So true!! Male anger is instant, at least the male anger I’ve witnessed is always straight to 100, straight to shouting but women it’s gradual almost. We have spent our whole lives having to control it to not come across as psychotic and crazy so it’s a gradual increase until we can’t hold it in anymore then it’s explosive and emotive. It’s not just anger it’s hurt , sadness, betrayal and just being so sick of trying to hold it in. it's because people (imo somewhat unfairly) hate Sydney's character too much. When they see Cassie screaming and getting angry, whether she's wrong or right in the situation they call her crazy and overdramatic, not looking at why she's so mad or her side of the story. They have sympathy for Rue, they understand her anger, even if they don't agree with her actions or opinions, and so they praise Zendaya's acting. If they understood Cassie's performance a little more she'd definitely have a few awards under her name, and I hope once the series progresses and Cassie develops, more people will appreciate Sydney.

If you watched this compilation and didn't think most of these were tantrums perhaps you don't know the meaning of the word. These are quite literally tantrums.
Half of these are tantrums. But Fiona almost killed her brother. Lip has the right to be angry. And Nate still sucks but he was upset with his father for traumatizing him which is still valid. The rest by the men are tantrums I think.
It's because women are conditioned to hold in their anger or else they're seen as dramatic, hysterical and crazy even if it's completely valid, eventually it inevitably reaches a boiling point and explodes, which makes women more dangerous and unpredictable because they don't hold back at that point (in my opinion). I don't know if half of these scenes portray that, but that's just how it is based on my experience.

For some reason the scene at 2:57 stuck to me. Just the sheer, held back rage she had to smile and walk away. You know she's livid inside but not letting it out, the bitterness just drips out. I kinda disagree because to me it's more realistic to see a woman scream in anger but most people don't see it as anger they just see it as "being crazy" or "being emotional" so they don't often recognize it as anger. I honestly hate when movies and shows show women raging in silence and you saying it is more realistic kinda just pushes more into the fact that letting it out is "being crazy" or "emotional" when it isn't.
There’s a lot of comments on how the women in these clips are embarrassing themselves or setting a bad example for teenage girls watching these clips, but I don’t really think that’s the point of female rage. While there are stories that depict the world as we want to see it, these stories are more about depicting the world as it is. Women get angry, and it’s not always pretty. Sometimes it’s downright ugly. I think the reason it’s focused on here is that women generally aren’t allowed to rage. We’ll get criticized for our anger, and people will refuse to take us seriously unless we channel our feelings in socially acceptable ways. In my experience, I don’t know how much raging would’ve helped me as an angry and depressed teenage girl. But I wish I could go back in time to tell her it was okay to not be okay, that I didn’t have to be who everyone wanted me to be, that I could find an outlet for everything I was feeling. Regardless of gender, I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one.
i’m trying to tell myself that now. since my brother passed, i’ve always felt like i was supposed to be okay (i was 12 when he passed). whenever i would say that i wasn’t okay, i would get yelled at, or told “stop using your brother as an excuse”. so now i just stick to “i’m fine” to spare myself from that. i’m still trying to learn how deal with my emotions as a 16 year old.

In my experience, a lot of men don't view their own anger as a problem, because it's culturally accepted for men to show that explosive rage. When women display the same set of emotions, they're "crazy".
For Fiona, although Fiona was Liam's guardian, at the end of the day there were 4-5 other adults present when that happen to Liam, and every last one of them should have kept an eye on Liam when he was there. I feel like Fiona shouldn’t have been fully blamed when other adults were present during that time. Even though they were not Liam's guardians they were still adults so at least one of the adults should have paid attention to a toddler that was there ...

maybe im wrong but a lot of what Fiona did was things that in turn hurt not only her but her family, while what the others did were stuff that mostly affected them individually she didn’t have to take care of them she chose to like when debs got pregnant Fiona refused to help her but debs wanted support and love and had to kinda do it alone and Fiona’s breakdowns were always about situations she got herself into like dumb dating dumb immature men who got her into trouble and everyone always had to support her no questions asked even tho it was her choices that got her there

