I used to have this problem lmao, I found that it helps to switch where you put your alarm clock or phone every couple of weeks so your body doesn’t get too used to where it is
Frr! But I set it at 6:00 and I still live with my family so it’s hard to go back to sleep when you heard your other sibling getting whooped and yelled at so I have no choice but to wake up 😅

This is what works for me: I don‘t usually have a proper dinner, especially after 7 pm, so I wake up motivated enough to stand up right way and grab myself a breakfast 😂
Easy explanation of all of Faye's tips in this vid- -if you're addicted to your phone, then set an alarm a few minutes before your desired time to wake up and use your phone till the desired time. Example- If you want to wake up at 9am you can set an alarm for 8:45 am and use your phone till 9am. Slowly replace using your phone with healthier habits like reading. -use triggers that will help you wake up early like using a specific alarm tone for waking up, leaving the curtains open so that light can come inside in the morning when you wake up. -ask yourself what you want to accomplish when you wake up and how you are going to accomplish it. -if you want to sleep early, then you will have to completely shift everything in your life and do it early like you will have to have dinner earlier, shower earlier etc. just to sleep earlier -tell others that you are a morning person. It will help you to actually become a morning person.
10:53 that's exactly what I am doing these. Even when I don't, I always tell my friends that I wake up and study in the morning (I actually do, but not much). The reason why I'm willing to wake up early at 4AM consistently every day is because: 1. The dead silence of 4AM making studying a lot faster and easier. 2. I'm a senior uni student and I have a part-time job plus I'm trying to learn an income skill at the same time so waking up early gives me more time to do the things I enjoy (Thank you Faye for your "How to wake up at 4AM" video!) 3. I live with my family and they start their morning routine at around 6AM which can make a lot of noise around the house, avoiding that time to study is GOLDEN. i usually wake up at 1:30 or 2:00 pm but now i wish i can wake up at 8:00 or 9:00 am well this bad sleeping schedule was because We Are IN Ramadan and we fast for 14 hours so i thought that I will be tired if i waked up early so i started waking up so late i used to wake up at 10:00 or 11:00 but that was a horrible mistake and now i am learning how to start to wake up early again THX for reading:)

the staying in bed reading for a while before getting out of bed might be genius advice. Maybe its not that we want to continue to sleep. we just want the comfort and warmth. i will try this, being careful of not falling asleep. i ignored the potential of this when trying eeeverything possible i would still get up, turn off alarm and go back to bed and sleep till 12pm :') but there it is, my body was annoying off the drastic change, i just need to be awake reading from here streching in my sheets and breathing before getting up :-)

I used to sleep at 10.15ish and wake up at six without even thinking about it but my mum (bless her soul) told me that I really needed to sleep more especially during vacation cuz I was still tired but that put my sleep out of balance. Even though I slept for 12 hours today, I am surprised to not feel groggy. I feel good

I really want to include the following activities in my schedule/timetable but not able to 1.Enough time for Self-study 2.Tuition 3.hobbies/Extra-curriculars 4.Take a walk/Spent time with friends 5.Self-care/Reading books/Journalling 6.1 hr for workout+Meditation 7.Separate time for HW/Assignments/other school stuff 8. 7-8 hours of sleep too! Something that I find useful is using apps that control my sleep cycle so I can wake up with no effort because the alarm wakes me up in my light sleep phase

I usually wake up at 10 and I would like to change that slowly but gradually to 6. I used your tip to keep track how many hours of sleep my body needs and it was mainly: -if I sleep 7 hours, I will feel sleepy the whole day and end up sleeping in the afternoon -8 hours is so-so, I feel okay but not really happy -9 hours is it for me, anything more than that is a BIG NO thank you sm for this video. listening to your first tip made me realise that during lockdown I used to wake up early just so I could watch this really interesting series and doing that again could work! ill update here

Just wanna add that using mobile just after waking up is not completely good because the dopamine you'll get after scrolling early in the morning will be high and if you wanna do something productive during the rest of the day (like studing) your brain will crave for the high level of dopamine you got in the morning (dopamine level decrease throughout the day)and you'll end up using your mobile again . So better to keep your alarm away from your bed so that you can get out of your bed without snoozing... Drink lukewarm water just after waking up... Go washroom and splash your face with cold water but don't use mobile phone .. Try to sleep early for walking up early. If you are a night owl your body clock is different from early birds so don't get motivated for waking up early the next day.. Go slow .. each day sleep 10-15min earlier than usual .. slowly your body clock will change and you'll be able to sleep early and wake up early. Atleast sleep 6.5-8.5hrs .. its possible if you reduce your screen time . Welcome

I used to sleep at 10.15ish and wake up at six without even thinking about it but my mum (bless her soul) told me that I really needed to sleep more especially during vacation cuz I was still tired but that put my sleep out of balance. Even though I slept for 12 hours today, I am surprised to not feel groggy. I feel good

@vscodium1751 it's actually not lol,students here who are 16 and 17 have to prepare for really tough exams which need a lot of preparation, it may vary from student to student but some students do study that much I myself have seen my cousin studying for 18-19 hours when he was going to give neet...

Can you pls make a video on after-school timetable. I struggle following my timetable. I don't know how to manage my time. I really want to include the following activities in my schedule/timetable but not able to
1.Enough time for Self-study
2.Tuition
3.hobbies/Extra-curriculars
4.Take a walk/Spent time with friends
5.Self-care/Reading books/Journalling
6.1 hr for workout+Meditation
7.Separate time for HW/Assignments/other school stuff
8. 7-8 hours of sleep too!
I have no idea how to fit these activities in my schedule. I don't know that how much time should I give to each activity. My time management skills are very poor, and I have already watched your video on it too. But I want your more guidance/tips on making timetable. And My question is that should I even make a timetable? Is it effective? It will be great if you can give us some type of reference.

Something that I find useful is using apps that control my sleep cycle so I can wake up with no effort because the alarm wakes me up in my light sleep phase

I usually wake up at 10 and I would like to change that slowly but gradually to 6. I used your tip to keep track how many hours of sleep my body needs and it was mainly:
-if I sleep 7 hours, I will feel sleepy the whole day and end up sleeping in the afternoon
-8 hours is so-so, I feel okay but not really happy
-9 hours is it for me, anything more than that is a BIG NO
thank you sm for this video. listening to your first tip made me realise that during lockdown I used to wake up early just so I could watch this really interesting series and doing that again could work! ill update here

- to read one chapter of a book im reading rn
- making myself a cup of green tea
- playing some music
- checking my messages/ to-do list/ notifications/ email
- opening blinds and window, then letting the air wake me up n have some time to mentally prepare for the day (I love when my mum wakes me up this way)
U know what i used to wake up 4 am and nowadays i am waking up 8 am and feeling terrible thank you faye u always come on time

Just wanna add that using mobile just after waking up is not completely good because the dopamine you'll get after scrolling early in the morning will be high and if you wanna do something productive during the rest of the day (like studing) your brain will crave for the high level of dopamine you got in the morning (dopamine level decrease throughout the day)and you'll end up using your mobile again .
So better to keep your alarm away from your bed so that you can get out of your bed without snoozing...
Drink lukewarm water just after waking up...
Go washroom and splash your face with cold water but don't use mobile phone ..
Try to sleep early for walking up early.
If you are a night owl your body clock is different from early birds so don't get motivated for waking up early the next day..
Go slow .. each day sleep 10-15min earlier than usual .. slowly your body clock will change and you'll be able to sleep early and wake up early.
Atleast sleep 6.5-8.5hrs .. its possible if you reduce your screen time .
