I don't know anyone on MH370, but still, thank you. Let's be honest, the odds were against you. There were just too many possibilities where the plane may have ended up. The fact that people searched for this single plane for like 4 years is just crazy.

The Helios crash 19:00 was the worst.
The pilots were dead but some passanger was still alive and tried to fly the plane but didnt know how to stop the auto-pilot and the radio was dead.

I'm not sure it was as bad as the Russian Aeroflot pilot who let his kids fly, and killed everyone on board. Even worse was they had two opportunities to recover it, yet both times someone pressed the rudder controls and sent the plane into a spin.

That plane with the German pilot who killed everyone, i saw that plane lift off in Barcelona that day. Me and my father had been away in Barcelona to watch the El Classico football match and was going back home to Sweden that day. The scary thing is that, i could have easily been on that plane. When ordering tickets, my father was looking at this plane as an alternative, but he instead decided that he rather pay more to have a direct flight home. To this day, it still in my mind how such small details could change so much.

Reminder of Flight 93. The fourth plane hijacked on the September 11th, Flight 93 was the only plane on route to strike the U.S. Capitol Building. At the beginning, the pilots disabled the autopilot as they fought the hijackers to hinder them. As the passengers realized what was going on, they revolted and stormed the cockpit. Flight 93 crashed just 20 minutes from the U.S. capital, with the final transmissions from the plane being the sounds of the hijackers struggling as the passengers breach the cockpit and attack them. Todd Beamer, one of the leaders amongst the passenger revolt, had these last words moments before the passengers revolted, "Are you guys ready? Okay-let's roll!"

After he made the final turn past his home island, the plane did not move. It's likely that he made this passover with the entire cabin depressurized, and then he took off his mask. Planes glide themselves you know, they don't just nosedive into the ground with no pilot.

Suicidal ideation and homicidal ideation are typically polar opposites though and I'm kind of surprised that so many people seem to think that if he was Suicidal he wouldn't care about taking out hundreds of others with him...which, being in the mental health field, typically doesn't happen like that.

She told us how she and her flatmates would always take that very metro to get to class at Uni everyday, but, for however reason that day they didn't have class so they just slept in, only to be waken up by the calls of their famillies, horrified by the news knowing she and her flatmates were suppossed to have taken the metro.

@@redshirt5126 What is that take? It's like your not classifying Russia as a "powerful organization" which it clearly is. It wants to protect it's land, just as Germany wants to take it. That's not evidence that the statement "If the most powerful organizations in the world wanna do something, they will f*cking do it" isn't true. That logic is like when some 10 year olds are roleplaying and one say something like *teleports behind Russia and conquers it's cities.* Clearly others powers are going to resist that action...
Additionally I'm not agreeing with him here, there are obvious limits to what powerful organizations can do outside of when they are contested by other powers. The language was almost certainly hyperbolic, and that is something everyone does when they speak.

The plane was obviously crashed by Desmond Hume.
After he ended up ship wrecked on an island during a solo race around the world, he was stuck in a experimental research station owned by the Dharma Initiative. This station was built to study electromagnetic anomalies on this island. Unfortunately, there was an incident when the station was built and they had to build a system to discharge a build up electromagnetic powers. If the build up wasn't discharged, it would grow out of control and cause global catastrophe.
One day, Desmond was unable to discharge the power quickly enough and it broke apart a plane that was flying in proximity to the island.
Oh, wait, that was a different plane. Oceanic flight 815.
There's a whole show about it. Check it out.

New Zealand prison system is too good, prisons are ment to make you never want to go back. I live here and I can't believe my tax payer money means criminals have better lives than some people in South Auckland.

I disagree with you there, I feel that prisons should be about rehabilitation, not punishment. For example, in places like the US (i think) around 60% of people end up back in prison because all they do is lock you in a cell for years on end. That doesn't help or rehabilitate anyone, imagine someone is in prison for 50-60 years, of course they won't want to go back but how are they meant to deal with all of this new stuff in society? That's where I think the rehabilitation part comes in, it's been proven that prisons which focus on rehabilitation have prisoner return rates of less than 10% The issue comes with people who will never have a chance of getting out of prison. How should we treat them? I feel we should treat them the exact same as any other prisoner, they should also go through rehabilitation programs, not because they will be released back into society, but simply so they can still know what's going on or maybe even partake in society. Basically what I'm saying is that people in prison should still be able to partake in and help society, prisoners should be allowed to spend their time getting a degree in university so they can, even if still in prison help the world at large. Of course prison labour is a violation of human rights, if it is a system to be implemented it should be optional, and prisoners provided a normal wage. Just think about how many potentially brilliant people get caught up in things that end them up in prison, think about how those people could still help society. The sad thing about prisons in general is that around 90% of people in them are there for non violent charges, mostly position and distribution of drugs, and even most of those people were caught with relatively harmless drugs like pot. Think about all these people who (in my opinion) were unjustly arrested over a plant that makes you feel funny. Think about all the good they could be doing society. Any one of these people could invent a medicine that saves millions of lives, or find a cure for cancer. Even the people who have done horrible things in life should still be given an opportunity to make up for themselves in their own way, sure they might never see outside of prison again, but don't make the rest of their lives a living nightmare, give them decent housing, let them have some freedoms. They could do so much more for society at large than what they took away from it.
Rant over, if you disagree with me on anything let me know :)
P.S sorry for the massive reply to a simple statement, I get kind of passionate abt this topic as you can see

He literally said with a Car at least you are in control, with a plane theres no control over your life, so its far more terrifying. He never said it was worse than Cars.

@@FriedrichBarb agree with him on that. I know in my mind planes are safer but lack of control is scary. Also, I've been driving for 20+ years and he's 100% correct on approaching driving like everyone else is a moron. Knock on wood, I haven't crashed into anyone yet because I always assume others are bad drivers.

All sad stuff. This world is temporary. I don't normally do this but if someone sees this and need to read it, great. Jesus Saves. Jesus reconciles us back to the God of the universe. Through his sacrifice, if we believe in him and make him the center of our life, when this life passes, we will spend eternity praising him! Romans 5:8