OK I swear the thing that pisses me off the most is that Fiona gave up so much to take care of them and every time the smallest thing happened they would blame her but then always come back expecting her to like fully take care of them all over again as if they hadn’t done anything wrong. Liam almost dying from a drug overdose @ the age of 3 was a small little thing (she was the one responsible for him when it happened) My thing with Fiona was she had every right to make it all about her like you said she was always giving up so much for the rest of her family (i mean I think they all did to make life liveable in that fd up place) she (as with everyone else) was/were always amazing at protecting and attacking when anyone went after her family but the one time it was supposed to be about her she seemed to show what the show had Been saying since episode 1, and that’s the Gallagher’s are amazing when they all have the same goals, mindset, objectives , etc. Only problem is she was only thinking about clearing her name and making sure she wasn’t going to jail/prison

I'm a girl in my late 30s. I've been a film and tv addict my whole life -- life had other ideas for a while, but I'm on the path to making movies again. I've seen a lot of bad movies, and a lot of great movies! This video was really well edited and your use of background music was so well done. Women are so hard to portray because we're often a mystery to ourselves. It gets easier as you get older. The fear, anger and worry you feel in your 20s often turns to concern, trust in yourself, and love. I really like how you mixed the fear and anxiety of being a young women with mothers and mature women -- it's hard to transition between them, especially out of context. If you're in school for film or editing, you're doing a great job! This video shows you have a great understanding of it.
while i like coquette-core, lana del rey's persona throughout her "born to die" and "ultraviolence" eras, and ethel cain's persona throughout her "preacher's daughter" story/album, and more femme-fatale characters i'm failing to mention... it's uncomfortable that we're classifying "feminine rage" into an aesthetic, continuing to make ourselves more easily digestible. we're also absolving ourselves of any uniqueness through this grand-scale relatability (online), and the hyper-specification of it all. nothing is original anymore. i'm so appreciative that intersectional feminism has shone light onto the deep-seated, overwhelming, suffocative rage that women harbor; driving the popularity of this aesthetic... but i also wish that mental illness in women-- triggered by the comprehension that this world isn't ruled nor made for us-- wasn't so sugar-coated, neatly packaged with flowers and frills. i think we choke on the bitterness of our rage enough, being stifled by the patriarchal systems that perpetually hinder our full autonomy. while it's relieving to unify with other women who resonate with this concept... i also think being an angry woman isn't something to admire, but something to fear. our ravenous hunger for power and the depth of our universal rage is just as ugly and terrifying as the men who planted it. i hope this makes sense. i'm just very torn on the subject.

Yes! I believe that when it comes to love, women do it better than men by literally submitting their everything into nurturing the thing they adore most. Hence, when it comes to hate and revenge, women take on this extreme evil level as they voluntarily dismiss their innate nature of caring and loving others to put on a persona that manipulates and tortures those they despise. And so, female rage is nothing to celebrate...in fact no gender's rage and anger should be made into an aesthetic! If you want to glamorize your temper issues, feel free to do so in an asylum with the rest of your kind.

very well put, I also had mixed feelings about this video and came to the comments looking for someone who could articulate what was bothering me. Rue having a relapse-fueled breakdown and railing against everyone she knows shouldn't be put in the same category as that iconic scene from hidden figures. One of those is a heartbreaking story about a drug addict and one is actually very relevant to the subject of the video. Just because Rue is a girl in a scene who is angry doesn't mean she should be here. Female rage is NOT an aesthetic and fetishizing it is just one more way we downplay and box in our very real, complicated emotions by making them safe, convenient, and well-trimmed.
i think the most chilling one was the clip at around the 3:00 mark where the guy yells "what is wrong with you?' and the woman goes "okay. bye." and walks away. like wait i need to know more about what is going on there!
I had al ways hated how female rage is represented, how in tough situations they would break and start crying looking for a man to handle the situation. I just love when women feel rage and handle it themselves whether they rage first then become cold, calculating or the other way around like it is for me I feel rage but I suppress it, I’m cold and calculating until I explode or perfectly execute my vengeance. It tests my patience to do that but the longest I’ve gone planning something is 6 years and counting the fall out will be epic.

