Nothing better than gutting a ride and going full on with the sound dampening! Excellent work!

WELL?!? What was the end result? It sure would have been nice if you had taken the pre-sound treatment Jeep out on a section of highway and taken a db meter reading. And then on the same stretch of road at the same speed, taken a post-sound treatment db reading. I'm certainly not going to burn through 10 hours of my time and several hundreds dollars to get a 2 db ambient sound reduction.

Thanks for your comment. I'm grateful you felt the need to share your thoughts, it helps me remember whom i do this work for, and why they appreciate it.

Yeah wtf 😂😂 you’d think after all the work they put into it they would want to show how well it worked. This video doesn’t even make sense😂😂

one of the most time consuming portions of a build, and yields some of the best overall results. I enjoy a properly sound treated install much more.

It just took me 18 hrs to install 70 sq feet of kilmat on my JK. Can’t wait to see the results

My brother has a newer Jeep Wrangler, I’ll have to convince him to let me install some sound treatment, it does have tons of road noise , Great video!! I like the quotes nice touch.

It just means you can't hose out the inside if you are a hard core offroader :) but that's not me...lol

Success. I can't hear the tyres rolling on a gravel road it's that dead.

Unless the roof panels has glass inserts, I would deaden the 💩 out of them. You said it right. Always clean surfaces first before any application! The doubled up panels of high density dampening is right on! Kick panels, door cavities, dash and floor. You go Craig! Damn I like this channel. Deaden the damn roof panels unless they’re glass. You can apply the deadening panels to the roof so that the latchworks are uninhibited. You’ll be sorry otherwise mate! Really wished I could help out. Sucks to be in the colonies sometimes! Oh well! You’ll be fine!👍🏻

How much money does a job like this go for?

    • @MegaRcdrifter

It costs less to do it yourself if you have time. If you bring it to a professional you better be prepared to pay for the hour pay, sound deadener price and overall the total price with tax

I did my Jeep myself and if I recall was less than $400.
