Honestly, I think u should also tell us to write sentences with all the alphabets in it. For example:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
This sentence has all the alphabets and practicing to write this may also help improve handwriting.

Thank you! Super interesting. Do you find that you prefer pens with more drag/resistance on the page? Felt tip pens help me control my writing better, but pens like the G2 make it hard to be neat. Yet others seem to LOVE the slippery pens like the G2, so I was curious.

Mae Otila, thanks for asking. I was about to throw around some "smart ass" crap. I think any sort of lettering looks nice that's sort of regular. Which is the case here. The rest is taste and practice.

One thing that I struggle with is the spacing of my lettering on paper that is not lined. It is hard to centre the words evenly on the paper. Do you have any tips for keeping the size of the lettering and the spacing consistent?

what's the difference between calligraphy and hand lettering?
some crabby people think calligraphy is only done with pointed pen and a specific style (like Copperplate for example). BUT the definition of calligraphy is: noun, decorative handwriting or handwritten lettering. So people who say hand lettering isn't calligraphy are just jealous that their hobby (or trade) has turned into a major fad lol
Lol! I didn't know that about the definition. But yes, there are definitely a lot more lettering rules when it comes to specific types of calligraphy, but handlettering is really anything. It is essentially creating art out of your letters. It can look like how I most frequently write (brush lettering) or it can look like your everyday print!
Hand lettering is a kind of calligraphy
Calligraphy IS A FORM OF hand lettering... Traditionally using a fountain or dip pen with a nib that spreads apart with more pressure to create a combination of thin and thick stroke variations, modern calligraphy style is less formal/elegant and more a spin on contemporary cursive and print using the dramatic thin and thick stroke variation.

How do you store all of your pens? I have so many Brush pens and different pens, including the 96 tombow set, and I haven't found a good way to store and organize them. TIA! :)

Yes! I have been trying to add in lots of realtime clips into my videos, I just don't do the entire thing at realtime because this video would literally be like an hour+ long (and sort of painful to watch haha!). But I definitely have been trying to add at least a little bit of realtime lettering in! Thanks for watching!

BTW I am writing a book; but, when it's published and I give a book-signing, I'd like to use a gold brush pen. Any recommendations that I can buy in a set of gold or metallic brush pens, or gold pens that I can otherwise buy a la carte?
What brush-tip pens would you recommend for smaller calligraphic hand lettering? The Tombow pens seem like they would be great for titles; however, I also need something that I can use for blocks of text.
Yes! There are lots of options for smaller pens. Pentel Touch pens are great all around because they last a really long time, are available in stores (target) or amazon & are well loved by lots of letterers! Some lesser commonly used ones that are also really good are the zebra funwari (find on jetpens), the Kelly creates small brush pen or the tombow fudenosuke (these dry out quickly in my opinion, but lots of people like them).