Honestly I completely agree with female rage being empowering and something that should be accepted the same as male rage, but with abuse such as Rue's to Fez its not quite the same. Abuse and emotional manipulation is still abuse, regardless of gender. True equality is recognising that men and women should be able to openly feel and display their emotions, and these emotions should be accepted unless they are abusive and harmful.
Fiona is one of my favorite characters in Shameless because just like everybody else in the show. She’s a flaw human being who has done bad things and make mistakes. But at the same time she has every right to be angry and pissed off at the world. I remember when her mother spend all the money and almost got Carl killed. Fiona straight up loses it and yells out in frustration. You feel her angry towards her mother and how she can’t even leave her family for one day unless one of them starts trouble. Another best moment was when Fiona yells at Frank and made him cry.
Can people stoooop putting rue in these, just because she plays the angry emotion really well doesn't mean its a good depiction of female rage. She's an addict going through withdrawals and destroying the relationships around her because of it. Its abusive behavior, not "female rage"

Rage is an emotion everyone can go through, in these clips these women are literally going through something important in their life to cause them to rage and break because of it. Everyone rages based on the situation or trauma, not the gender.
I recommend if you want to do another compilation, to add a scene of the movie: "Relatos Salvajes" (Damian Szifron), in the movie there is a story about a bride who founds out in her wedding day that ther husband is cheating with a guest at the party, and she goes on a crazy rage, and its over the top, but also realistic. I would argue that the biggest difference between male and female rage is that male rage is often portrayed as pure rage while female rage is often indulged with other emotions such as sadness or grief that the rage comes with. Its portrayed the way that when female gets mad most of the time they would end up crying. This is another angle to the discussion as I agreed that we often see female rage is repressed and not explosive as men. However, to decide whether the representation is correct or not, I would say it wouldnt conclude with a white and black answer since it is true that female does have the societal pressure to repressed their anger and control their emotions better than men. But it would be nice to see a representation where the female character does not hold back and follows their instinct on the spot instead of taking revenge later on.

Men's rage is terrifying because how they express it is by hitting stuff, breaking things or even hurting people, and it's caused by deep-down depression. Women's anger is terrifying as well, yet it was caused by passion, pain, and they expressed it by yelling.
Anyone ever been so enraged by someone’s actions that you imagine hurting them like a rag doll? With the screams and all? It actually calms me down for instance.
Realistic female anger is often red-faced tears and silence because we e been conditioned to be quiet our whole lives. I don’t know many women who yell. But I know a LOT of women who get quiet and slowly release their anger over YEARS. Because an “angry woman” is still not taken seriously and is often classified as “hysterical” or “on your period” or “emotional.” This is what’s crazy about that argument that everything will be better when men can finally “be allowed” to be emotional. It’s BOTH genders that need to allow themselves to feel and express more and in healthy ways. Women are allowed to cry, yes, but there’s a line in there that keeps us from crying too much. Because if we cry too much, we get less respect. So this “screaming rage” I’ve only seen happen a few times with women. It’s more likely to be quiet rage slowly coming out in petty ways over years while men hold all their emotions down so far they don’t know how to be angry anymore, they only know how to disappear and then explode when they get shook up too much.

I just wanted to note that in the clips the females rage is caused by a buildup of anger and moments that they have been forced to supress, thats why their so angry. Sociaey often forces women to supress our anger so we are not portrayed as hysterical or emotional, but often we reach braking points and i think actual rage should be protrayed more in woman in meda, not the kinda of supressed, calculated rage that pple have been calling female rage.

