Great Job on the Heater Core Assembly.
Thank you!
Watching from Illinois here. Great job, very thorough on the paint prep. Like my Dad told me, do it right or do it over. Looking forward to the next segment!
Job's a good 'un! Very meticulous maintenance here. I dare say your craftsmanship is better and will be more long-lasting than the factory article!
Thank you. I probably spent too much time on it but really like working on it. I still have a long way to go but will take my time and enjoy working with the kiddo
@@MaySeizeGarage Your heater box will probably "heat" for many decades longer now that you've really done a high-quality job on it. I can't imagine hurried assembly line workers would have the time and materials to perform the job you did. Your priorities are spot on! That time you invest with the kiddo is more precious than anything. Take care. Aloha!
Buy the rebuild kit all new foam for doors ect don't be so cheap
Wow
Looks you did a great job...I probable would have used some self etching primer for the bare metal to prevent bubbling in the future, but it looks great!!!
That is a good call out.
Was looking forward to other video of 68 Charge . 11:30
You were looking forward to this video or did I promise another video and not deliver?
@@MaySeizeGarage you done great job on the heater box I glad to watch it.
Just a rule of thumb...The resistor coil for the blower speeds is made of Nicka chromium...basically like the filament in a lightbulb, or a heating element...These items should not be handled with your bare hands sine the oils on you skin can transfer to the resistor. This can cause hot spots on the resistor coil, and cause it to burn in two.
Oh... really glad to know that. Thank u for telling me
