- SHADOWING in Russian is the best way to improve your speaking.
This is a lesson from my premium Russian pronunciation course.
Speaking a foreign language is like a performance! It’s not just about grammar, it’s about feelings, emotions, and expressions. Not only WHAT you say matters but also HOW you say it. That is why the Imitation technique (aka ‘shadowing’) is so effective!

Imitating a Russian native speaker improves your pronunciation and expression faster than any other speaking practice.
How does it work? Each lesson consists of 3 steps:
1. Watch the video and read the text. You just need to understand what I am talking about. Look up some words in a dictionary if you need to. Watch as many times as you need.
2. Here you have pauses after each sentence. You need to copy me 100%: words, stress, pauses, intonation, facial expressions, and gestures.
3. This is the most challenging part - you try to speak WITH me. It might not work from the first time - just try again and again.
By copying a native speaker, you are teaching yourself to communicate in the most natural way!

This is my favorite technique, I try to use it whenever I'm watching Russian videos/vlogs on UA-cam.
It makes me feel like the words "click", like I can "think Russian" rather than just repeating vocabulary. I'd really enjoy more of these from your channel!

Totally don’t understand, I think I need to goto Russian speaking country to learn, otherwise I could not remember or speak any things. One of UA-camr he said he studied at school for first three months but could not speak, then he jumped into a Russian place to isolate him from his native language circle, then he learnt to communicate Russian in one month.
