I’m truly excited about this bow. Traditionally I’ve always been a Hoyt fan. I’ve been watching all the videos on all the new bows for 2019 and was leaning towards yet another hoyt. What really did it for me was the ease of changing draw weight. Long story short in January of 2018 I had open heart surgery and had my rib cage ripped open. So getting back into the sport I truly love I know I need to start with low draw weights and work my way up to build those chest muscles back up.. like a gift from the heavens I feel this is the right bow for me. Without major work I can start at a 50lb draw and work my way back up there hopefully by the 2019 season. Great job Matthews I think this year I’ll be purchasing my first Matthews.. ( lol unless for the first time in my life I win something).
Very informative review, you are the only channel that touched on the draw weight system being adjustable just like any other bow, through the limb bolts and the draw weight mods. Not one review so far has explined it like you guys did, thank you. Common sense to some, but there are a lot of new shooters coming on here everyday to get answers like that. Keep up the good work.

2019 is an amazing year for archery all the bow co. Came out with real nice bows and new tecnologys the vertix rest mount , new handle and mods. Is a hot item noise and vibration unmatched great job Mathews and bhp thanks

My archery season is from August to December for deer. Traveling through blueberry bushes, devils club and Alder trees for spot and stalk on BlackTail. Carbon is extremely forgiving when it’s frosty out. But, I’d be willing to give my honest opinions about this beautiful piece of machinery. Thanks fellas, keep up the hard work.

I own the Z-max. I have successfully shot this bow since it came out (Many years ago) its time for me to move on. Lol. This is one impressive machine and I couldn’t think of of any other bow than a Mathews ..!! Great video...!!
