Keeping reptiles is so satisfying. A pain in the ass cleaning their enclosures, to be sure, but satisfying when the work is done and you can just hang out with them.
it is higly reccomended to keep more then one in the same enclosure but it should be tall because they love climbing on walls and they will spend most of their time there
I've Brennan watching a lot of day gecko care videos since I hope to get a giant day gecko and this one by far is the most entertaining and helpful. The fact that your geckos are out and the camera isn't just filming an empty looking habitat is great!
im not a exbert or anything but i do suggest to feed them wax worms instead of super worms super worms have a really hard shell and they are a harder to digest. :) but great video!!
you are so wonderful with the geckos. I have them living wild in my yard and on the porch and would love to tame one. But don't really know how. I give them watermelon and they absolutely love it.
The mascot of Geico is a specie of the day gecko. Not sure which but it is definitaly a day gecko. There is no way the geico gecko can be a crestie or a leopard lol

excuse me, my mother bought me one of these guys and hes COMPLETELY skinny and hes darkish u can barely see the hence of turquoise on its tail and purple dots and he looks like he was abused she said the reason why she got him cuz it looked like he needed help hes not eating crickets, wax worms and im using gerber banana food and hes not eating...HELP i dont want this cool lizzo to die

i'm thinking of getting a gold dust day gecko and i'm confused about its food needs so i have a couple of questions:1-if i feed it crickets\mealworms\superworms that have been gut loaded and some fruit mix,is that enough?or do i need some extra vitamins and what kind? 2-i saw some commercial foods available online like:zoo med day gecko food,fluker's crested gecko food...if it is made out of fruits then it is used as a teat right?and do this food worth buying,if not then what do u recommend?
Vertical is good because they are aboreal. This cage here is a 20 long with an extender making it 40 gallon tall size. I added the extender for height since they are aboreal. So if you're using a tall cage, that's correct
nice video! i was wondering how you made the bamboo stay like that? i thought i saw a stick inside of the bamboo. if you did is it okay to wedge the stcik in between glass or do i need suction cups or something. if you could reply that would be great!
Would you suggest a male Giant day Gecko with a medium sized American toad in a rather large tank ( prob 40 gallons or 50), or a male Veiled chameleon in a 18' 18' 36' screen enclosure by it self. I got the bamboo from a craft store. It was 6 ft long and I sawed it into smaller pieces
