    Would be a better video without the dramatic music and the out of focus shots.

    My laptop acer v3-471g started to feel unconfortable beacause on the part if the touchpad its gets slight hot and extremely hot when playing games i suspect the chipset with passive cooling, the problem started about a week ago it is not the bios update problem because i update the bios after two days after the problem occur... is there any way to make that chip cooler, the passive heatsink is replaced with a thermal pad but same problem.or is it the memory card problem cause i have two different brands of memory card one with that came when i bought the laptop and the other is crucial

    Good work!!! but i need your help in somethings,what is the temperature of the hot air for welding the balls to the chip? thanks you advanced

    • @baksiukas28
      @baksiukas28 8 років тому

      Hello, thanks!
      It's hard to tell because it depends on the size of the balls and chip, I used approximately 160 degrees and low air pressure.
      You do have to monitor how the balls stick to the chip though.
      It's all down to practicing... A lot

    What's the maximum safe temperature for avoiding northbrigde problems??

    • @kylelafountaine8164
      @kylelafountaine8164 8 років тому

      Generally I use 80 but it mostly depends on the chips specs.

      +Kyle LaFountaine is safe the temp of 69-70°C for the nforce4? 'cuz i have an old pc that had lost it's fan from the radiator and it had(and still has) the same temps. that fan didn't do a thing.

    • @kylelafountaine8164
      @kylelafountaine8164 8 років тому

      Florinel787 While it will run safely (Assuming that temp is at full load) I still suggest getting some sort of air flow over the heatsink as the nforce chipsets, in my experience, tend to be a bit more sensitive to the thermals than Intel's. Whats the motherboard model? One thing I highly suggest is replacing the thermal compound under the heatsink as those chips tend to run hot and they tend to have crappy silicon like compound from the factory.

      +Kyle LaFountaine it's a msi k8n-neo3 mobo and i replaced the thermal paste recently and since that fan broke, i took a fan from an old amd cooler and put it so it can cool the radiator, but still that temp range...
