The bigger history of the Gtfour than the St205 cheat, was the st185 legitimately winning the WRC Drivers' Championship in 1992, and the WRC Manufacturers' and Drivers' championships in 1993 and 1994.Some have a higher regard for the older 185 model because of its history though many find the refreshed style of the 205 to their taste.

The Mirage sells because it's cheap. It should get 15" wheels since the extra rubber would make it handle like a slot car and bring the TCO down (for a car whose whole purpose for existing is being cheap...) since anything smaller is hard to find replacements for.
Unfortunately, the GT4 Celica will probably be unobtainable for the average person. 20k for a mid 90's Toyota isn't unheard of (MK4 Supra are priced crazy) but it's hard to get a loan on something that old. I'd love to pick one up but chances are I'll end up 3S swapping my 97' Celica GT

I don't get why these have become so popular so quickly. Literally a year ago when I was looking at buying one everyone ran them down as too heavy and underpowered in comparison to rivals (hence why I got an STI). It seems everyone has just jumped on the bandwagon and now they all think it's great?!
