I really have to think about my most read authors, probably J.K. Rowling (9), T.A.Barron (11), Cassandra Clare (11) and Rick Riordan (28). If we would count rereads this would look rather different xD
Jesse if you're interested, austere is pronounced ost-ear and basically means super strict or having no luxuries (Also don't worry I pronounced klaus as clause until the movie came out 😂)
Most of the people I've seen didn't like cursed child? Then again that could just be me subconsciously searching videos that I agree with, but I still have heard mostly meh to pure hatred for "the eighth book of the series," as it calls itself.
Mine's 1: Uncle Rick w/ 19 books 2: J.k. Rowling w/ 8 And I'm currently reading TMI for the first time Otherwise the books I read are very scattered and not by the same author
Pro tip for Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series...the first two books are painfully slow but necessary for the exposition...books 3-5 are MUCH better (in my opinion)
Andrea The Book Lover absolutely!! lord of shadows broke me omg!!! and the epilogue of clockwork princess is the saddest and most amazing thing I have read!
Rick Riordan is my favorite author, I have 17 of his books. Once you read all of them, I'm sure you'll be a huge fan! As for my top 5 read authors, I'm still pretty new to YA reading, so I don't have many. But I have mostly Rick Riordan, J.K. Rowling, and Kathy Reichs.
L Jen Rose I have 18 including one companion book. I also have two graphic novels (Lightning Thief & Son of Neptune.) if you can count that. My second most owned author is J.K. Rowling and the third is Sarah J. Maas. I love J.K. Rowling and Rick Riordan's work equally because they have both shaped me into the person I am now. Like how Harry Potter got me into reading, and Percy Jackson made me love books even more and made me want to try more books. The two of them will always have a special place in my heart, and I can't choose one to save my life.
2900512 Actually, the Kane Chronicles is the series that got me reading Rick Riordan! I think its fantastic and just as entertaining as all of Rick's books
This is such a cool video idea. I really want to film it for my channel to see who end up being my most read authors. Cassandra Clare, JK Rowling, and Lemony Snicket would definitely be on my list too!
Top 5 fave and most read authors are.... 5 Christopher Paolini (4 books) 4 Michael Morpurgo (lots of books) 3 Jaqueline Wilson ( also lots of books) 2 J.K. Rowling (12 books) as Harry Potter author 1 Rick Riordan (17 books)
My top 5 most Read Authors in descending order:1. Masturi Hino with 19 books (the author of the Vampire Knight sears)2. Rick Riordan with 15 books (I am a little bit behind...)3. Lemony Snicket with 13 books (all of his A Series of Unfortunate Events)4. Cassandra Clare with 13 books (All of the shadow hunter books I can get my hands on)5. J.K. Rowling with 9 books :)Also yes some of my favorite Authors are on this list.
Jesse, you made my day when you included Lemony Snicket. I just finished reading the 13th book like an hour ago and seeing you include him made me feel so happy.
Mary Pope Osborne (All the magic tree house books except some that have come out more recently | I own 3 of the books I've read in the MTH series [Haunted Castle On Hallow's Eve, Christmas in Camelot & Blizzard of the Blue Moon {which i own 2 copies of this book}]) & Rick Riordan (27 books | I own 22 of the books I've read by him & 10 extra copies of different books I already own) are my most read authors.
When you said “I don’t really consider rick riordan as one of my favorite authors” I literally gasped and felt genuinely betrayed😂 but I still love ya Jesse💗
My most reader author is also my all time favorite author: Sarah Dessen, with 12/13 books. I've also read a lot of Richelle Mead, Meg Cabot, Stephenie Meyer, Jenny Han, P. C and Kristin Cast, Sara Shepard, Alyson Noel, Lemony Snicket and Julia Quinn.
Sarah J . Maas is MY most read.( I'm in her Court of Maas/ SJM is life camp) until now! I have many books to read( and hopefully like), but I know she will always be my favorite.
My top 5 would definitely all be my childhood faves, but I wouldn't be able to number them because, well, it's been a while... Enid Blyton, Jacqueline Wilson, Paul Jennings, Jeanne Bentacourt (Pony Pals) and Ann M Martin (The Babysitters Club).
