I have very long and thick natural hair but I’m contemplating relaxing it because I’m tired of the long hours I spend during my wash days and I hate how I’m not enjoying my hair because I’m scared of getting knots and tangles. I love my curls so much but I think it’s time for change. Your videos are so insightful and are easing my nerves as I prepare for the transition 💕
Such a satisfying video to watch 😍❤. **A tip for your ends, when you get cornrows, don’t allow them to braid it all the way to the ends. If they stop like 3cm before the ends, then they won’t take much strain every time you loosen the cornrows with the rat tail comb.
I usually don’t use a comb to unravel this is my first if not second time. I think the ends are due to the different textures. I had over and under processed hair which is growing out and it’s not at the ends. I’m going to keep trimming until I get rid of them
Love the hair and your hair stylist. I went to the salon 3 weeks ago to touch up my re-growth and they put relaxer on my entire head 😭😭😭, must say I'm never going back there again. I relaxed my hair (myself) for the first time in April after doing the big chop in 2021 so I'm still trying to figure out a routine and best products for my relaxed hair. Your videos are of great help 💗💗💓. Can you or any of your fellow followers suggest a good salon for relaxing and trimming split ends around Pretoria North?
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s so hard to speak up at the salon😅 I struggled too but now with Thato she listens and understands what I want for hair. I hope someone will suggest a salon.💕
Wow...your hair is beautiful and healthy shame!! Who needs a weave with hair like that!! Do tell us what products you use for your hair pleaseeee sis...🥰
Hi, I mention all the products I use in my videos. I have a whole playlist dedicated to relaxed hair, you can watch here ua-cam.com/play/PLDgUK7qTg-tWNS7FbeBOQksnVmwgLWTIQ.html&si=xgk2w-WJqJt8EBbs
Please advice, 😢 I changed relaxers from using the blow out relaxer to Ors lye relaxer and my hair is literally falling/shedding. What do I do Pale, do I cut it off or put braids in and leave it alone 😫. I’m now 3 weeks post and been washing weekly but no change.
It could be you didn’t wait long enough before changing relaxers. The best way is to try a routine that will help strengthen and restore the health of your hair. This will depend on how bad the situation is

@@PalesaM1thank you for your reply, I actually stretched for 16 weeks. Maybe it wasn’t enough
@leratosss I’m so sorry. What does your hair feel like when you touch it
If I'm not mistaken you once mentioned that you've started using herbs on your hair that why they are getting darker , if so which herbs are those
I use my hair growth oil. (I sell it) . I’m not sure what is making my hair darker honestly. I’ve just commented Bev the change in colour is visible
@@PalesaM1if you use Amla, nettles, or Sage in you products that may be the cause. I use them in my line specifically for premature greys

Hey Pale, thanks for the amazing video. Question after relaxing what needs to happen until the next relaxer day?

Build a routine- so wash frequently, deep condition at every wash day, protective style, moisturise and seal your hair.
