recently purchased a 2001 audi b5 1.8t that was a single owner car until i got my hands on it. Has been the best daily ive ever owned and i love so much of the car. Have plans to make it a little spicy but nothing too crazy (its gonna spit flames)
I'm there with you. Our B5 1.8t (FWD) has been with us for a year now, and it has been our must fun car to date. Have made a few upgrades (billet aluminum recirculation valve, Godpseed suspension springs, new N75 and a few other things) and I'm getting it ready for Stage 1 at the end of year ;)
@estebanjosealvarado3138 I'm up montana so I got a Quattro for the heavy winters we have here. Best awd system I've got to experience, thing was on absolute rails no matter the weather. Would love to do a downpipe and tune this summer
@Hope-ec3jv recently I've had to do some maintenance to mine but nothing too bad for a 20+ year old audi. I replaced wheel bearings which is a common failure on the b5s/b6s. Also just had to replace my CPS due to a crank no start issue but was resolved with a new sensor. Next issue I have to fix is the coolant leak coming from the waterpump, which is a timing job, but it's all part of owning these cars for the long run. The work is definitely worth what you get out of the car especially the Quattros
I’m glad you still have it. I’ve seen your vehicle over the years on YT and Audi forums. I’ve had mine for about 12 years now. Salute to you! God bless 🫡
The b5 is light car compared to audis after it. especially with sport seat optioned. Saves a bunch of weight. I have a 99 b5 sport package and sport seats it’s fun to drive even stock. Great vid amazing car
Yeah, maybe some time I'll get the sport seats for this one. Cause when I get from my RS4 B5 recaros to this one, it's like sitting on a toilet seat hehe
@@Auditography Very much worth it. they are very supportive. will say the foam is stiff but thats what makes them last longer... 180k miles on mine and the seats are amazing.
I had a 2000 reg A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro sport in black. Beautiful car. My brother wrote it off, very lucky to be alive. Miss her a lot, RS6 alloys as well, a different spoiler. Timeless design
Im so glad that people like the B5, I’ve had my fair share of b5s and i love them, each one had a soul and was so proud of what it is. As a videographer myself (not at your level 😢 ) i am thankful that you created this video and shown the angles and perks of this car that only us creative’s can view and admire. ❤
This is a beautifully shot video of your first Audi. Wishing you and your channel much more success in the coming year. On a side note I was 7 years old when you bought your A4 ha
Awesome car looks amazing, the lower grill mod gives it an updated look. I'll always love and keep my beautiful ebony quattro 1.8t sport with the garrett gt2871r. Lovely cars to own and drive. I feel like I'm the only one in Australia driving one I never see them. Everywhere I go people ask about the car, they can't believe it's 23 years old. I live in a rural place where the petrol station guy still fills the fuel for you and I always end up spending fifteen minutes talking about the car. I love my old audi and so does anyone that comes across it whether they be 70 years old or 25.
Also what offset are your 19 inch wheels? I want to replace my standard wheels on mine. They literally stick on the borderline of the gaurd/fender but I don't know what they are.
@@Auditography naah never, it has only 113.000km on it, mint condition to be honest it is not tunable at all but thats ok you know at least it sound great 🫠
My ownership history is somewhat similar to yours. I've owned an avant B5 quattro sport with MTM stage 1 since 5 months old (2001) and still have it. Six year later I bought a B5 RS4 and have done some suspension/exhaust mods to that plus stage 1 tune. I bought the sister car to my avant a couple of years ago - a sedan version of the same car. I daily that while the avant is our family car. ❤ the B5.
Fantastic she's with you since she was new. Classic shape and color with very nice extras.😃 Maybe it's just me, but I would leave tail lights more in oem style, I mean without leds.😋
Hello and congratulations. I too have a B5 1.8 t quattro and I am absolutely in love with it. I did an aesthetic preparation of the interior, exterior and rims of the S4 down to the smallest detail, pearl silver color, Bilstein Sport trim. Engine preparation with K04 turbine, oversized intercooler, oversized turbo house, N75 valve, ATP turbo exhaust manifold, BMC race cone filter, 55mm stainless steel Supersprint exhaust, cockpit pressure gauges for turbo pressure, exhaust gas temperature, air-fuel, I think I have reached 220-230 hp. I too would be interested in stage 3 that you have, can you give me the details of the turbo you mount and the eprom of the ECU with some reference to find them on the market? Thanks and Happy 2023!
Thanks for the lovely comment. Very strange that you got only 230hp from all those mods. Should have gotten at least 280 by now. BSR Sweden did my whole car over 10 years ago, and I just told them "I Want 300hp!" and this is what they did. Cheers

The petrol engines for the A4 B5 were 1.6, 1.8, 1.8T, 2.6, 2.8 - The three latter could be bought with or without quattro. Back in the days as a teenager, I just coudlnt afford a 1.8Tq one, which I regret today. But having the RS4 B5 as well saves the day hehe
