Breathtaking. This type of dedication, patience, and commitment to perfection shows not just a love for modelbuilding, but a love for the Titanic herself. You are a genius, and I hope you continue to amaze us with your talents for many, many years to come.
Anyone this dedicated has to be a reincarnation of someone who once died on the Titanic. He doesn't want the world to ever forget what a magnificent ship it once was. This model needs to be in a museum for everyone to enjoy. Thank You for Your gift and accomplishment...its truly amazing!!
Like many, I find the Titanic story to be sad and fascinating, and I've seen parts of the ship on display, but I'm nowhere near a Titanic fan as he is, but anyone can respect the passion to make a model like this. This is phenomenal work, from one modeler to another!
What can one say, absolutely outstanding , the work and time he's spent researching the Ship, incredible , one of the very best Titanic models, there should be a gathering at some convention centre of all the brilliant Titanic models built by ordinary people in there homes , what a display that would be .
I am a Titanic specialist and I can say that it is the most incredible and accurate model of the ship I have seen in my life. It should be in a museum or exhibition. There is a real work of research and precision and also a lot of talent. Well done!
By far the best I have ever seen. I plan to buy a Trumpeter 1/200 version and add lights and extras. Your model will be my mantra to keep at it. Every ounce of work you did in your model shows forever.
Thanks goodness the title was alluded to at the end, cause I was wondering why someone would want to build a model 15,000 times the size of the actual ship! Honestly though, props to Jason on such a great looking model - the years of attention to detail, dedication and hard work really paid off.
Stunning work, as a Titanic fan myself no other ship has caught the interest of people, your journey of building and improving is a real dedication and tribute to those who sadly lost their lives in that fateful night.. I love the 2 models you did of it in its final resting place, unique idea to do a pre rusted version.. I've seen the other replicas at the science museum in London when they did a Titanic exhibition. Fantastic work and endurance.
“I’m just glad it didn’t have more than 20 lifeboats.” Yeah, so was Bruce Ismay lol. In seriousness though, this thing is gorgeous. Mad props to anybody who can scratch build anything like this. My hat is off you to sir.
Some camps have the central prop as a 4 blade, some as a three blade, reference material also shows both views, one with three and others with four so...... decisions to be made :)
Your intricacies on the RMS Titanic construction models are over the top. What a great talent you possess. Being able to share your works around the World for all to enjoy as well. I’m over the moon with your abilities. Wow!
This takes extreme patients. I build 200:1 scales where everything is already molded and you can buy additional kits and those take me about 2 years. Couldn't imagine having it all made from scratch. Amazing work
Being an artist and architect, I always wanted to build the titanic model.. You’ve done a great job 💐 happy for your patience! My fav ship came out really well !!!
For the amount of detail this model has and the amount of pieces that had to be scratch made four and a half years is not a long time he basically did this model pretty quickly at my opinion it's a work of art.
Wasn't sure what to expect from this video but I loved it. I'm lucky to be a colleague of Jason for a number years and he a top bloke and am happy his hobby finally getting the recensions it deserve. Great Video
I'm an amateur modeler myself. When I saw the 15000:1 scale, I say that can't be right. Perhaps they mistakenly swapped the numbers. But 1:15,000 is super tiny, perhaps only an inch long. Then he said that the real Titanic took three years to build by 15,000 men, but four and a half years by him alone. Then it dawned on me that the 15,000 are the men who worked on the real Titanic compared to him alone. That's dedication! Outstanding craftsmanship!!
I'm impressed by the patience to tackle this large of a project after you built so many of the same kind of model. Many people have your kind of skill, but you had the dedication and patience to stay with it. It is a fine model and many have congratulated you and so do I.
Firstly I have never seen a model quite as special as Titanic on the seabed as she sits today. Truly amazing. Also, my brother was in the funeral industry and sorry, I couldn't help noticing your 15000:1 model is sitting upon a mortuary table. What a brilliant juxtaposition. Something so wonderfully full of life, energy, spirit and attention to minute detail, sat upon something made to move the dead about upon. Even that has a little genius about it. A truly gifted man ❤
