Thanks for covering this brilliant reporting. Just back from our small town protest supporting the youth protest. Over 400 people turned out the largest the council has ever seen. No councillors were present initially, eventually three turned up. The council leader mentioned they will discuss the climate emergency and followed with we need a mixed energy economy ie business as usual. Next month we will kick this months turn out into 2nd place. It does not stop at declaring a climate emergency, we need to keep up the pressure and the momentum.

Humans have put back into the atmosphere a small fraction of the CO2 that nature has taken out. Plants are prospering because of this. The CO2 levels need to be higher.
The people I listen too are the experienced scientists who have spent much of their lives on studying and researching climate. Scientists who are honest enough to give us their truthful opinion and who have an in-depth understanding of the Earth's climate.
Most of these scientists are retired and have no further interest in gaining money. They are genuine in their expressed beliefs and want to expose the lies.
Of course they are funded for making presentations, for their accommodation, travel expenses etc. but it is a pittance compared to what the other side would pay them. (The globalist elites of the NWO who own the central banking cartel.)
There are many videos of older highly acclaimed scientists exposing the alarmists. Eg , Dr Don Easterbrook, Murry Salby, Prof Ian Plimer, Prof Bob Carter, Prof Fred Singer, Prof Freeman Dyson, Prof Patrick Michaels, Prof Garth Paltridge, Dr Richard Siegmund Lindzen, etc.
Older scientists can more easily speak their mind because they have nothing to lose w.r.t. career prospects.

I'm Amazed by these teens. They are the future and they want a future, but these giant corporations that effect the environment like fossil fuel companies will be a tough enemy to tackle. However, they are many more of them that believe in the climate Chaos compared to the greedy executives and politicians. I look forward to seeing this progress into something much bigger in the months to come.

@Freddy Krueger My dad used to be a pro boxer, and he was pretty good. He said for real guts, look at Colin Kaepernick and everybody who is willing to face the haters.
My dad doesn't hit kids, and he told me not to hit kids ever except in self-defense. A couple times, I had to, but they were okay after a few weeks because of their faces hitting into the lockers at school.
Their dad hits them supposably at home and I feel bad about it, they are Christians big time and don't know any better. I think they are some of the MAGA kids. That is really all they know, and their mom moved out.
I forgot to say if you've ever heard of Jesus, he never hit kids in the Bible or whatever.

    • @percivalsweetwater9992
      @percivalsweetwater9992 5 років тому

@Freddy Krueger I had a class in science, if you've heard of it. It's where you don't make things up, you use experiments. I looked at NASA, which is the Space Agency. That's one place to see how "Carbon" is basically climate change. There's 200 places scientists work around the world where the experiment keeps being the same results. I found all them where the NASA web site shows it all. I think some people are just afraid, or cowerds to really tell the truth instead of just church.

I do appreciate that the young are getting involved. However, I think it's not enough to protest. And the not-so-young need to be getting involved too. Those responsible for the destruction need to be called out by name and legal means need to be sought to take them down. Anyone who has taken hand in allowing global destruction should be removed from public office or corporate position and not allowed to lead again if they cannot change their ways.
People with knowledge of the law need to step up as well because that is what these criminals hide behind. Organizations need to be established to consolidate public voice and give substance and action to public grievance... they need to be organized in such a way that protects them from being infiltrated and rendered toothless. Certain rich fossil-fuel industrialists need to be gone after legally and economically and green technologies need to be raised up to supplant them. Take them down by the same means they used to exalt themselves. Get rid of corporate personhood as it is used to protect the greedy. First and foremost, the public needs to be EDUCATED.
This country needs a new focus that goes beyond the business as usual attitude we've had until now. Without that, we'll get too comfortable and return to old and bad habits.
It's not enough to slap wrists... asses need to be bitten, chewed, and spat out.
    Give 'em hell, kids!!!

I too have my doubts about how much some of these young people are doing and would like to ask what they are doing in their lives to reduce their personal carbon footprint. How do they get to school for example. Shopping habits?
However, since they are not able to vote - many are under 18 - being loud is one of the strongest weapons they have to finally wake up politicans and industry to take action. If the German government's belittling comment yesterday as they confirmed the results of resolutions of a "climate package". I shall translate: "The package is an example of what politics is. That's the difference between politics, science and impatient young people. Politics is that which is possible."
Merkel has done so little for protecting the environment during her (too) long chancellorship and wasted the opportunities that Germany, as a strong and wealthy country had.
These young people are making a noise about their futures - having one. Us older folks have had good lives on the whole and natural catastrophes were not as common as they are now, whatever climate deniers say. Floods, fires and tornadoes are normal events these days in too many places around the world.

As a woman I know I would not be happy with people putting all kinds of holes in me and then putting toxic waste into them. That just one of the reasons she is sick right now. I feel her pain. Are youths who are involved. Thank you so so very much for caring and fighting for your future. God bless everyone. Angels are watching all and can help you. Just ask them. It does one's heart good to see these young people all united in a common cause! Perhaps though they should be provided with simple uniforms and instead of each having somewhat untidy banners they should be issued with professionally- made ones. It would also be a good idea, I think, for some form of rehearsal to take place before future demonstrations to ensure cohesion and balance, without of course detracting from the essential spontaneity of the events.

A genuine comment perhaps, most comments here are from paid propagandists.

So, seriously, buy these to flip substations off-grid, 1-Mw/1300hp, fits a container, 75 replace the Russian nuclear barge.
The big deal: "50-year no-inputs warranty", 17yr R&D, Belgian: technokontrol, the RF-5000, sparkless for use with explosives.
For off-grid, grid-tied home farm, ranch: 10kw/$15k, 5kw/$8k "20-year no-inputs warranty", S.Korean: infinitysav, made to wire into power panels.
That's $750/year for 10kw of 24x7 power, the 5kw fits a pickup toolbox, is quiet, no fumes indoors, no fuels, $400/year + interest.
Magnet motors drive these, it's why they don't use fuels or inputs for DECADES, only upkeep, found doing trade studies, neodymiums are 90% full power 1000-years hence.
"Support these Companies", these are the only two I found who put in the long-term R&D to have production ready products to sell zero emissions, tiny carbon-footprint power.
We literally need billions of them, they are bleeding edge machines.

Also* *Nasratullah* * has anyone been planting indigenous trees herbs grasses ? It can turn your area around . So many desert areas are planting and storing clean water in water catchment systems for springs, floods , and rains, the animals are fed on small patches of ground , moved to another and feed again keeping packed together all day . as each day passes and animals do what animals do while breaking up the soil surface with hooves and cultivating any seeds and mulch the soil becomes more fertile and cattle return grass seeds to earth so they will grow Or you can grow small Diverse Crops on small lots created by Human and Animal the natural way . when green and roots return then it holds moisture which cools the air and traps the water which emptys into wells and aquifers …. so on so forth . check out the many videos on reversing desertification, it has many ideas depending on climate and landscape !
