For the people telling me how to wear my glasses - obviously I know how to wear my glasses properly lol I have them angled down my nose for filming because otherwise my filming lights were reflecting in the lenses WAY too much and would have annoyed you all and me! x
It's ridiculous people would harass you for "not wearing your glasses properly" while you can CLEARLY see the glare in the lenses, even when they're sitting lower on your nose. I loved this video, thank you for the cottonround hack! I don't have the classic nosepads on my glasses but I think it should work regardless. Such a good idea, it'll change my life for sure :P
Wonderful video, Stephanie! I LOVED the tip at the end! I’ve also been able to keep my glasses in place all day by using the smallest amount of eyeshadow primer right where my nose pads from my glasses rest and they stay FIRMLY in place all day! I hope that you or anyone else can use this trick if you don’t have the supplies on hand! ❤️
Thank you!!! I feel like no one ever talks about what it's like having to do your makeup when you wear glasses. I only got mine about a month or two ago and the struggle has been real!
Thank you for this! Not only do I discover great products from you but you give the best tutorials, tips, and tricks. Thank you for always teaching us ways to improve our look and techniques!
When I saw that this is sponsored by glassesusa I feared that this would provide the exact same content as the other sponsored videos but you didn't let me down! Loved the hack at the end and the less makeup too and wing liner tip!
Chess Static I've tried! Even my sunglasses, which sit further down, still have that happen once in a while. I just don't wear mascara with glasses most times 🤷🏻♀️
I have the same problem, even without mascara! Have you got any hacks you'd like to share? (I always say my lashes are my one redeeming beauty feature, lol)
alex maisey I’m not lucky enough to have that problem, but I do the makeup of someone who wears glasses and has ridiculously long lashes- basically, when I do her makeup, I concentrate the mascara at the base of her lashes, and stop about 1/2 way to 2/3 of the way up her lashes, also, I put mascara on the back side first (again, stopping just before the end) - so her lashes still look full and voluminous, but she doesn’t get that mascara streak on her glasses! Hope this tip helps- I’m gonna start using the cotton tip myself.
I love the hack at the end!!!!! Thank you Stephanie 🤗. I wore glasses for 38 years 🤓. I got lasix surgery a year ago and I am so happy I did. I can actually see what I'm doing when putting on my makeup and doing my hair. I am 44 however so, I need reading glasses and use sunglasses to protect my eyes. Needing glasses to see near and far, welcome to aging 😩🤓❤. Have a fabulous day!
I've noticed how much your skin has improved! I'm so happy for you and you're so beautiful. Thank you for this video because i wear glasses 70% of the time and ive needed this!! Have a wonderful day ❤❤
I've been wearing glasses since January and I haven't been able to find makeup advice that's worked for me. I have to wear them in the car and I hate when it rubs off makeup and leaves red marks. It's especially annoying if I'm going somewhere nice. I'm definitely trying this out. Thank you for these tips!
Omg Stephanie, I’ve worn glasses for most of my life and always had the issue of my makeup coming off leaving behind those sore red areas around my nose. I would reapply but it never looked right. I used your little cotton trick and I’m amazed. I’m binge watching your videos tiday, I’m sure l’ll find more lovely tricks and tips. Thank you!
This was really helpful..because my makeup always rubbed off every time i wear glasses and shades... And its annoying..thank you for sharing❤ #langefam
Hey Stephanie! Thanks for the great video and links to some great glasses! I'm wondering though, if in future, if you do another glasses video if you could do some looks with each of them with the glasses up on your nose where they should sit and straight on view? Awesome, thanks!
Thank you so much for this vid... I stopped wearing my glasses at work because I hate that it takes the makeup off my nose.... I love the eye look. Winged eyes is my thing so I love the simplicity of the shadows. You're a rockstar! Thank you 🙌😍👓
You hit the nail on the head with the comment about falsies hitting your lenses, I have a similar issue when I wear mascara... It's either uncomfortable or I end the day with black streaks on my lenses. Are there any mascaras you'd recommend for a glasses wearer?
I've only had to wear glasses for 1 year now so these tips were handy. I would usually overly powder my nose where my glasses would sit to try and stop my foundation from rubbing off but that doesn't work all that well for me so the tip of lessening the foundation is super helpful.
This video has savedddd me!!! I don't actually wear glasses, but I do wear sunglasses, and I've stopped wearing them because I can't stand those little marks you get in your makeup. I'm definitely going to try the hack at the end of the video!!
Finally 😭😭😭 I lost my sight over about 6 months and now I have quite thick lenses and they're heavy so they tend to push down into makeup on my nose. I've found a few tips about eye shadow primer etc but nothing seems to work right. Also glad to have a cruelty free guide
OMG, wonderful video. I was just prescribed glasses for nearsightedness. I have been struggling to figure out how to wear my eye makeup now. Perfect timing. Thank you so much for all your amazing videos, tips, and tricks. It is appreciated so much! Love your enthusiasm; it comes across always. BTW, I am sorry you struggle with anxiety. I did too for years; the right medication and therapy helps wonders. Wishing you the absolute best treatment for YOU! Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us; we know you don't HAVE to, but the fact that you choose too is amazing and wonderful. It is greatly appreciated!
I'm not sure if you've made a video like this, or if I just haven't found it yet, but would you consider doing a video pretty much just about your favorite foundations for your skin type? We seem to have very similar skin. I have large pores, redness, and texture, that's both dry and oily. I have the hardest time finding foundations that look good, or that at least don't exaggerate what I want to cover up... 😓😵
I JUST GOT GLASSES AND THE STRUGGLE IS REAL SO I'M SO GLAD YOU'VE DONE THIS❤ also I'm pretty sure you're far sighted :) my dad and siblings are far sighted they can't see far away or close up. me and my mom are near sighted. the only one in my family without glasses is my 6 m/o brother 😂
Damn, you know the exact frame shapes that suit your face. So flattering and can mean you can go without eye makeup on casual days and still look stylish! Thank you though for the tips as going clubbing with glasses on used to hide all of my handywork.
