My day job is design and 3D visualization of custom homes.

Some viewers may be interested in some previous videos about Land Rovers. They're at my previous channel, Riverport Rovers.

Here is the build series about my truck. A rather modified Series II Land Rover.

I rather silly build and road trip to the famous Land Rover Winter Romp in Maine.
bit.ly/2zjtPUW
A slightly less silly road trip to Cape Breton that does involve painting flames on a Land Rover.

The series that started it all. A crazy plan to build a Land Rover in one day from assorted bits lying around.

There's a few other videos that might be of interest at Riverport Rovers including the beginning of a Boler trailer refit.

the best of times...
time with family.
time thinking about diverting water.
time spent diverting brown water out of a glass.
I've just noticed Peter, that when you're 'monologuing', you usually pan the camera around your surroundings as you speak. This is far more preferable than just focusing on your face in a static shot, in closeup, as some UA-camrs frequently do. Even the most attractive and/or interesting face can lose it's appeal when it dominates the screen for more than a half a minute.
Thanks for keeping it interesting, week after week! Nice to meet your lovely daughter, and your new son-in-law again too.
It sure looked like a worthwhile visit. Glad to know Canada had beer to make up for whatever it was you were served in Massachusetts. Americans will figure out beer eventually, maybe even in this lifetime.
Peter, @0:53 -59 your shadow looks like Pup Geordie is also with you.💕 Family forever.
Last year my wife and I traveled to Boston and used Cambridge as our home base. It was very exciting to see the the many places we visited in your travels. Like you I (along with my wife) have two daughters that make up my family. I only hope your daughters have better taste in men than my daughters. However, our daughters have one thing in common, they know how to properly pour a beer. Cheers!!
Family. @travelswithGeordie ✌️❤
Your daughters are beautiful.
nice to be with family
The wife and I did the courthouse thing. Course it was the 2nd time for both of us. 10 months later we held the big party with friends and family. Couldn't have worked out better. That was 17 yrs ago.
Peter, you are a very rich, and blessed man. No money can buy what you have.
Thrilled for you..!
A Father's mark is upon his Beautiful Daughter. Be Blessed.
Peter got my T Shirt thanks so much. My daughter wanted to say that she was surprised at the quality,100% cotton.Cheers!
family is the best f the rest... ;-)
awesome peter, really hope you enjoyed your holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Family 💞
seemed your daughter was truly happy to see you and that is a great thing
Loved the ending on the slide. It's great to see that we are all just kids at heart.
Been binge watching for like 2 days now. I'm a trucker so you gotta kill some time somehow, and what better way than watching a guy do awesome stuff with boats😊
Family is number one!!!
Thanks for sharing.
Georgious Pete
I thought I was the only person who took pictures of manhole covers while on travel 😂. Love the happy family vibes
You can really tell she is your daughter 👍love this episode, well done.
We love Lunenburg too, and We have been sailing with Bluenose
Fantastic video Peter. Lots of good memories you got to make in a short time. Made me vaguely nostalgic for my hometown. Haven't been in years and years.
Beautiful episode Peter Knowles and beautiful children.
Its always wonderful to spend time with family!
Family time is always good time.
Thanks for sharing.
so nice to be able to visit family precious memories gives you a nice warm glow
This was fantastic on so many levels.
I’ve now been in San Francisco for 5 years and while I don’t think I’ll ever leave this place, it was nice to revisit the place where I grew up for 30+ years through your lens.
Thanks for that
You're very welcome!
Peter, you biked past my house by a block! If I had known, I would’ve walked over and said hello! Btw, glad you made it to North Point Park. That’s an absolute gem of a park, isn’t it?
Oh Man Peter, if I had known you were in town I would have given you a boat ride. This appears to be a few weeks ago. I move my boat from the Newton Yacht Club down the Charles thru the locks and up to Marblehead or Marina Bay every year on or about Halloween. Glad you got to see some of Boston. That's the Bluenose II a replica of the original. Big main on her. Safe travels. I live a few blocks from the locks. Cheers. My daughter is also a Cait
Thanks for sharing.
This is strong lesson for fathers, always make time for you children, ALWAYS.
Glad to see you were able to visit with family. It is a gift that never gets old. Got to see both my children over the holiday. I enjoyed as much.😊
She has your soft thoughtful eyes Peter. We love our daughters! I suspect mine is about your daughter’s age.
Great episode! Your daughters are lovely! Family is everything!
What fun! Honouring that ancient parental duty, that being to be able to embarrass one's children at least a tiny little bit. A fun video to watch.
Beautiful family you have Peter. Your Daughter is adorable as is mine.
Your life and experiences are the embodiment of most men’s dreams. I would call it lucky but somehow I doubt that it is. A true inspiration.
@jasonga.. : The way that you own "most men's dreams", instead of writing "my dreams" is really because.. why? Are you not used to expressing your dreams? ✌️❤
@@katrinebohr3119 unfortunately I am unable to fulfill mine due to disability. Hence the wording.
Great to see the family on video. Cheers!
I really look forward to your videos when they come out. Glad to see you were able to spend some time with your family. Cheers to you and yours, and looking ahead for what's to come.
Great video Peter, you can really see you enjoy your family your smile from ear to ear gave it away. 😊 It was nice to see Lloyd again. I spent some time decades ago between Bath Maine and Boston while in the navy, a beautiful area. As always be safe but have fun. 🛥🇺🇸
