Despite the kits obvious shortcomings your perseverance and skill made a silk purse from a sows ear. Alex you may see the errors and problems with the kit, but we see a great model of the Titanic, and that’s enough for me.
Okay now I'm really getting antsy for the 1/350 minicraft to come in. Love love l9ve the Titanic. Beautiful build by the way. Amazing work with an older kit 🙂 So glad i came across your channel
Great video. I am about to embark building this kit so viewing this ahead has been invaluable to me. I already anticipated some of the issues you had but I won't know until I do mine if I will run into the same problems. You are brave to have masked the deck as you did and that is the last decision I need to make myself. I will either do it you way or paint it all white first and then mask off only the areas I want to keep white. It's hard to figure out which is harder. Thanks again!
Excelente trabajo, yo arme ese barco hace unos años y en verdad fue un dolor de cabeza, las piezas no calzan y la union es una fregada pero sin duda usted lo hizo perfectamente.
Hi from the U.K. Congratulations on doing such a great job with the kit and overcoming all of its shortcomings, the rigging at the end really was the ‘icing on the cake’. It’s unmistakably the Titanic and would look good on anyone’s shelf. On a completely different note, I’m sorry to hear you have had some issues with hand tremors.
Hi just found your channel and will subscribe to it. You have worked so hard on the ship of dreams unfortunately didn't end well. You have created a master piece and considering you had no instructions and the decks were warped you can be so proud of yourself. I am working on my titanic from Hatchet partworks 1/200 scale would luv it if one day you could also make it .take care my friend and look forward to your next build. 👍
For an oldie (the kit!) it certainly turned out really well, Alex. You must have enjoyed the distraction from the the epic of the Victory build and found it a pleasing final result.
Holy moly Alex, this is an awesome model and video my friend! My greatest respect for building such a ship model, i find them very hard to get right and i never really managed to build such a ship myself to such a standard. I am impressed indeed. Also, i love to see a Portuguese modeller have a go at such vessels, i think that feels right :)
Hello Alex, hope all is well with you and your family. What an amazing build and video. You never disappoint on your builds. As soon as I got home from work, i had dinner took a shower and pot a Keurig coffee on in my Alex modeling mug and enjoyed thr video. The kit and especially the paint job was perfect. I liked the gold stripe on the hull. I've been feeling a lot better in the last week,so I will start up on the Hikawa Maru. There is a video on UA-cam about the kit, if you have time check it out and tell me what you think of the kit. Again excellent build and video have a great week and stay safe and healthy my brother. As always my very best to you, your family and friends. God bless. 👍👍🇵🇹🤝🇺🇸
I have that same kit here and the PE set for it. Wich brings even small seals ... The kit looks great !! You are talking about the Japanese icebreaker right?
@@AlexModeling no thats the Soya, still working on that. This is a Japanese ocean liner from the 1920's, a beautiful ship. Both kits are from Hasegawa.
Great job Alex, I built 2 of them , one in 76, another in 79 and have one staring at me right now. One of these days 🤔 Hope you and your family have a great/safe week ! And welcome back !!!! Tony
Just curious, I've watched so many model build videos but no one mentioned that parts should be washed first with dish detergent to remove mold release oily stuff that may affect adhesion of paint, putty, cement, etc. Or do these new kit releases no longer have the mold release agents? Anyway, parts still need to be washed after holding them during prepping, removing flash, etc. because our fingers are often oily.
I have 3 of this model and ive made it 3 times and none of them come close to this edit: do you think that the 1/250 scale hms victory or the 1/100 scale is better bang for the buck. I can afford both but I want to know your thoughts before I spend the money
This is the classic Grandaddy of Titanic kits .Lovely work on this nice simple kit .That evokes soo much nostalgia .
This is the first video that I have seen that lived up to it's sub-title of "Full Build".
I learned a great deal from watching it. Thanks.
Old school Revell kit building. Nice to have you back...
Thank you!
Whoaaa mate, it's been a long time! Welcome back.
Thank you! Its good to sit até the bench and build! Hope you are safe!
Welcome back brother
Highly satisfying build mate. Really brought that old girl in to the 21st century
Nice build if an old classic. Hard not to smile with this video build.
Thank you! It was a lot of fun
Glad to see you're back...and always remember to keep smiling.
Always

Thank you Harry! And thank you for your videos! I learn a lot white you!
My first marriage was like the titanic..thought we go far but it ended in disaster lol
Now that's some funny stuff right there. But sad to say, I know that feeling so well.🤨 Stay safe my friend.
Nice too have you back. Nice build, it did look like had little trouble. I think it turned out good. Hope you are doing well.
Thank you
Love it. Excelente for my History class.
NIcely done, Alex! Good to see you.
Outstanding! Thank you for posting. I always enjoy your videos and the positive energy you bring.
My pleasure
What can I say, it's the Titanic. Built a couple in my lifetime, but I really suck at trying to achieve a woodgrain look. Yours looks good!!!!
Thanks! Stay safe
Great work Alex, as always. You can take something out of the box, and make it a museum piece. Glad to see you back my friend.🙏 Welcome Home 👍
Thank you!
@@AlexModeling Always will be there for you my friend.👍

Its always here waiting! Cheers!
Hello is this model but for the 1200 scale version can it swim on the water ?

Great job they also make the 1/200 scale model of the titanic and the smallest scale is 1/1200
Beau travail !!! ❤️❤️👍🏻⚓️

Yes it was good to break away (a bit) with such a beautiful"Lady" as Victory! Stay safe
Você é um bom modelista, muito respeito para esse trabalho. 👍👍👍
Muito obrigado!
Great job well done!
Thanks

🙂🙂 Thank you Michael! I really like Titanic... Its misticism and moral Legend is above the machine itself wich is also very impressive for ver time 🙂🙂
Got this kit from my wife years ago
Lost a peace of the front deck so i can't finish him
Revell can't sent me the part
Yours looks great, be safe Alex

Tom's Model Works makes a photoetched detail set for the Revell U.S.A 1/570 R.M.S Titanic.

Have to Search for that One..... Looks so beautiful! And a lot of detail not like old revell
@@AlexModeling I also have a PE set and self adhesive wooden decks for the kit. Yes she is a beautiful ship.
Beautiful compared to mine but very pain staking when parts are warped I know I built 5 Titanic kits in around a 4 year span.
i built one of these it was a more recent version around 2014 ish

Grande Alex!! Está tudo bem contigo, meu Amigo?
Olá Nilton! Cá ando! Tudo bem! Espero que contigo também 👌🙂
Its been awhile, nice to see you back at the bench building. You did a nice job with this crappy kit
where are the tensioners?
I have that
I have 3 of this model and ive made it 3 times and none of them come close to this
edit: do you think that the 1/250 scale hms victory or the 1/100 scale is better bang for the buck. I can afford both but I want to know your thoughts before I spend the money
Probably the 1/100 has more potencial for detailing! But that depends on the space you want to use to displsy it after done. Stay safe
Thanks! I have a lot of room so I guess I will go with the 1/100 scale ship have a good week Alex!
You too! Stay safe!
