Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited we are doing the WORLD Debut of an AMAZING New Motorhome from Entegra Coach! This is the ALL NEW LIMITED EDITION Odyssey SE 22C! This is a BRAND New Motorhome with a slide out room ON SUPER SPECIAL for only $79,995! What I love about this motorhome is the size and price! It really is the best entry level motorhome that is small and easy to drive! Something else I love about it is that even though it is small it is still Entegra so it kicks but! Now we only have a few of these at this price and that sits on the Chevy Chassis so make sure you guys ACT FAST!
I will take for $59999 , lets go guys , ready to buy one .
I love the double sink because one side for washing in the other side of a drying it's perfect
I enjoy the Chevy Ride. It’s more comfortable. The above sleeping are hadn’t got a place to leak. Thumbs up!
This is very similar to our Jayco 2020 22C SE. ours has the 6.0 L V-8 which is plenty of power. Our Cargo Carrying Capacity is a little over 4000 lbs. We bought it new and have put around 27,000 miles on it. We like it!
Looks like a rebadged Jayco Redhawk SE 22C (I have one) and you keep getting the engine wrong on the GM chassis.
It’s a 6.6L that replaced the 6.0L for the 2020 model year and it puts out more power and torque than the 7.3L Ford in the E-450 chassis.
There’s nothing wrong with the GM chassis at all and I’m very happy with the one I’ve got.
I agree on the double sink and my other is.....I am not a fan of slide outs. Other than that I really like this for the price.
I agree with Andrea. The valances are tacky. No windshield in the BOC?? Too bad. No counter space in the kitchen. It makes the RV look like an entry model 'rental' and the price confirms it. Good deal.
7.3L i think is the ford chassis? which I think no way you get for 79k. That ford chassis adds a heck of a premium to the price-tag. I actually hate that everybody is going to the ford chassis. Ever since they started putting a real screein into the chevy chassis, there is no real reason to get the ford. the 7.3 is absolutely not worth the 20k price jump.
Cats straps go on the catalytic converter. It's steel cables that will make it almost impossible to cut thru and steal the converter. The company makes an alarm as well. Izzy and MJ did a great piece on them
Matt, prior to C-19, you could get this exact one slide RV & Chevy chassis, (24-26 foot) for only $59,999-$64,999 at RV show pricing or at certain RV lot’s running specials for similar Thor owned camper brands like this one since Thor owns Entegra.
I think these very basic entry level one slide Chevy chassis class c campers are just not that different from their competitors under the same Thor ownership. Is $79,999 as good as it gets now, just 3-4 years later? Inflation Sucks!
I wonder what a gently used 2019 Class C similar to this one now sells for when it was originally purchased for $59,999? Would it sell for 20%-25% off the original price it sold for, around $43K-$47K or less? Or has inflation really increased the newer used prices as well?
On Point current problem...in both options I bet..
Prior inflation you mean...
@@williamjktkdwe have 8% inflation from 2019, not 30% inflation. These RVs have gone up in price 30-50%. It's a cash grab.
@@ChuckTownRC51 At 8+% interest rate it has to be cash grab. It would be insane to finance at these increasing rates.
October is best time to get end of year deals.
@@davidmears1705 The biggest difference between the Ford and the Chevy chassis is the Ford carries 2000 extra pounds which is an extra ton of weight. It’s not like the Chevy doesn’t have enough power to pull it. It’s more down to the Chevys frame isn’t thick enough to support the weight.
One thing that I've Never Seen Matt Slip on the Ladders or the roofs. Andrea should not be too worried.
There is a local RV dealer that I went to in early 2019 that was selling a small RV under 60k now its 90k, nooooo thanks, IMO way overpriced . You guys always make great videos thank's
I may be the oddball here but I like when there's no windows in the bunk over. I LOVE the windows but many older C's windows leaked at some point, it seems, so I've developed a fear of them.
Any and every window is prone to water intrusion with time. I fully agree with you.
Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review! Cute little rig! Love the price! Don't care for no windows in the over cab bunk area! Good inside storage but needs lighter colored cabinets for me! Keep on keepin on!
I LOVE this RV! I really miss the window over the cab. It's one of my favorite things about Entegra. I also wish the window over the dinette opened more fully. I like to boondock and airflow is very important to me.
Very nice! 👍🤘Thank you! Thank you!🔶️🔸️🤍🧡🧡🤎🧡🧡🤍🔸️🔶️
That's really nice, for a small motorhome! i wonder if the dinette could be swapped out for a couple of theater chairs and a pedestal table? i think the cabinet color is a bit too dark. Andrea is right, the sink is too big, should be half that size. especially without a counter extention.
Either you omitted saying it or I didn’t hear it? Where do you put in the gas. I love that it doesn’t have the step up on the house floor. I would cut the mattress T the fold and never put the slide out. I fear a slide breaking and I think that the bed will still be long enough for me and with my tiny dog. It doesn’t have Enron though or whatever it is called to stop delamination. I like the lighter cabinets though as well. I love the price. I prefer not having a window in the front of the overhead because of breakage from flying debris.
I don't mind the valances but could you install an L shape dinette and have covers for the sink to give at least a little counter space?
Hi Matt and Andrea! Love this Entegra! Love the bedroom and wardrobe space, and the pantry. Like bunk over the cab.
Don’t the blinds and no counter space. Other than that it’s all good! It’s a great Entegra! Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Love the dinette! Better for eating together, drinking together and games together. Just a few of the many things I love about RV life!
Loves...the L trim over gas burners, a real range hood,, the real cupboard storage openings...the split at feet on bed you can walk around easily to bed and real night stand ledges with nice fresh air windows at side and real headboard...the swivel and tv probably really good, the shower and real medicine cabinet and choice trim again..the flat floor and no carpet and a real range hood..I do not even have that in my house..gripe gripe....one big main storage and 2 small for outside kitchen stuff and tools to stay organized on outside. In small rv's you are not taking the "kitchen sink" well a great one is fixed in there lol, an excellent clothes and kitchen storage cabinet..the room you have in aisle to put your comfy antigravity chair for inside and outside when traveling solo. The price point for a lot of little extras....and you have 2 places to sleep if you can not put slide in. The price point rocks and having something NEW and current at that price!!.....
Would likes: front passenger to swivel and have some kind of table work/eat thing that plugs in there so with a no spare sitting area a couple can each have a work/sleep/rainy day project area. , a pop up on kitchen counter to go in front of and clear door, a porcelain potty, like the sink for really washing dishes and for having a wash and food prep side inbetween washing...But come with one sink cover/cutingboard and pop up...hide that small inbetween dirty dish deal. This is a truth for me..I want 25 feet for one park...I want a fancy A for some parks however this has the most best use and that will have to be another time or rental.
The best and most use is this size and length for me and when a full C especially..I just think this size almost matches the wondrous Diesel van or B plus would likes but have real worries about what they can do up steep western US roads etc, and what they do in wind and while I love front window in my neck of woods..current nice windows much better with the darn long cold months and lasting with a cover even in storage.......
What a bargain! If it wasn't for the PPP it'd be nearly perfect! Those 14 are gonna go fast. I'm glad Entegra is making "entry level" RVs at this price point w/o sacrificing decent quality. Thanks, y'all! 👍
What we love about this rig is that there's no vent or windows/windshield over the cab. Less holes in the sides and roof, the less that can leak. Windows and vents are notorious opportunities for leaks. The space also becomes more versatile, like for storing stuff.
I thought you were going to break out in your best Sesame Street The Count voice… three drawers … ahahah lol
Thinks it’s still to pricy. Yes about replacing back the forward over cab window.
It's nice that there is variety for everyone's needs. But I don't like this one because of the slide and the folding bed. I don't like folding or Murphy beds. I also agree with Andrea on the valances, "not approved".
