned for me to fall into a great deal on it.
Hey Ben! I've been huge on fly fishing for a year-ish an I'm decent at casting (at least I think so lol) seen your vids on red fishing and would love to see a video on how to cast farther for us noobs that wanna get our fly's a little farther out! Really enjoy the videos bud and always stay huge man!
Thank you Ben for another fantastic video ! I know it is the beginning of August however I would like to know your layering setup/clothing selection for winter fly fishing . Thank you
Ive been waiting to get down to Florida for months now. Between Covid and moving lately, I've been pretty well tied up. I will get down there eventually and I will get to finally try out my new 8 weight.
Hey, glad you could make it to the Big Easy! But, those reds are not so easy, right? I'm going to have to hire Capt Ron for a charter trip. I have not fished the east side of the Miss yet. Tried to get to Missoula this year, but just could not make it happen. Looks like you may come back in the fall. That's a good time because the heat is off around October or November.
Ben, as always it was a blast having you in the boat. Looking forward to seeing you again this fall.
Love the longer vids!
Did you just say FISHING POLE....🤣🤣🤣
I love how you trash talk yourself while fishing. 😂😂 I do the same thing.
This video had it all. Thanks Ben and Ron!
Great video, I love Louisiana red fishing!
Awesome, gonna have to finish watching later, my legs are falling asleep

Love your videos and content. The comic relief is a great touch! Keep it brother!
C'est un grande bon temps !
Did I hear you singing break the ice from the greatest 80's BMX bike movie Rad? If so I found a little more love for you in my life.
Indeed. Nice catch.
Yep, no hesitation in walking the grass flats here in Charleston...LOL
Great vid! Love watching the fight of these fish and the arc of the rod!!

In Charleston half the time we don’t even push pole, we just use our feet
Loved fishing in St Bernard parish/Nola area. Sadly I haven't been since Katrina forced me to move.
Nice "Rad The Movie" reference at 23:35 Rad Fly Fishing. Shwing!

Tenkaraing redfish and brown trout..I’m booking a trip to Louisiana!
What hoodie are you wearing? Looks light and perfect for hot weather.
Free Fly
Everyone loves Ron...Ben...ehhh
Notes from this video:
Poling platform = saltwater ladder
Don't slam the lids
Errant pee sprinkles are ok
Be leary of brown sea trout
Herman be like, "F-you man, my name's John!"
Was there RAD lyrics in there!! If Crue fished I'd bet he'd be huge!
Yep.
16:42 feel like something is missing...
Dude you need beer sponsor !
Redfish are loud!
It's not a real fishing trip until someone shits off the boat.
The smaller reds taste the best.. by small I mean the ones the man in green get upset about
I dig it

Totally trout set that first red
I didn’t even set the hook at all. Just picked up to cast and he was on there.
@@HugeFlyFisherman That's where those Gamakatsu hooks come in handy. They're bitey.

Are you using a floating line?

HEY BEN YOU LOOK LIKE A PRETTY NORMAL SIZED FLY FISHERMAN

Did you make a Rad reference? Day two after first red?
Next week’s video is about ass sliding.
I was hoping you'd be chasing trout at the lumber yard....
Can I catch redfish with my Tenkara?
