@@grahamkitchen6650 thanks Graham, very kind of you, I have a playlist on wood, wood burners, coal etc
We have had a wood burner for about 15 years now, our sim is not to buy wood for it.
So I beg, seek and free cycle what I can.
My biggest issue being too good to burn wood😂like the loft ladder I found this week😂hope you enjoy the content I have daily themes, mainly shorts.
Please comment I love to hear from my subscribers 👍

Here in the U.S….for decades !? One pound = 2.50$…but now the pound is much closer to a dollar! !

I remember when I was younger it was closer to 4 dollars to the pound and half a dollar was the name given to our old half crown coin 🤔

Hey mate, I've got a Morso 1440 which is very similar to your (1410). The newer models (1412 and 1442) have tertiary air holes on the baffle plate which makes the stove much more efficient. Do you reckon we can buy the baffle plate for the newer models and fit it in to ours? It's kind of upgrading the stove without for a new ones. I appreciate if you check this. Im in Australia and there is no service centre for Morsi.

Hi my friend that’s a very good question.
It depends if the baffle plates for 1412 and 1442 would fit.
Next time I’m in a place that does stoves I’ll ask and let you know
      Rgds Richard

Your Video shows the absolute WRONG Method to light a Fire.
No one in the world should light a fire from below. It's always wrong and you need more wood and the fire burns for a shorter time and produces more pollutants than necessary.
The only correct way to light a fire is from top to bottom.
The thick hardwood pieces go at the bottom, then the medium-thick hard or softwood pieces go on top, and then the kindling wood goes on top.
To get the right amount of wood, you have to calculate the output of the stove plus 25%.
With a 6 kW stove you need approx. 2 kg of wood per hour of burning time because firewood contains approx. 4 kW of energy per kg of wood.
With the top-down lighting method you can achieve a burning time of around 2 - 3 hours after the first lighting. That depends on the oven and how cleverly you adjust the air.
So let's assume the oven burns for 3 hours then you put 3 x 2kg of wood in the oven when you first light it. That makes 6kg of wood which you weigh with the scale. Later you no longer need a scale and you develop a feeling for what 6kg is.
I ask everyone to use this method and no one will miss the old method.

Hi my friend never heard of that before will have to give it a try, have you per chance done a video of how you’ve done it 🧐
It sounds sensible even with a small stove like the Morso Squirrel 👍

@@everydaysabonus there are plenty of Videos about
      Top Down Method woodstove .
Your Stove ist very smal with 5kW you can try with 1.5 kg per hour burn time and Put only 3kg of Wood for the first Time and try 2h.
After 15 - 20 minutes Close the primary Air completely an Open only the secondary Air window/Air half.
The Flame need to be more yellow and a little Red thats the correct Air

@@kariesistansteckend2196 ok I’ll Google it, one small problem this stove of mine has no secondary air control that’s a different model.

@@everydaysabonus Your oven also has secondary air but it cannot be regulated.
The secondary air in your oven is the window washer and this is permanently set for you.
Then simply adjust the primary air after 15 -20 minutes so that the flame burns calmly and slightly red but does not turn completely red because otherwise it will burn too cold.
This way the wood will burn cleanly from top to bottom and the fuel will not start burning at the same time.
It rarely happens that the fire eats its way down too quickly, but you learn to prevent this over time with better stacking techniques.
I can now manage 3-4 hours with one burn in my normal inexpensive oven.
If I light my stove from below, it only burns for 45 - 80 minutes at a time and uses a lot more wood throughout the day.
