You guys seem to LOVE the birth control procedure videos-and I LOVE to film them:)
I hope this provides a bit more clarity on the steps taken to remove a nexplanon, but please know that I added a lot of random things to enhance the ASMR experience, and that this is not a tutorial..nor accurately depicts a real office situation:)

I got my nexplanon removed last Friday and got my first depo shot. Had nexplanon for 7 years and had to make a switch. Watching this helped my anxiety and I had a very positive OBGYN experience 💛
I've had my nexplanon for years and am due to get it changed soon. The whole removal process gives me severe anxiety, every time involves crying, almost fainting and squeezing poor nurses hands (thankful for them 😅). So I'm trying to watch your nexplanon videos to desensitise myself and hopefully associate it with relaxation so it's not as bad next time! So thank you for these videos ❤
P.S don't let my review put you off nexplanon, I have a major phobia of needles/surgery (even teeny tiny minor surgery) 🙈

just had mine removed 2 days ago, i still squirm at the memory of how the tugging felt. i don’t do well with weird sensations and it was definitely weird! quick and painless though.

I don’t have a Nexplanon but a Mirena removal pending and I’m so nervous bc the insertion was painful due to the position of my uterus after twins, that’s what the Dr told me 😮💨😵💫 (I love it after tho… 😂). Great video as always!
Yooo my mirena removal was a cakewalk compared to the insertion. Hope yours is too ❤

@@Folklovermore13 In case he would be committed enough to the role to sacrifice his arm, I'd guess he would also be okay with shaving it first. You know, the way you do that to areas that get surgery 🧐

I enjoyed this video as well I had this device in my arm when it was known by a different name I was very much a little younger than I am now and I just had it removed because of bleeding problems but I do think that it's interesting to see you I know this isn't the first video that you've done I'm on removing that next supplanter putting it in but I do think it's interesting seeing that process

Getting mine in was fine it was getting the shot to numb my arm that hurt so much 😭 I'm nervous to get it removed

im really nervous abt getting nexplanon, its the only BC i can really have atp but i heard and seen other AFAB people say that its caused them to grow brain tumors so im now very off put to getting it,,
I had no pain and I not afraid of needles personally. My husband almost fainted during it though lmao. Took the doctor a bit of digging because she said my body had such a strong reaction to it that it formed a capsule around the implant so she said it was hard to grab. The scar was a little bigger than the insertion one though, this was over like 8 years ago though.

When I was walking out of my nexplanon removal I called for my mom then fainted😂 I guess watching the doctor struggle to pull it out made me queasy

My job just got rid of masks finally too!
My doctor super-glued my removal hole closed. He had to go HUNTING for that thing. He placed it too deep and I believe too close to my muscle the first time.

Hey! It's been 4 months so idk if you still need an answer but in case..
She basically explained it was overall better for her. When filming in her real office, she needs to stay at work much longer which is more tiring than if she did it home...
It's also much better for the sound of the video, Idk if you've noticed but but sometimes you can hear stuff coming from outside bc it's in a real clinic which personally I didn't mind but I guess some people didn't like that?
And a few other reasons but yea overall, she said it was better! Hope this helps!