Steph can you do a video on cruelty free skincare you use like face wash, deodorants you use etc? I’m struggling to find stuff that is cruelty free that actually work well like anti perspirants. Xo
I love how you fangirl about your glasses being rose gold, you're so cute!! 😍 Will def. try this trick next time I wear both full makeup and glasses. Thank you!
I'm considered doing something like that cotton trick many times but I wasn't sure how best adhere it and honestly I felt too extra. Thanks for making it more accessible because a lot of times I don't wear my glasses cuz I even break out under the nose clips. Thanks Steph!
Btw, Stephanie, this has nothing to do with this video, but I’ve heard you mention in other videos that your eyebrows are thin due to over plucking in the past. I have the same issue. Then about a year ago I started using Retin A on my face and within two weeks of using it I saw new brow growth in areas that had been bald for years. I even got some regrowth in little scarred spots. So I also started applying the Retin A cream in my hair line (I had a widow’s peak kind of hairline going on) and before long I noticed a significant amount of new hair growth in my thinning areas. I only use the Retin A about twice a week because my skin is quiet sensitive so I’m going to start using castor oil on my brows and lashes on the days I don’t use Retin A. (So thanks for the castor oil advice from one of your other videos.)
I just have to add, never put Retin A on your eyelashes. That’s would not be a good idea. You’re not supposed to get it too close to your eyes but I apply it to my eyebrows without issue.
I don't wear glasses but I'm a beginner makeup artist and your tips are really amazing. Next time when I do makeup for someone who wear glasses I will definitely use those hacks❤️
Thank you lovely for this video I've worn contacts and glasses for many years I have changed my make up so many different ways and this one surely keeps me updated and fresh. Love, love, love ya! Ur beautiful doll and keep the great ideas coming🤓🤘
So useful! Everything is great but the last trick is the best!!! I will certainly try it next time! Also my glasses are blue or purple does that mean I have to stay in the nude zone?? Thanks so much for the video!! Xoxo 💖
OMG THIS IS GOING TO BE LIFE SAVING 😍 I have to wear glasses practically 24/7 so these tips will be the biggest help 👏🏻 thank you so much for sharing ☺️
Awesome!! Love your channel!! I'm definitely going to try this!! So tired of wiping makeup off of my glasses and having red dots where my nose pieces sit.
This is so helpful steph!! Thank you so much for the video! This happens to be every time I wear my shades! Also, Loving this hair color on you ❤️ You look fab girl!
Great tips! I have the problem that powder doesn’t cause it to rub off, but makes it harder to touch up the indents that classes inevitably leave no matter what. So I choose to NOT set where my glasses sit because it’s much easier to touch up those marks. May not work for everyone but just a tip I thought I’d throw out there 🤗
This is tremendously helpful! I have to wear specs all the time and have issues with makeup coming off regularly. This looks great! Plus, you look amazing in all your glasses! My favorite is the rose gold❤
This is the first time I came across your video, your tip about putting the breathable cutouts you made for the nose guards on your glasses--How has that worked out for you of after and reapplying? And did it mess up the smoothness of the nose guards considering that they are plastic and your putting eyelash glue on it and materials?
I love the less makeup tip. I've done the opposite. I usually bake extra in those areas. As long as I don't sweat, I've found baking helps. But I'm going to try less now!
I’ve worn glasses for over 10 years and I just bake extra where my glasses will touch my skin. (I use the Fenty foundation and bake.) It barely moves. My glasses will get a small amount of makeup on them, but I don’t get those red marks.
Thank you. I wear glasses and it's totally different as opposed to without and have myopia. Glasses USA is awesome, too. Glad you suggested them. I enjoy your videos and look forward to your uploads.
Thank youuuu!!! I always wear glasses along with not much makeup so I'm learning from you! I bet you already have shown this but how do you do your cat eye mascara so freakn' well?? I always get one good and one bad or just awful period.
Stephanie, just got into ur channel recently & I think ur advice is great 4 all us folk who are not good with make up.. This is great, I was just gonna ask about tips 4 all us people who wear specs..
With glasses that have those little flippy pads that sit on your nose, you can actually replace them for a different style of pad. I'm almost positive that you can get cotton ones or even get cotton pads that stick on and might be less noticable than the cotton bits. Very nice hack though, I never would have thought to do that!
Hi Stephanie! I was wondering if you could possibly do makeup looks that compliment different glasses shapes? Do certain looks look better with different shapes? For example, I have cat-eye shaped glasses in tortoise color. Would it be too much to have winged liner or do you think that would be complementary?
I really have to try this, I wear glasses all day, every day. And I have huge square geeky chunky glasses, and oily skin so my makeup rubs off at the top of my nose between my brows, down the sides, and if I smile my cheeks! It’s awful. This’ll definitely help with the majority of my issues, something new to try, thanks! 😂
hey thanks for this video. i have another small hack ... I clean the part of the glasses that touch my face with micellar water, and then wipe some setting spray onto those parts also.
Americas Best is the best and cheapest deal when in comes to walk ins, 2 pairs for $69.95, I just got the CUTEST glasses They are big and gorgeous, I get them in 2 weeks.... I'm so excited! I normally just wear contacts so this was a helpful video
I have trouble with vision far away and up close and I wear progressive lenses for it. Basically part of the lens is for up close at the bottom like readers and the middle section is normal vision and the upper part of the lens is for your distance.
For the people telling me how to wear my glasses - obviously I know how to wear my glasses properly lol I have them angled down my nose for filming because otherwise my filming lights were reflecting in the lenses WAY too much and would have annoyed you all and me! x
Stephanie Lange very helpful sexy..im trying it tmr.tq so much
It's ridiculous people would harass you for "not wearing your glasses properly" while you can CLEARLY see the glare in the lenses, even when they're sitting lower on your nose.
I loved this video, thank you for the cottonround hack! I don't have the classic nosepads on my glasses but I think it should work regardless. Such a good idea, it'll change my life for sure :P
You can always get an Anti-reflecting coating on your lenses its pretty inexpensive