I like this RV for the size and dinette which allows for forward facing seating for children.
Needs a frosted skylight up front, more light up front
Ty sir. I’m retired and maybe I am naive, but I cannot believe the prices on some of these things. Damn, the entry on some on these small rv’s is more than my house. Don’t get me wrong, I can afford it but is it really worth it?
Is it worth it that is the question. When you factor in resale, roof leaks, slide leaks, mold/Rot,slide maintenance repairs ,over expensive resealing (yearly) or fixing factory mistakes. Plus upgrading to boon dock.
Those Oliver travel trailers look good starting at $59,000 four seasons No mold or rot ever, no leaks No slides built like a boat. High resale.
I wish there was a Motorhome version with dry bath. Don’t like unhitch and hitch plus needing a tow vehicle. All in one package is better in long run.
#1 motor home problems are roof leaks (substandard materials used that aren’t waterproof or one piece.
# Don’t buy slides they all leak and cost tons in maintenance.
Rv industry needs to build these motorhomes more like boats exposure to water is definitely gonna happen. Everything should be waterproof with at least a 10 year maintenance free warranty.
Great review as always. Though there are no windows, I like the vertical space in the over the cab bunk.
I’m really liking this one! It’s closer to my 2001 Dynamax Starflyte on a Chevy. Love the chassis
Nice outfit Andrea and I like how you always get the CCC 👍
Thanks so much 🤗
Nice RV floor plan. I would be willing to wait for the E450 chassis if I were in a position to buy an RV. 😊
I do not like dark vinyl, dark wood, dark anything. Bright white mixed with light beige or Grey's make the RV look more high end. Good price.
Screw the color it's more about the price the type of engine and how reliable it is I rather have a new one strip down with no authority at all on it and pay the high price of the cardboard doors
Rather have theater seats or even couch instead of dinette. Also i would like a stove.
Yes that dinette ruins the whole thing. They are absurd
I'd take out that double sink, and just have one (but larger) and that would give me some counter space!!!! Also install a flip-up counter extender beside the sink. Again.. counter space. Andrea... looking good! Okay, back to the RV... quick fix to the bathroom. Take out the sink!!! You can install a narrow cupboard, and use the sink in the kitchen to wash up. You'd get a LOT more space in the bathroom.
First one I’ve seen that size with a permanent dinette! All the others I’ve seen of this type so far, you have to “build” a table, essentially. Who wants to have to do that each time you are eating, or sitting down to work on your laptop or whatever? 👍
For $80K this is a reasonable small motor home.
Too small for me but this is 1/2 the price ( or less) of a B plus.
I agree with Andrea: why have a double sink and no counter space.
I dislike the shades. Don’t like the flip up bed but in this coach, I’d go for it.
Great interior storage. Decent size bathroom. I like the extra legroom on the Chevy chassis.
Thank you for another fine video
Keep holding off guys. Prices will keep going down. Let the feds raise rates again tomorrow. 05-03-2023
This proved correct!
Womp! Womp! Womp! Womp! Another backbreaking dinette! The lack of a sofa or theater seating option is mind boggling😢
You can get a 25% discount on most RV's. The dealers are loaded with inventory. Some still have 2022's on ground, with 2023's and the 2024's are on the way. Some manufactures have already started adding incentives, up to $10k on slower moving 2022/2023 models. Smart dealers will unload their inventory before it gets worse. Add to that that the used market inventory is increasing prices for new and used will drop even further. Right now dealers are offering 8% interest rates which increases the cost to finance. 1% adds about $25-$30 per month to the payment.
My advice would be to wait until next year to buy.
Nice for the price...but is the bed really only 70" long per the floorplan?
Why don’t these bedroom slide units make the mattress usable while slide is in?? The matters should be positioned like a futon couch. Why can’t you sit on the lower fold and have the upper as a backrest? Lay down on the sofa? Can you not do this?
