    Views are less because the whole student community is focused on getting marks. The real beauty of physics shows here. Love you guys, awesome work.

    Why why why only 578 views maybe they watch on app?...this is way too better than those explained by Indian teachers I'hv ever met .
    Please dont give up making videos for Indian learners😊

      We DO have many teachers like him in India, but it's just hard to find such on youtube as most students are just focused on marks...as a result, just oneshot and formulae videos😕
      I too watch oneshot videos, but not satisfied with most of them and at last end up learning every concept in detail even when I am having a lot of backlogs right now. Just hope that I will cover them in 1 or 2 months along with LITERALLY learning the concepts and not just Ratta Maar😂😂🤞🏼🤞🏼

    This video has forced me to comment. All of the Khan Academy India videos are really exceptional. The most helpful explanation is that you chose to measure the field point (P) distance from the charges and not from the center of the dipole like all other videos on youtube and in textbooks. I

    Sir, I have doubt regarding the way you wrote the electric field. Here the dipole is considered as the source charge and at point p we have some test charge. The electric field at point P will define by the force acting at P divided by the test charge. That means for E- we should use k(-q)/r^2) and for E+ we should use k(+q)/r^2. please clarify the doubt.

    it confuses me that on one place when you (r+d)^2 you get to assume d is negligible, but in another place, same (r+d)^2 expression, but here you get to ignore d to get r^4 in the denominator

      same doubt

    • @sapnaa6576
      @sapnaa6576 Рік тому

      Ideally we should not ignore d anywhere. But formula will get very complicated.
      But initially you must not ignore it as effective E will become 0 which is not the case

    • @salvationude-natha398
      @salvationude-natha398 11 місяців тому

      as long as you dont get zero when u approximate, that is valid. simplifying d = 0 at an early stage causes it to cancel out and the field, E becomes zero, which we know very well isnt zero. so u simplify and substitute d=0 at a convenient stage

  • @sapnaa6576

    Excellent video. But I have one doubt. Dont electric field lines go from + to - charge. So along the axis how do we say it is from - to +?