I feel that the way we women express rage is stems from the way we are raised. We are taught to stay composed and not result to physical anger or physical anything. We are pushed away from things like fighting and sports yet people wonder why girls don't try in gym class. It's because we were taught that wasn't for us, that we should just watch from the sidelines and shouldn't take action. We have been deterred and discouraged from engaging in anything like that, that many figure what's the point? We will he ridiculed whether we try or not? Men expect us to not try but get mad when we don't. Doesn't make sense. In addition to this, because we are discouraged from expressing anger physically we have found a way to navigate it pyschologically. Instead of physical warfare, punching holes in walls, throwing tantrums, hitting, it's pyschological. Playing mind games, trapping our enemies in impossible mazes and just generally using our brains to get what we want. From and early age we've had to be intelligent in the ways of seduction and enticement. We've had to figure out to get what we want without getting it ourselves because we've been taught not to. Girls continue to see on TV that when you're pretty and when your this and that and play mind games you can get what you want so the grow up thinking that's the way to live. Instead of getting angry physically we've had to figure out a way to express anger and get revenge mentally and that's something men are speaking about more and more. They get angry and throw a tantrum on the floor like Nate or punch a whole in the wall or fight someone. They are allowed to act a fool and us women are taught to be caretakers and comfort and console them after they calm down. This leads to women being in abusive relationships thinking it's her job to take care of the man and it's okay if he hits me or act a fool cuz he's a guy and that's what they do. That was demonstrated in the Scarjo film. Ontop of it all we are always silenced and interuppted to the point where we often choose not speak at all. But are always thinking. Not all women are like this since everyone is different. I myself am a tomboy in both appearance, personality and mentality and over the years have been developing a more masculine and simpler outlook and reaction to things but I still understand the depth behind why women are the wat we are and still share the same trauma even if I might more incline to hit or break something rather than play games. All in all, there are multiple factors for how we express rage and this video only showed a little piece of that. I pray that going further into the future we can raise both our daughters and sons to more healthily express rage. Give them equal opportunity to express it both mentally and physically. When you get mad and want to hit something there is nothing wrong with that but it's important we give the resources needed to channel that into something say a sport for example. Give them a punching bag or large stuffed animal. Raise future generations of girls so that they won't have to play pyschological warfare or anyone else or themselves. If we do this going forward we can surely turn things around.

sydney sweeney deserved an emmy for her euphoria performance. she and zendaya carried this season on their backs single-handedly and i hate that sydney isn’t getting enough credit.
it's because people (imo somewhat unfairly) hate Sydney's character too much. When they see Cassie screaming and getting angry, whether she's wrong or right in the situation they call her crazy and overdramatic, not looking at why she's so mad or her side of the story. They have sympathy for Rue, they understand her anger, even if they don't agree with her actions or opinions, and so they praise Zendaya's acting. If they understood Cassie's performance a little more she'd definitely have a few awards under her name, and I hope once the series progresses and Cassie develops, more people will appreciate Sydney.

Half of these are tantrums. But Fiona almost killed her brother. Lip has the right to be angry. And Nate still sucks but he was upset with his father for traumatizing him which is still valid. The rest by the men are tantrums I think.
It's because women are conditioned to hold in their anger or else they're seen as dramatic, hysterical and crazy even if it's completely valid, eventually it inevitably reaches a boiling point and explodes, which makes women more dangerous and unpredictable because they don't hold back at that point (in my opinion). I don't know if half of these scenes portray that, but that's just how it is based on my experience.

For some reason the scene at 2:57 stuck to me. Just the sheer, held back rage she had to smile and walk away. You know she's livid inside but not letting it out, the bitterness just drips out. This is how I commonly see women show anger. Not in screaming, not hysterically. But held back so tightly it seeps through the cracks as bitterness

I kinda disagree because to me it's more realistic to see a woman scream in anger but most people don't see it as anger they just see it as "being crazy" or "being emotional" so they don't often recognize it as anger. I honestly hate when movies and shows show women raging in silence and you saying it is more realistic kinda just pushes more into the fact that letting it out is "being crazy" or "emotional" when it isn't.
There’s a lot of comments on how the women in these clips are embarrassing themselves or setting a bad example for teenage girls watching these clips, but I don’t really think that’s the point of female rage. While there are stories that depict the world as we want to see it, these stories are more about depicting the world as it is. Women get angry, and it’s not always pretty. Sometimes it’s downright ugly. I think the reason it’s focused on here is that women generally aren’t allowed to rage. We’ll get criticized for our anger, and people will refuse to take us seriously unless we channel our feelings in socially acceptable ways.
In my experience, I don’t know how much raging would’ve helped me as an angry and depressed teenage girl. But I wish I could go back in time to tell her it was okay to not be okay, that I didn’t have to be who everyone wanted me to be, that I could find an outlet for everything I was feeling. Regardless of gender, I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one.

i’m trying to tell myself that now. since my brother passed, i’ve always felt like i was supposed to be okay (i was 12 when he passed). whenever i would say that i wasn’t okay, i would get yelled at, or told “stop using your brother as an excuse”. so now i just stick to “i’m fine” to spare myself from that. i’m still trying to learn how deal with my emotions as a 16 year old.

