These are all staged circuses for THEIR - the deep state's - agendas. There is not the slightest inkling of thought or concern about us the people. They stage all these 'protests' and disruptions so they can impose their climate change laws, carbon taxes and associated restrictions on us. THAT is the real purpose of these shenannigans. If you look hard enough, you will find advertisements here and there looking for protesters for hire. About 2 years ago, someone reported they came across ads in Craigslist wanting to hire protesters for BLM to the tune of $250-$400 per day!

@@katmiller4116 We saw a good response in a nearby town. AntiFa, BLM, and some progressive leftists showed up to protest some monuments a couple of years ago. They showed up armed and three different militias and a Veterans group turned up with more and better weapons. No shots were fired, but a few arrests were made. Drone photos later showed that a number of very well equipped men had put themselves on the rooftops of local businesses with "hunting rifles" just in case. Lots of Veterans here with long range experience, If you take my meaning.

They appear brainless and without imagination. Ruining things for others is unlikely to have those affected, stopping and asking themselves anything about what ever the cause. There is nothing wrong with highlighting a cause you believe in. There is nothing wrong with putting up posters, talking about the issue on TV and other platforms. Destroying property and stopping people making a living or enjoying a show they have paid for is not on.

There was a dealership where a bunch of activists crazy glued their hands to the floor in a showroom. 2 had Ph.D's in something related to tree hugging. Once the glue cured, that's when one of them realized nobody brought food, water or a bucket. They asked the dealership for these items and the response was turning off the lights and locking the doors when they left.

More likely they had an EV, and plugged it into a charging station, powered by a diesel generator, because a lot of EV charging points are powered by a diesel generator, the local power grid is insufficient to charge a half dozen EVs, so their electric vehicle is powered directly by the oil they want to stop, they are just too stupid to think of that.
Assuming the EV is powered by carbon-neutral electricity it takes about 100,000 miles for an internal combustion engine vehicle to catch up with the CO2 released to create an EV, so if it is not charged with carbon-neutral electricity, an EV is will in it's lifetime probably cause roughly double the emissions of CO2 that an ICE vehicle does

The whole Just Stop Oil argument seems to depend on the idea that there's too much CO2 in the atmosphere. This is in spite of the fact that CO2 levels are the lowest (virtually) that they've been in earth's history. Strange but true.

Otherwise we are pandering to un-elected bureaucrats and billionaires who according to the 2030 Great Reset want to impoverish the middle class, strip them of their assets, assign them to cubicle housing and total dependence on govt for their subsistence.
