    If you disconnect the screen from the motherboard the HDMI output will work before Windows loads. Well done Sorin this is a harder than it looks. Biggest challenge is getting a working chip.

    Nice job, Sorin ..but how do you manage to heat up the board so high from behind (on the spot) without being afraid that the components will fall down (a few resistors etc. could be seen there). And: do you have a jig to put the board on or do you have a table with a big hole that you blow the hot air stream through? During the soldering process you always only watch the board from above - how do you control the airflow from below at the same time when you have to be sure that it hits exactly where you want it? Well, soo many questions :)

    Great video as always. Just a question, you stated that a cpu chipset can’t fail catastrophically at 1v. I was curious about the type of power a cpu requires to get so hot and came across a data sheet that indicates that pentium i5,7,9 use upwards of 140W@1.1V… that’s almost 140 amps. It even states this amperage on the data sheet. I’m still learning all this and that just sounds bonkers to me. Granted, it’s 1v but 140 amps?? Please explain… thanks

    • @petartomic9783
      @petartomic9783 Рік тому +2

      Yes. That is why you need a heatsink over and active fan.

    • @fabian11235
      @fabian11235 Рік тому +1

      I am not 100% on this, I am still learning. But usually electrical components don't draw more amperage than they need. They got an internal resistance so its basic ohms law. The pch runs somewhere at 1V. There is simply only so much current that gets pushed through. So nowhere close to those 140A that would be available, only a fraction. At 19V its a different story the "pressure" of the Voltage forces much more current in than it can handle. The delicate internal circuits overheat and short out.
      Just some random numbers lets say the pch is 4 Ohms then at 1V you'd get 0.25 Amps so merely 0.25W. At 19V you suddenly get 4.75A which would be 90 Watts.

    • @ariewijaya1679

      Huge mistake if you try to run WIN PE on an open computer you will burn the processor instead!!! Especially that a heatsink must be installed + cooling paste + some of the heatsinks cool additional chips
      Some Asus laptops also some from other manufacturers have the same phenomenon. When you enter the bios, the processor runs at 60%-80%, a kind of internal test for the processor. You can monitor fans that work at high RPM... only after you have assembled the computer and placed it on legs at a height where there are ventilation openings from below... after that, run a test.
