New Zealand prison system is too good, prisons are ment to make you never want to go back. I live here and I can't believe my tax payer money means criminals have better lives than some people in South Auckland.
I disagree with you there, I feel that prisons should be about rehabilitation, not punishment. For example, in places like the US (i think) around 60% of people end up back in prison because all they do is lock you in a cell for years on end. That doesn't help or rehabilitate anyone, imagine someone is in prison for 50-60 years, of course they won't want to go back but how are they meant to deal with all of this new stuff in society? That's where I think the rehabilitation part comes in, it's been proven that prisons which focus on rehabilitation have prisoner return rates of less than 10% The issue comes with people who will never have a chance of getting out of prison. How should we treat them? I feel we should treat them the exact same as any other prisoner, they should also go through rehabilitation programs, not because they will be released back into society, but simply so they can still know what's going on or maybe even partake in society. Basically what I'm saying is that people in prison should still be able to partake in and help society, prisoners should be allowed to spend their time getting a degree in university so they can, even if still in prison help the world at large. Of course prison labour is a violation of human rights, if it is a system to be implemented it should be optional, and prisoners provided a normal wage. Just think about how many potentially brilliant people get caught up in things that end them up in prison, think about how those people could still help society. The sad thing about prisons in general is that around 90% of people in them are there for non violent charges, mostly position and distribution of drugs, and even most of those people were caught with relatively harmless drugs like pot. Think about all these people who (in my opinion) were unjustly arrested over a plant that makes you feel funny. Think about all the good they could be doing society. Any one of these people could invent a medicine that saves millions of lives, or find a cure for cancer. Even the people who have done horrible things in life should still be given an opportunity to make up for themselves in their own way, sure they might never see outside of prison again, but don't make the rest of their lives a living nightmare, give them decent housing, let them have some freedoms. They could do so much more for society at large than what they took away from it. Rant over, if you disagree with me on anything let me know :) P.S sorry for the massive reply to a simple statement, I get kind of passionate abt this topic as you can see

Rant over, if you disagree with me on anything let me know :)
P.S sorry for the massive reply to a simple statement, I get kind of passionate abt this topic as you can see
He cares about how many planes crash, but not cars crash.
I dont think you understood what he was saying lmao
What?
He literally said with a Car at least you are in control, with a plane theres no control over your life, so its far more terrifying. He never said it was worse than Cars.
@@FriedrichBarb agree with him on that. I know in my mind planes are safer but lack of control is scary. Also, I've been driving for 20+ years and he's 100% correct on approaching driving like everyone else is a moron. Knock on wood, I haven't crashed into anyone yet because I always assume others are bad drivers.
He never said or implied that what are you on about?
when Im gonna comment this i saw a plane just staing still in the air like 30 minutes Ago idk 2 other pepole saw it as well its weard how it was just staing there idc If u say that Im lieing i saw it and the 2 pepole who saw it were talking about it. i feel weard seeing that
I demand the editor to cut the talking out! It doubles the video just bc hes talking
And? Ite a reaction tf you expected
just watch the original video instead?
I support the idea of torture, even a form of mind breaking making them work for the things they have done.
4000th
It was 100% a pilot suicide.
Nope.
makes no sense to fly for 6 hours for suicide
@crassgop so why would he commit suicide?
@crassgop the video shows evidence that he is not suicidal
@crassgop a pilot with 36 thousand hours and a good life would commit suicide because yes, and why would he travel for another 6 hours?, enjoy the trip?

All sad stuff. This world is temporary. I don't normally do this but if someone sees this and need to read it, great. Jesus Saves. Jesus reconciles us back to the God of the universe. Through his sacrifice, if we believe in him and make him the center of our life, when this life passes, we will spend eternity praising him! Romans 5:8