In my experience, a lot of men don't view their own anger as a problem, because it's culturally accepted for men to show that explosive rage. When women display the same set of emotions, they're "crazy".
For Fiona, although Fiona was Liam's guardian, at the end of the day there were 4-5 other adults present when that happen to Liam, and every last one of them should have kept an eye on Liam when he was there. I feel like Fiona shouldn’t have been fully blamed when other adults were present during that time. Even though they were not Liam's guardians they were still adults so at least one of the adults should have paid attention to a toddler that was there ...
And they all collectively looked after him. Hated that they fully blamed her like that. Like they don’t want her to parent them but when something goes wrong it’s her fault

maybe im wrong but a lot of what Fiona did was things that in turn hurt not only her but her family, while what the others did were stuff that mostly affected them individually she didn’t have to take care of them she chose to like when debs got pregnant Fiona refused to help her but debs wanted support and love and had to kinda do it alone and Fiona’s breakdowns were always about situations she got herself into like dumb dating dumb immature men who got her into trouble and everyone always had to support her no questions asked even tho it was her choices that got her there

OK I swear the thing that pisses me off the most is that Fiona gave up so much to take care of them and every time the smallest thing happened they would blame her but then always come back expecting her to like fully take care of them all over again as if they hadn’t done anything wrong. I've seen a lot of bad movies, and a lot of great movies! This video was really well edited and your use of background music was so well done. Women are so hard to portray because we're often a mystery to ourselves. It gets easier as you get older. The fear, anger and worry you feel in your 20s often turns to concern, trust in yourself, and love. I really like how you mixed the fear and anxiety of being a young women with mothers and mature women -- it's hard to transition between them, especially out of context. If you're in school for film or editing, you're doing a great job! This video shows you have a great understanding of it.

while i like coquette-core, lana del rey's persona throughout her "born to die" and "ultraviolence" eras, and ethel cain's persona throughout her "preacher's daughter" story/album, and more femme-fatale characters i'm failing to mention... it's uncomfortable that we're classifying "feminine rage" into an aesthetic, continuing to make ourselves more easily digestible. we're also absolving ourselves of any uniqueness through this grand-scale relatability (online), and the hyper-specification of it all. nothing is original anymore.
i'm so appreciative that intersectional feminism has shone light onto the deep-seated, overwhelming, suffocative rage that women harbor; driving the popularity of this aesthetic... but i also wish that mental illness in women-- triggered by the comprehension that this world isn't ruled nor made for us-- wasn't so sugar-coated, neatly packaged with flowers and frills. i think we choke on the bitterness of our rage enough, being stifled by the patriarchal systems that perpetually hinder our full autonomy.
while it's relieving to unify with other women who resonate with this concept... i also think being an angry woman isn't something to admire, but something to fear. our ravenous hunger for power and the depth of our universal rage is just as ugly and terrifying as the men who planted it.
i hope this makes sense. i'm just very torn on the subject.