I'm in ❤ with this Motorhome. It's Not Too BIG ❤❤❤
2 Things I'd change though, are:
1. The Front Bed able to Drop Down, for more Room,
2. I'd Rather Bunk Beds in the Rear, cause it'll be able to use with the Slides in.
That Price Is FANTASTIC 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Dislikes: the fold up bed (Rather have a twin bed and no slide...lol), the limited outside storage, and the plastic toilet. Likes: Lots of inside storage even if it is small, it's solar prepped, and the cab-over bunk can hold a lot of weight. I also like that it does NOT have the big window in the bunk. Every time I see one of those windows I think about what it would cost to replace one if a rock hit it and the fact that the window frame will probably start to leak at some point. The price is awesome and two years ago I would have jumped on it for that price. But I bought a new truck in 2021 so now I'm looking for a towable instead.
I agree with Andrea, why two sinks and that toilet near the door is dumb.
When you first walked in, I had already denied the valances 😂👍 I do not like the double sinks, the slide out, or the shower door. I like the pantry and the convection oven (since there is no oven).
Needs shelves in the storage cabinets. Why don't the manufactures do this? No curtain for over the cab bed.
At home I have a double sink and one is basically The dirty sink and the other one is the clean sync
Always start with the interior because if we dont like the interior the exterior means nothing.
He again is super excited.
Love you guys and great video....
Don’t care for the bathroom and hate the bed situation. Honestly I do feel this should be less. Hardly any outside storage no solar and on a chevy. Even cabinets look cheap. Oh and hate tv placement . I agree the blinds are cheap. Hate valances. But I love you guys! Sorry can’t get excited about this one.
The interior height is great!
Hey Matt!! Could you start showing the full range of motion of the tvs that are mounted?
Yes I will start doing this!
I like the Chevy motor home I am a first responder 2023that is nice so I am wondering what would an RV place do for a first responder liking the Chevy 2023
Hey Matt, Yes probably too much money at that price but not bad. Anyway you are telling people about the Ford chassis is $20,000 more. People are looking for price. Inflation is at an all time high. People just can't do it anymore. We have a 2010 Winnebago Journey 40T. We are keeping it. The prices are out of CONTROL today. Forget it!
It’s small enough for me but I kinda want a love seat than dining table.
Big advantage for tall guys, the Chevy cab! Big disadvantage for tall guys, 70" mattress! Seriously?
I could definitely make this work for myself!
I like it I wish I could have it
To each their own decision. However I would highly recommend to stay away from slide outs. They are notorious for failures and are extremely expensive to fix. And have left countless people stranded. If you feel you must get an RV with a slide out or slide outs make absolutely certain that you get an extended warranty on them that actually covers them entirely meaning all parts and service. The warranty should cover you for at least 10 years. If the dealer is not willing to do this. I can almost guarantee you will have very expensive problems with the slide out or slide outs. Not just with the electronics and the Motors of the slide out but the tracks as well including the hardware. Sometimes they fail so severely they actually total the RV structure. Even brand new they are already known to have major problems. And that goes for almost all manufacturers.
Sad to hear that Entegra is going back to the Ford F450 on this one. I'm a little bigger than Wil and cannot sit in the F450 cab to drive. Chevy gives me a little more leg and head room so I can drive those.
Would love to have one of these but alas, I picked up Andrea's favourite - the Bounder 35K Anniversary Edition - a couple of years ago.
Love your reviews. Keep up the great work.
I’d prefer the slide be in the dinette area for more living space instead of the folding bed. It’s ok.
Wawawa, no oven, hay Matt, can you have an oven put in if you want one??? But a cute little rig.!! Great job guys!!!!
I think the GM V8 is better for this aplication. The Ford V10 makes power too high in the RPM range. And its a direct fuel injection...
The overcab needs not only the trademark window, it also needs side windows, otherwise you’ll be sleeping in a cave!
And I too would swap out the plastic toilet for a porcelain one. To me, and not just because of Matt, a plastic John is TACKY! Also the position sucks…..