I really enjoy your videos ;) they usually make me laugh, especially after a shitty day, so thanks for that! Because I unintentionally pick up rather long series, my most read authors currently are: 5. Kelley Armstrong with 23 books, one of my favourites She writes adult and young adult books in urban fantasy, they tend to be somewhat dark 4. Nora Roberts with 27 books, not really a favourite I get one of her books when I want to read a steamy contemporary 3. Andrea Schacht with 37 books, right up there with my absolute favourites A German author whose books usually take place in Cologne, but in many different eras 2. Tamora Pierce with 38 books, another absolute favourite I love both her worlds, Emelan and Tortall, and don't quite understand why so few people talk about her amazing books 1. Marion Zimmer Bradley with 41 books, again a favourite Most of her books I read because the Darkover series is epically long, but I really like the Avalon series as well I really like the books of J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Richelle Mead, Kai Meyer and many more as well, but they didn't have quite the numbers needed to top these ladies :)
Kathryn lasky- guardians of ga'hoole series Rick rodrian- percy jackson & the Olympian series and the heros of Olympus series P. C. Cast - house of night novels (and the two of the novellas) Justin Somper- vampirates series James patterson- witch & wizard series, maximum ride series, confessions of a murder suspect As you can tell im a huge series reader but my all time fave author is a tie between james patterson and P. C Cast
I feel the same about the Cassandra Clare books. if I ever get a chance to read them again it would be Infernal Devices and Dark Artifices all the way :)
Lemoni sniket... What can I say! I began my reading life with A series of unfortunate events! I just love him! His books helped me not to be afraid showing my abilities and made me to think how can I solve problems and pazzles creatively and effectively under any circumstances!
L j smith, kelly armstrong, alison noel, cassandra clare, l m montgomery and j k rowling just off the top of my head... many of these can be considered my favorites.
James Patterson for me! I read his Maximum Ride series three times! yes some of it doesn't hold up, its very comic book like drama. Mine are j.d robb (45) books , nora Roberts ( lost track because she writes so much), house of night series by p c cast, twilight series(4) and the lux series(5) by Jennifer armountrout
Pretty much all of my most read authors are from the time I was a kid/teenager because currently I am mostly sampling to see what interests me and I'm just usually not commiting to huge series anymore. So some authors from the top of my head would be C.S.Lewis, Rowling (9 if I count the cursed chiled), Snicket (13, but never read the Bad beggining haha) and Meg Cabot (must be over 20 books and I don't even like this author anymore lol). Oh, I almost forgot Astrid Lindgren, the queen of children literature, I used to collect her books and I read everything she wrote except maybe 1 book and she wrote at least 15.
My most read authors are Francine Pascal, R.L. Stine and V.C. Andrews. From childhood, I've read so many books by these authors. And back in the day when I could exchange used books...don't even get me started. Otherwise, I have copies of Sarah J. Maas and Cassandra Clare books as well. Lemoney Snicket, Trenton Lee Sewart, Heather Fredrick Vogel, Gordon Korman, And Madeline L'Engle. I seriously need to read Hollow City and another book called Wright 3 and other book and even more other books.😧
L Jen Rose I did like percy but I never picked it up again for some reason.....I will give mangus chase a go though! I heard amazing things about it :D
I always find it hard to get into a series everyone has hyped so much! this book sounds great but its like harry potter you liked it because you where able to relate to the main character! i'm sure its great but i'll probably never get to it and thats a bummer.
erin hunter is my most read author because they wrote the warriorcats series and im OBSESSED and their books take up 2 if my bookcases fully. i have pretty much all of the warriors books. i just counted and i have 60 to be exact. TAKE THAT JESSE

Honestly that makes me so happy that there is a booktuber who doesn't like it.
Most of the people I've seen didn't like cursed child? Then again that could just be me subconsciously searching videos that I agree with, but I still have heard mostly meh to pure hatred for "the eighth book of the series," as it calls itself.
Sarah McCullough same I didn't enjoy it as mush as the other Harry Potter books
Sarah McCullough I can enjoy it if i think of it as well written/slightly cringey gay fanfiction.
Because Scorbus is my life.
Sarah McCullough I also hated it, I was so disapointed
I knew I read a lot of Agatha Christie in my twenties but according to GoodReads I read at least 73! That woman wrote a lot of books :)
Mine's 1: Uncle Rick w/ 19 books