Yes! I believe that when it comes to love, women do it better than men by literally submitting their everything into nurturing the thing they adore most. Hence, when it comes to hate and revenge, women take on this extreme evil level as they voluntarily dismiss their innate nature of caring and loving others to put on a persona that manipulates and tortures those they despise. And so, female rage is nothing to celebrate...in fact no gender's rage and anger should be made into an aesthetic! If you want to glamorize your temper issues, feel free to do so in an asylum with the rest of your kind.

very well put, I also had mixed feelings about this video and came to the comments looking for someone who could articulate what was bothering me. Rue having a relapse-fueled breakdown and railing against everyone she knows shouldn't be put in the same category as that iconic scene from hidden figures. One of those is a heartbreaking story about a drug addict and one is actually very relevant to the subject of the video. Just because Rue is a girl in a scene who is angry doesn't mean she should be here. Female rage is NOT an aesthetic and fetishizing it is just one more way we downplay and box in our very real, complicated emotions by making them safe, convenient, and well-trimmed.
i think the most chilling one was the clip at around the 3:00 mark where the guy yells "what is wrong with you?' and the woman goes "okay. bye." and walks away. like wait i need to know more about what is going on there!

I had al ways hated how female rage is represented, how in tough situations they would break and start crying looking for a man to handle the situation. I just love when women feel rage and handle it themselves whether they rage first then become cold, calculating or the other way around like it is for me I feel rage but I suppress it, I’m cold and calculating until I explode or perfectly execute my vengeance. It tests my patience to do that but the longest I’ve gone planning something is 6 years and counting the fall out will be epic.

Honestly I completely agree with female rage being empowering and something that should be accepted the same as male rage, but with abuse such as Rue's to Fez its not quite the same. Abuse and emotional manipulation is still abuse, regardless of gender. True equality is recognising that men and women should be able to openly feel and display their emotions, and these emotions should be accepted unless they are abusive and harmful.

Fiona is one of my favorite characters in Shameless because just like everybody else in the show. She’s a flaw human being who has done bad things and make mistakes. But at the same time she has every right to be angry and pissed off at the world. I remember when her mother spend all the money and almost got Carl killed. Fiona straight up loses it and yells out in frustration. You feel her angry towards her mother and how she can’t even leave her family for one day unless one of them starts trouble. Another best moment was when Fiona yells at Frank and made him cry.
Can people stoooop putting rue in these, just because she plays the angry emotion really well doesn't mean its a good depiction of female rage. She's an addict going through withdrawals and destroying the relationships around her because of it. Its abusive behavior, not "female rage"

Rage is an emotion everyone can go through, in these clips these women are literally going through something important in their life to cause them to rage and break because of it. Everyone rages based on the situation or trauma, not the gender.
I recommend if you want to do another compilation, to add a scene of the movie: "Relatos Salvajes" (Damian Szifron), in the movie there is a story about a bride who founds out in her wedding day that ther husband is cheating with a guest at the party, and she goes on a crazy rage, and its over the top, but also realistic. Great video!

I would argue that the biggest difference between male and female rage is that male rage is often portrayed as pure rage while female rage is often indulged with other emotions such as sadness or grief that the rage comes with. Its portrayed the way that when female gets mad most of the time they would end up crying.
This is another angle to the discussion as I agreed that we often see female rage is repressed and not explosive as men. However, to decide whether the representation is correct or not, I would say it wouldnt conclude with a white and black answer since it is true that female does have the societal pressure to repressed their anger and control their emotions better than men. But it would be nice to see a representation where the female character does not hold back and follows their instinct on the spot instead of taking revenge later on.
I just love the intensity of emotions. The depths of emotional hurts.

Men's rage is terrifying because how they express it is by hitting stuff, breaking things or even hurting people, and it's caused by deep-down depression. Women's anger is terrifying as well, yet it was caused by passion, pain, and they expressed it by yelling.
And women’s is bottled up so much that we break down and hurt the ones we love most

Anyone ever been so enraged by someone’s actions that you imagine hurting them like a rag doll? With the screams and all? It actually calms me down for instance.
Realistic female anger is often red-faced tears and silence because we e been conditioned to be quiet our whole lives. I don’t know many women who yell. But I know a LOT of women who get quiet and slowly release their anger over YEARS. Because an “angry woman” is still not taken seriously and is often classified as “hysterical” or “on your period” or “emotional.”
This is what’s crazy about that argument that everything will be better when men can finally “be allowed” to be emotional. It’s BOTH genders that need to allow themselves to feel and express more and in healthy ways. Women are allowed to cry, yes, but there’s a line in there that keeps us from crying too much.
Because if we cry too much, we get less respect. So this “screaming rage” I’ve only seen happen a few times with women. It’s more likely to be quiet rage slowly coming out in petty ways over years while men hold all their emotions down so far they don’t know how to be angry anymore, they only know how to disappear and then explode when they get shook up too much.

