The Ryders aren't soldiers in the game. They're pathfinders/explorers. The Andromeda expedition is a private civilian venture.

Nice. They have a cool dynamic. It's good that they're working together. I mean, unlike previous games they actually interact with each other in the game, or so I would presume.
It has been confirmed that you do interact with Ryder sibling in game, some interactions are part of the story, but most of it is optional.

I think that Tom is just soft-spoken. Male!Shep was very bland even during romance scenes.

I may not have liked the endings to ME3, but the individual scenes in that game were some of Bioware's best work. Here's hoping for a return to that DA Origins/ME2 quality of party banter, because these guys seem fantastic

When I'm playing Andromeda I'm def making female Ryder, outfitting her with incendiary abilities, shooting allies with them and making her act as smart-ass as possible.

Considering his previous Voice role if you are Male Ryder at any point will he see a Hannar and say "I feel like I know what it's like to be one of them"

The game is not out yet. We don't even know these characters. So at least they could've shown us what the characters look like next to the voice actors so we could see. I see this all the time in the "behind the scenes" clips of cartoon shows or voice actors for games but not here? Just saying.