Stephanie's special hack for preventing makeup removal and the dreaded 'red dots' on the nose due to wearing glasses, starts at 9:37 ! :)
thank you
Thank you!!
Thank you!!! I feel like no one ever talks about what it's like having to do your makeup when you wear glasses. I only got mine about a month or two ago and the struggle has been real!

Thank you dear Xo
Thanks so much for the tip. I wear glasses all the time and hated that my foundation always rubs off my sides of my nose. Your so beautiful.
Thank you love xo
I love this! 😍 My eyelashes are so long that if I wear mascara while wearing glasses, my lashes squeak against the lenses... It's so distracting 😂😂
alex maisey you can wear them longer away from your eyes?
Chess Static I've tried! Even my sunglasses, which sit further down, still have that happen once in a while. I just don't wear mascara with glasses most times 🤷🏻♀️

I found that curling my lashes helps, especially that mine were super straight and poking the lenses head on :)
I adore how honest you are! Its really refreshing to see you start the videos without the makeup on and actually show us how to do it

I literally had to push pause just to say you look soooo beautiful in this video!!
Steph can you do a video on cruelty free skincare you use like face wash, deodorants you use etc? I’m struggling to find stuff that is cruelty free that actually work well like anti perspirants. Xo
I love how you fangirl about your glasses being rose gold, you're so cute!! 😍

Most needed video ever.
Stephanie, just got into ur channel recently & I think ur advice is great 4 all us folk who are not good with make up..
This is great, I was just gonna ask about tips 4 all us people who wear specs..
New drinking game. Everytime Stephanie says glasses take a big swig. 😂 I really need this, especially in the weather the UK is having atm. 😥
Looking adorable with those glasses😻😻💕

Great tips! I love the video. So glad to see you are back, missed you.
I missed you guys too
Loved the hack in the last
Hi Stephanie! I was wondering if you could possibly do makeup looks that compliment different glasses shapes? Do certain looks look better with different shapes? For example, I have cat-eye shaped glasses in tortoise color. Would it be too much to have winged liner or do you think that would be complementary?
Saved my makeup glasses life with this tip! You’re the bomb!!! Thank you! What’s the difference between Reynosa and Baresi pair?
Theyre quite similar, but one has a gold frame and the other is more silvery. xx
I really have to try this, I wear glasses all day, every day. And I have huge square geeky chunky glasses, and oily skin so my makeup rubs off at the top of my nose between my brows, down the sides, and if I smile my cheeks! It’s awful. I have trouble with vision far away and up close and I wear progressive lenses for it. Basically part of the lens is for up close at the bottom like readers and the middle section is normal vision and the upper part of the lens is for your distance.