I will always be angry for what they did. My anger eats me alive and I try hard to not feel it but it’s my entire being. I don’t want to be hateful but I am so hateful and angry.
Vent it out somewhere safe. Shoving it down will prob end up with you doing something youll feel extremely bad abt for a long time. You could write in a journal, punch a bag or a pilliow, scream, go to a dump and just destroy shit. Igwym though, its hard when you hate the feeling of being angry.

I just wanted to note that in the clips the females rage is caused by a buildup of anger and moments that they have been forced to supress, thats why their so angry. Sociaey often forces women to supress our anger so we are not portrayed as hysterical or emotional, but often we reach braking points and i think actual rage should be protrayed more in woman in meda, not the kinda of supressed, calculated rage that pple have been calling female rage.

Am i the only one who sees fiona Gallaghers anger as not really female rage, but that of the mentally exhausted first born. Like i can imagine the exact same thing happening to lip and ian had they been born first. Especially ian.
In my opinion, Male rage is not just anger it can be any other things, it's not just women.

I feel that the way we women express rage is stems from the way we are raised. We are taught to stay composed and not result to physical anger or physical anything. We are pushed away from things like fighting and sports yet people wonder why girls don't try in gym class. It's because we were taught that wasn't for us, that we should just watch from the sidelines and shouldn't take action. We have been deterred and discouraged from engaging in anything like that, that many figure what's the point? We will he ridiculed whether we try or not? Men expect us to not try but get mad when we don't. Doesn't make sense.
In addition to this, because we are discouraged from expressing anger physically we have found a way to navigate it pyschologically. Instead of physical warfare, punching holes in walls, throwing tantrums, hitting, it's pyschological. Playing mind games, trapping our enemies in impossible mazes and just generally using our brains to get what we want. From and early age we've had to be intelligent in the ways of seduction and enticement. We've had to figure out to get what we want without getting it ourselves because we've been taught not to. Girls continue to see on TV that when you're pretty and when your this and that and play mind games you can get what you want so the grow up thinking that's the way to live. Instead of getting angry physically we've had to figure out a way to express anger and get revenge mentally and that's something men are speaking about more and more.
They get angry and throw a tantrum on the floor like Nate or punch a whole in the wall or fight someone. They are allowed to act a fool and us women are taught to be caretakers and comfort and console them after they calm down. This leads to women being in abusive relationships thinking it's her job to take care of the man and it's okay if he hits me or act a fool cuz he's a guy and that's what they do. That was demonstrated in the Scarjo film.
Ontop of it all we are always silenced and interuppted to the point where we often choose not speak at all. But are always thinking.
Not all women are like this since everyone is different. I myself am a tomboy in both appearance, personality and mentality and over the years have been developing a more masculine and simpler outlook and reaction to things but I still understand the depth behind why women are the wat we are and still share the same trauma even if I might more incline to hit or break something rather than play games.
All in all, there are multiple factors for how we express rage and this video only showed a little piece of that. I pray that going further into the future we can raise both our daughters and sons to more healthily express rage. Give them equal opportunity to express it both mentally and physically. When you get mad and want to hit something there is nothing wrong with that but it's important we give the resources needed to channel that into something say a sport for example. Give them a punching bag or large stuffed animal. Raise future generations of girls so that they won't have to play pyschological warfare or anyone else or themselves. If we do this going forward we can surely turn things around.

I think true feminity isn't actually real, because many woman have different lifestyles and cultures, perspectives, conditions, etc, Lana music is obviously targeted towards woman, but she isn't the peak of feminity bc every girl happens to live a different kind of feminity which may be very more like lana del rey music or may not too, and all of them are valid, sorry if my comment might sound offensive it's not my intention, i'm a woman and i don't relate a lot with lana music even though i like listening to her, she's lovely, i just came with this observation with the description, anyways, i loved your video!
