- Incubus live on 9.18.1998 at Mississippi Nights Club, St. Louis, edited live in the club with 4 cameras to an SVHS deck. Audio is two mics by the sound board and a board line feed. This was for our public access show. System of a Down and Dial 7 also played this same show. SOAD live set:

Didn't realize the sitar jam has riffs from what would become Nowhere Fast in it. Super dope!
Anyone notice the middle part of nowhere fast already being written. That's the shit I love. Seeing the first makings of a future song. That sitar was bringing out some juice in Mikey there. BTW Mike Einziger should be recognized as one of the top 50 guitarists of all time. Even as a kid writing those riffs and solos on fungus and science were ridiculous. He was building metal and hard rock rythyms using jazz chords and blending this jazz funk hard rock thing. No one really sounds like Mike. He'd prolly tell u he was a bad guitarist but he's very humble. Step back and look at his sound. It's really versatile and creative.

Right before the jumped on the family values tour for ice cube while he went to go make the next Friday movie ..
This was supposed to be a System of a Down/Incubus tour, but someone from SOAD had an injury, so it was just Incubus. I saw this show a few weeks earlier in Jacksonville.
Unless I have this confused with another date after Ozzfest '98, SOAD & Incubus both played. Lepers has the SOAD footage as well.
Here's the link to the SOAD portion of the show. They opened, Incubus closed the show. Apparently they would trade off every other night doing this on this tour because they were both blowing up at the time.
I do remember talking briefly with Brandon after this set, he was sick as a dog. He had gathered all the fruit from the dressing room in his arms. Said all he wanted to do was go to the hotel (across the street) take a shower & crash. He definitely poured himself into this one-hour performance!

@@GOOCHIElicker Sorry I didn't realize you did not understand the reference. It's a reference to the 2018 game Among Us where a meme word is "sus" so I was making a joke that they came up with the "sus" meme before the game did.