Perhaps somewhat disappointingly, Jason told me that the table is not from his line of work. Otherwise, I agree, it would be an interesting juxtaposition. By the way, the model is 1:72 scale - "15,000:1" refers to something else, right at the end of the video.
O senhor possui minha admiração pela dedicação e esforço monumental à pesquisa dos mínimos detalhes. Uma obra digna ao mais prestigiado museu e memorial deste navio. Parabéns!
Absolutely Outstanding - I truly take my hat off to you Jason, what a build....congratulations on her completion.... attention to detail is so unbelievable, looks like the real ship has come to life in model form...thank-you for a lovely video....
I have seen many Titanic RC-Modelboats in the last few years, but what you Sir built is absolutely fantastic. Never seen so many excellent details on a model. thanks for sharing your passion with us. Greetings from Germany.
Hi, Jason! The RMS Titanic exhibit was at Seattle's Pacific Science Center for several weeks in 2001, and because I'd contributed local research to the PSC and KOMO television, I was permitted to attend as often as I wished. Along with the "Big Piece," one other notable feature of the exhibit was an enormous model of the ship itself that was displayed in such a way that one could view it from all sides. I was astonished - I'd never seen anything like it! Now in 2021, I finally know who built it. Many, many congratulations, sir! Absolutely magnificent!
This is absolute total utter killer genius talent, dedication and patience! Everything, scale, detail, proportions, shapes, colors and texture, looks impeccable and totally convincing.
Your craft and work is absolutely incredible and by far the best I have ever seen. What a beautiful memorial for all those that lost their lives. Congratulations to you mate!!!
Awesome! I want one that size in the lounge! I have always wanted to see what she would have looked like a few minutes after reaching the sea bed, but it is quite upsetting to see it actually. Brilliant though.
Amazing work, Jason. I’ve built models and most of the time I do some scratch building, but looking at your Titanic, I feel like I have just enough skill to appreciate your accomplishment. The four years you took on it, given the level of detail with all the research seems almost quick. I think if I was at your house in person, I could spend a couple of hours looking at it and still not notice everything.
Well done, looks stunning. I remember September 1, 1985 like it was yesterday, and I’ve been an avid Titanic fan since a young age. My own 30 year old model of the ship is not a patch on yours. Looks amazing.
Greetings from Thailand. I admire your work. I am going to build one similar like yours but not 12 feet because I live in a townhouse. Would love to show you mine once it’s completed. I am so fascinated with this ship. May God bless the souls of those that lost their lives in that frigid water 😢🙏🏼
Back in the mid 80s, I bought a 1/300th scale model, about 3 feet long. The model cost me $45.00 at a hobby store. Wasn't a bad price even for the time, but the big expense was the Glues, Knives, Paints and many other what have yas. It cost me about $250.00 to put her togather, which took a few months. And he is right about the color of the funnels. I had a terrible time mixing the right paint to get that off yellow collor. Like him, I'd just turn on the music, ignore time, excercise patience and quit when I was tired. But in the end, I got the perfect model, not a flaw.
This is really hot stuff! I love the 1/72 scale and have modeled animal figures for it for a number of years. That's pretty much exactly the other end of what's on display here in terms of size. But I would also put a Titanic like that into my living room! Respect!!!
amazing work, the comment about taking time is spot on, I built a working model of a bedford cf2 van and there's quite a few things I wish I'd taken more care over.
Absolutely stunning. Superb craftsmanship, Mr King. I may be drawing upon your work and techniques when I set out to construct a 1/30 scale manned replica of Titanic.
A great replicate of the most famous ship the titanic the attention to detail and skill is a credit to you the time it took to complete shows great patience a fantastic job congratulations to you thank you very much

I don’t think anyone who died on the Titanic went down thinking it was a magnificent ship.
@@AtticusSwift he meant like how it looks. Not how the titanic was sinking
My son is currently obsessed with the Titanic, I can't wait to show him this! Amazing work.

Thanks Andrew, I appreciate your kind words :)

This is perhaps the most beautiful recreation of the Titanic. Well done!
Such eye candy. I am a modeler myself (model railroading) and I am just floored by how much he paid attention to such detail!
This is the best model i have ever saw
and the model builder is also very creative
Outstanding work By Jason. I am also using his model as reference along with other researches to build my model.
