I went for my yearly Pap smear the other day and it hurt… could that be because the speculum wasn’t lubricated?

Awww no that sucks, hope you're okay! Also could be that the speculum they used was too big. That's me speaking from my personal experience unfortunately.

When I went it hurt really bad and I got diagnosed with vaginismus , you should look into it and see if you feel like you relate to the symptoms/signs

@@jax1753 I have cerebral palsy which causes spasticity/clonus(involuntary tightening of muscles and involuntary muscle contractions) but I was thinking I may have vaginismus too- how do they test for that?

I loved the asmr side of it but my nexplanon was just a case of getting it inserted in my inner arm no iodine or numbing hurt like a ......

im actually so sorry to hear this. that needle is NOT small. they numbed my arm so well, they told me id feel a little pressure but i didnt feel anything at all. i cant imagine doing it with no numbing, that's awful
