This was Tommy's worst reaction not gonna lie...it's like he doesn't care anymore.
I didn't watch the stream so I'm only guessing here but, I would guess that he was getting request after request because Oversimplified had uploaded another video. It may very well have been he didn't really care to react at that time but gave in to the pressure. If anyone that was there during the stream can either confirm or deny this was the case
He was doing Hoi4 Achievemnts, even he say sorry because of that
To be honest, Markoni edited the video really well, so in the end I don't think it's all that annoying to watch this. It was nice seeing Tommy's reaction.

I was watching this live and Tommy was constantly cutting into HOI4. Chat kept pestering him to watch this video while playing HOI4 so he was like "Okay! Okay! This is your fault if this goes badly!"

Markoni, I suggest that whenever Tommy wants to react to a big video like this that he does it outside of streaming, because this video literally makes me want to die from tommy ADHD, and I can only imagine the immense pain you had to go through editing this
To that one chatter, 1812 was a draw. Canada didn’t exist yet and the war was with the British empire, not specifically with Canada, which didn’t exists as I said. Not much changed and there were major victories on both sides (albeit the most well known American victory technically happened after the war). The Americans also burned down Canadian capitals (Canada was multiple separate colonies at the time, and they burnt down two capitals I think. York was the one I remember them burning down specifically).
It’s a minor pet peeve but as someone who studies history for a living I often see people spreading misinformation due to a popular song that gets a bunch of stuff wrong and the war not being taught very well in both Canadian and American lower education.
Yeah both countries are taught that they came out on top.

The comment was right though. The US invaded the provinces of Upper and Lower Canada in British North America. Of which the British took back and defended that territory. Therefor the British won the war.

The War of 1812 wasnt a draw. The reason for war wasn't to gain Canadian land, but to stop the British Empire from continuing imprisoning American sailors. And after the war, there wasn't any changes in the borders made in the peace treaty. The only people who think that the War of 1812 wasn't a draw are the Canadians, who are the only ones who remember it.
