To the amateur it may go unnoticed but after being a player for thirty years and nowhere near as good as this guy, i noticed how he not only played these pieces but became the players themselves! He got everything so spot on from the vibratos to the pick attack, even knoflers finger picking! These are things that make good guitar players into great guitar players.

@Bitmapman Yea I saw that... Very nice. I was growing up with all of this on the radio, and then on my vinyl and cassettes. But this penetrated all consciousness and opened up a door to a place in my soul, a place called "Rock and roll?" I just remembered one great solo by TN... with Amboy Dukes. 60s though. Anyway, I have hope for the future if we have people like this. And like these kids: ua-cam.com/video/f5iyIITGvSw/v-deo.html

theultimatexperience Well its ok if your not big into pink floyd, but the solos in comfortably numb are awesome because of the amount of emotion david gilmour puts into each note, instead of playing 3000 notes per second. Oh and I would recommend listening to full albums instead of listening to single songs by pink floyd. A lot of there songs end up leading into other songs. Wish you were here and dark side of the moon are two albums I would listen to from start to finish.

I literally do not even have words. I'm just speechless. Sir you are such a phenomenal musician in your own right. But as someone else said in this comment section, you not only played things perfectly, but you really channeled each guitarist. All of that would have been amazing in itself, but your choice of songs, and then the way you transitioned from one song to the other., the modified ending to the hotel california solo so that it went right into Sultans of swing.... the video editing. Everything... just literally EVERYTHING was perfect and more than that. Everything touched my soul. I'm not kidding, I dang near cried during some of those solos. You have a gift my friend. Of course, at my age, I remember every one of those pieces. Most I learned back in the day. Maybe my ears are just getting old and wonky, but damn it all, you actually played each and every one better than how I remember them being played by the original artists -- better technique and certainly much better feeling. Just astoundingly wonderful. I know I'll probably get clobbered for saying that, but the fact is: it is true. You are an astonishingly superior guitarist. Okay, that was awesome. And sometimes you forget how great some of those solos were, so now I'm off to find me some Skynyrd and some Floyd. Thanks for the vid!

This is really quite good. Knowing how to play at least a few of these solos, I know the kind of time required to not only learn them, but attain a reasonable level of proficiency playing them. Well done my friend! Don't know why this doesn't have more views...

As a drummer and non-guitar player, I didn't realize the iconic Free Bird solo was so compact into those three little frets. That was eye-opening!

You've captured every element of a perfectly chosen selection of great 70's solo's, from the technical, playing & reproduced sound aspects. Truly stunning, congrats. What I like the most though, is your obvious passion for the music, you clearly love what you do. Excellent work!!

That is amazing!! I'd love to see you play 2 of my all time favorite guitar solos. Both are ending solos... The end of Hitchin' a Ride and Who's crying now. I love great guitar players. Can't remember the last time I heard a good guitar solo. It's truly a lost art. Thanks

I am almost speechless. Fantastic tones and voices, great guitars, stellar playing. I am 61 years old and have been playing guitar since about grade 5. This was the music I grew up into, and have seen so many others including myself, try to emulate but I have never seen any as good as you have demonstrated. You have good strong hands, long fingers, a great ear and much talent. I've been casually playing twice as long as you may have even been around but I pale in comparison to you. I hope your talent leads you to fulfillment and satisfaction. Good operation of recording/editing/video as well!! A+++++

I like the way you change Guitars for the track you are playing, the PRS for Santana stood out for me, and as mentioned previously " Comfortably Numb " is a standout here. Nice One Mate.....

I've heard a few dozen half-decent versions of the Stairway To Heaven solo over the years, mostly mechanical and technical but I actually like your take on it. It's got some soul and accents of your own voice.
You also destroyed it with Freebird.
Comfortably Numb. Damn dude. I don't know what you're channeling, but I can feel the pain.