Love it, Boston born and raised!
Great video.
Always smile on my face when you visit family Peter!precious moments indeed. 🙌
Happy belated Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
Inspiring piece with wonderful love and happiness shared.
Great entertainment Peter. Life is too short to not have fun, Hope you all had a fantastic time.
Finally caught up to present videos again!
Love your video, a very nice presentation of parts of Boston for someone who has never been there.
I am still not in a spot to make a poem. But I will say this: It is always nice to visit family! And this video showed it.
So glad you were able to vist your daughter I visted our daughter in the UK in Jan to May of this year such a joy .
Great video Peter. Thanks for sharing your visits with us on UA-cam.
Safe travels.
Great episode seeing your daughter and now son in law again beautifully shot and edited.
Thanks for sharing, love the smiles!
You got the constable to go down the slide??!!
HA!! That's Awesome!!
Peter you were in my back yard ....I hope you enjoyed Boston and visiting your family
very cool
My parents have a place in Broad Cove, NS so it was cool to see the footage of Lunenberg-a place we know very well
Welcome to the family
Peter so good to see you on the east coast in my neck of the woods in Boston. Glad to see your daughters are doing well. Cheers.
The way a husband can remain a family is to agree with their wife! Happy wife happy life.
Thank you
Great to see you having such a good time!
Yes... USS Constitution. Now there's a haul out job for you Peter. I read that they docked her once and there was a foot of hog in the keel. Had to leave her on the blocks for a good while with all the caulking out to have her sag back. Afterwards they added some hefty diagonal strapping on the inside to try and prevent some of that happening again.
Wow Peter so blessed with a wonderful family thanks for sharing :)
musician always comes out ❤✌️
Hi Peter, nice to see your family growing.
I enjoyed the man hole montage, i have a similarly strange interest in old wrought iron field fencing and railings, but here in England they are a fairly rare find as most were commandeered for the war effort in the 40's. Ed
Nice looking place 😊 Family looks fit and well. 😅 Carry on 😊
Always nice, time with the family and Lunenburg is the place I want to visit...,😉
Nice to see the girls. Did their blog ever work out.? 🎉
Great episode!
My family is from Boston!
Pleasure wooden craft are rarer there than PhDs!
AH, THE OLD WROIUGHT IRON ART IN MAN HIOKE COVERS
Commenting here from 3 months in the future.. there are fewer than 100 comments, 1.4K thumbs up and 13K views. For the quality of content Peter puts out, these numbers are way too low. Please join me in telling your friends about the channel, and always be sure to hit the 👍 button when viewing. There is no reason the likes 👍 should be such a tiny fraction of views. Magnificent episode, .. wonderful to meet your family..
Excellent! I also have a daughter in the Boston area and she works in Cambridge (University Biology Professor). I recognized nearly everything you showed in the video so it was like I was also visiting, thanks. Glad you got to see your second daughter too, was that in Nova Scotia? It sure is pretty there. Cheers!
It is really cool to se you enjoying time with your girls which they are absolutely beautiful and thank you to share this moments with ours, you other family 🤓
Thanks for sharing Peter, really enjoyed this one, two locations for me and my family to visit 😀
Your daughter looks like you!
Peter I crossed the Panama Canal 2 weeks ago (using the old locks), I'm sure you would have loved it! You looked right at home in Cambridge, maybe it's your "wise professor" look :)
Quite different from the usual videos. Fun adventure. BTW: Seems that the Province and Sechelt Band want to get rid of all private and non-commercial boathouses in Sechelt Band traditional territory (and a bunch of other stuff that will affect mariners). I have to wonder if the Province will want to do the same elsewhere. Some old wooden/historic boats may be in jeopardy if they lose their boathouse.
Hi Peter, Good to see you in my neck of the woods Buddy !! I live 30 minutes outside of Boston in the (Burbs) ;) Happy Thanksgiving to you and the (FAMILY) 😉
Hello Peter, great episode, I posted a picture you might Enjoy on your latest Facebook post
If the kids are watching, glad you’re smart and went to the court house. Marriages where people waisted money 💰 is so stupid. Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊
That last slide looked painful?
We used to fly WestJet from Boston to Halifax but I think they discontinued flights.
What airline did you fly Peter?
looks a lot like Victoria, BC
Great episode at an appropriate time, thanks so much. Hope you will share equal family time with the other daughter. BTW a factoid about Cambridge, Massachusetts, it uses choice voting, also known as STV or the single transferable vote to elect its city government and school board. This voting system is a non-winner-takes-all method of proportional representation, which allows all groups to win fair representation in proportion to their share of the population. Cambridge holds the distinction of being the only jurisdiction in the United States that still uses a choice voting system.
Well Peter I hope you enjoyed the calmness of Boston . I live about 15 or so miles from Boston in a city called Lynn . It used to be the shoe capitol of the U.S. many , many , many decades ago . Did you on your bike ride along the Esplanade see the Hatch Shell ? And if you did what did you think of it ? Boston has had a horrible reputation for being a racist town and hopefully it has moved beyond that. I could actually picture Gordie cruising up the Charles River for a short jaunt as it’s deep enough for a short trip . I hope your trip here was great .
Good times ! Did you have some sourdough bread ?
Absolutely nothing to do with boater but very interesting. Thank you.