They should have put the bathroom in the back, so you wouldn’t need a flippy bed in the slide out….
Everything else looks good….
Interesting video guys
That's a great discount
OK Matt, I am tuned in!
Id pay $50k tops for that. Anything over that im buying land and building a house.
$79,995 USD not a bad price. Guaranteed that price for that motorhome in Canada would be well over $100,000 unfortunately. Still it’s a nice little unit I wouldn’t mind having one.
I like Andrea's outfit today.😊
Thanks so much 🤗
I like this RV I wish it had the big outside storage for chairs, grills etc. Seems this is a Chevy can you get On Star. I love my On Star
Awesome RV for the size but price could be even lower...😮 😊
I don't need to buy any motor home fast. By the end of 2023 we will be in full recession and RV lots will be full and already full. Now the dealers are slow to understand the good old days have come to an end.
You bet. I'm waiting for it and I have time.
Stop using fake leather on the seats! Use a solid color polyester or synthetic that will last for years. Everyone knows it’s not real leather and the seats are what shows deterioration and cheapness first.
Nothing different except the closet/pantry combo. I do not like dark cabinets or the green dinette seats - so 70s.
👍 Nice price.
Unfortunately this thing will lose half its value after you drive off the lot.
Idkn guys the quality isn’t there maybe for $60k
no oven? what about the upgrade ? im interested
Only 80k?? Lol that’s crazy. Prices are outrageous.
Lol!! We did do that ha!!!❤
Can you get liquid springs on a class C?
People crack me up complaining about no counter space there's a giant table literally right behind you. I'd rather have the double sink then 10 inches of space
What a deal. Dislikes: no external tv, twisty storage door locks, only a dinette for seating, plastic shower door (deal breaker), cheap blinds, Likes: warrenty, ccc.
Nicer sink than I thought
No Azdel? Don't care for the TPO roof, lack of access to large outside storage area from 2 doors (because of the ladder), no side window in overhead bunk, double sink. Like reclining driver seat, spacious driver/passenger area, 2 way fridge.
Can you opt out the dinette and put a theater seating? Then you got us!
What's your best number on that interior by WALMART camper?
Email me and I’ll send it
Give Walmart time, they’ll come out with an RV! They already sell coffins! For real! Check it!
Matt, I need your energy.
Can it toe a trailer? I
Am moving from one state to another. Oh Only 5 thousand Lbs. Well better than nothing.
This would be perfect for my little family. I think we are waiting til 2025 to buy a camper or RV though.
GREAT double sink, needs countertop extension. Why is the cable hookup secured behind a door but not potable water? Wrong priorities. LOVE the fridge size!! Great bathroom!! Yeah, put a real toilet. I need to clean it and plastic looks gross quickly.
i love it. i dont like the bedroom slide out. i would rather have no room on the sides and a smaller bed than to have a pull out
Motor homes are expensive and made cheap. Best to get a used ambulance and build a camper. They never have what you really want in them. And the quality sucks.
Don’t understand why Entegra would make this. Why not leave this to Jayco or Thor. Entegra is known for the higherend quality or so I thought. 😂
On a positive note for the price this could be a B van killer.
What happened to 5 and 10 year warranties???
RVs need to have consumer protection the same as cars and trucks. If builders think the junk they are building is good then warranty it! If people stop buying things would improve. I would never buy this model. Don't do it. This industry needs an overhaul. We are going to have an economy crash and correction. We actually need this to happen.
That slide out is not very deep. Just leave the bed down and slide it in. I bet it just compresses a couple of inches.
Matt trying to hype up this overpriced RV. This looks so outdated from the front that I first thought this was from 2016/17. Anyone in the market for RVs now, should wait and watch for 4-6 months. The inventory all over is starting to pile up and it won’t be long before dealerships start selling at discounted prices.
Exactly right, and learn how to fix whatever breaks yourself because quality and caring about constructing correctly is a thing of the past unfortunately.
Are they gone yet? Love these wheels!
