I was so lucky to be a northern ohio 16 year old kid just out running around having michael stanley songs in the 80s on WMMS Cleveland blasting out are car stereos , the first note I was hooked,, they sang about love, wanting relationships, awesome times. Somehow we've lost that. Now it's greed and hate. Maybe try and respect others? Even if they don't act like you, don't look like you do. We're all humans trying to make a go at life in this unstable country. Stay safe, Thanks MSB and Kevin Raleigh for singing this power ballet. What a awesome voice. Hitting the keys too. Awesome times going to the concerts.
Summer nights at Blossom. Cheap tickets, great bands, great music. Loved when MSB was the opening band. Video & song bring back so many good memories. Feel sorry for kids today. Tickets cost too much & music isn’t from the heart & soul.
So rare, especially in this day and age, for an act to sound as good live as on the record. This was back when bands sounded fabulous live...great vocal by Kevin Raleigh...whole band sounds great. One of my all-time favorite pop songs.
There is another video of All I Ever Wanted & My Town at Blossom posted by David Wade. Again, they are incredible live! Michael will live on forever in his music.
SO F-ING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get goosebumps, even after all these decades, experiencing on video the explosiveness of this power-packed band in concert, on stage, at Blossom. Spectacular!!
Wanting What you can't have Praying For what you need And when you cry out in the night Not knowing what to do Who's the one--that Shows up to pull you through?
In the Blossom recording from 1984, on LP and CD, there isn't sax. Missed it, as Rick added so much. BUT this band configuration does allow Danny to shine even brighter on the solos...
I absolutely love his voice and the lyrics and energy of the songs that he writes and sings. This song just blew me away. Love Kevin Raleigh. What talent!
Love loved him my whole Life ,my brother started me listening, and I've been his biggest fan I'm 52. God bless his family, and rest in peace. P.s. Say Hi to my Dad Jim he loved you too! We will all meet again 💕
Cleveland native, recently found a couple of their records in a record store out here in Washington state and snatched them up. Would love to know their journey and how they ended up out here. It's criminal that this band never went national.
@@tomlentz1233 MSB was (and still is!) Cleveland's own, but I agree, Donnie Iris was a fantastic opening act!! Saw Donnie earlier this year at age 77 and he still is rocking!

Kevin sang this song beautifully I had a crush on him 🤣oh to be young again, I have been happily married for almost 25 years so I still got the best of both worlds ❤️😊
So many memories with this band!!!! Many backstage appearances. Danny Powers was AMAZING to be around as well as Bob P. and Mr. Michael himself, Great times, memories and photos!!
Times passes and we move on. Stayed in NE Ohio and made a good life with family close by. Ive probably seen MSN and Michael 15 to 20 times. Whenever I hear their songs there is always a bit of a heartache...
I remember him that year he stopped by an Ohio university bar . I watched as three girls at a time stood next to him and talked. Sure miss Ohio university. Good times . Greg Bradbury
no, Michael had "the voice" ...deep and smooth as silk, the best in rock-n-roll..... Rest In Peace Eternal, Michael.... Keep on rocking on that big club tour in the sky... #ClevelandLovesYouForeverMichael😥
he s hard to get a reply from on his fb page. he's not that damn busy to sAY thank you to someone who supported him, came to all his solo shows and truly loved his music and talent. i hate when talented people do that
i know that....hello. Im talkin about Kevin Raleigh and trust me his page IS run by him personally. I was the first to ask for a friend request and did that and quick hello and thanks. But i hung with him once back in 89. Theres just not much effort on his part these days.
and when i use the term "talented people" im certainly not referring to Michael. No offense i like alot of Mikes tunes but Kevin was the best thing that ever happened to that band.
@@MsDevybaby He had a deep hatred for Markasky as they all did FACTS Kevin is the only 1 not coming out of the woodwork now to make an extra bucks off a dead Stanley like every single 1 including Pecchio (who left ) and Markasky (who was fired for being an addict)
A St. Louis shout out to Cleveland - thanks for giving us all MSB! Your pride is justified.
Many great memories of these guys! this was what the 80s in NE Ohio was about

When did MSB open for anyone at Blossom? Not after 1977
It was so GREAT in the late 70s
Kevin sounds as good live as he does on the studio version. This is one of my MSB favorites!

I wish that they could bring him back to earth and is music. ❤❤😂😮😊❤
Great music!!!
Music from the 80's that didn't suck!! Great band
@honestpage82 New Wave? Awful. Hair Bands? Awful. Pop Music in the 80's? Awful
@honestpage82 Yes, 80 to 82 were still pretty good. And I don't care how talented hair band musicians were, the music was awful.

God bless the Stanley family and thank you msb for blossom concerts you made my growing up fantastic
Kevin’s voice is to die for! Such a sexy song and such a sexy performance by him and Michael both. ❤️

Top 3 of their best songs. And my favorite. Oh to go back and listen to them when I didn't have one too many beers in me....
Incredible Live Performance. Pretty damn close to studio version. Very talented, very underrated group!!!
I was at this concert!
I think everyone in NE Ohio at the time was. Still holds the Blossom 4 night sellout record. Donnie Iris was a good opening act.

If the lead singer of this great song was MSB's frontman??? MSB would have been FAMOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This dude can sing like a bird...
I agree. I think Michael Stanley was jealous of him.

I painted a painting for MSB and gave it to them at this concert while they were on stage! wonder if they still have it??
