    I purchased this bow In December 2019 I think it's totally amazing! With a draw weight of 60 pounds I would never wish for anything else
    It has proved itself on the field

    I’ve shot bowtech since 2005, and I’ve had 8 bows since then. This will be my first Mathews, the 75lb module sold it for me.

    I truly love the format and the information furnished. The scenery is outstanding and the down to earth presentation is above and beyond what I look for in a show such as yours. So much can be learned and used even though I am not hunting elk like you are. Most of what I learn from you is used in my Whitetail deer hunting here in Pennsylvania. Thank you for time and appreciation for the viewers concern for the elk and habitat itself. Julian Weiant

    Could be wrong, but I’m fairly certain High Country did this way back in early 2000’s. They were also making some really fast and extremely light weight carbon bows - under 2.5lbs......

    • @galinswigart
      @galinswigart 5 років тому

      Tung Le I think mass weight of a bow is the least relevant bow spec to me. Once you kit a bow out with a full quiver, rest, stabilization, and a sight you end up adding nearly the weight of the bow itself anyway. What’s a half pound or a pound difference on a bare bow?

    • @TungLe-lv3on
      @TungLe-lv3on 5 років тому +1

      Galin. I fully appreciate your point! But when you’re 5’6 and weigh 140lbs like myself, a pound makes a big difference. And the weight of the stabiliser takes away the weight you have to hold. So yes a pound make huge difference to me when i have to hold at full draw for a few minutes.

    • @Mr99dm
      @Mr99dm 5 років тому +2

      @@TungLe-lv3on, how does adding a stab to your bow, take away the amount of weight you hold?

    • @chrisstrong2007
      @chrisstrong2007 5 років тому

      The thing about the Mathews Triax and Vertix is you dont need a stabilizer like you do with other bows. It is almost perfectly balanced. So offset your stab weight on your other bows and you have pretty much the same weight in the hand.

    I have to totally disagree with you about Mathews bows and their crosscentric cam nonsense. I've been tuning these overpriced "premium" bows for a few years now ans I gotta say they suck. Every one of them needs the tophats replaced to shift the cams. What's more, the tophats on the top cam aren't even the same spacing as the bottom cam. This means that the strings aren't parallel with the riser. At $5 for 1 tophat (which is what my local shop charges), I have to spend an extra $60 for a set of them, on top of the $1200 these "premium" bows cost?? GTFOH! These bows are also extremely top heavy, even without a sight mounted. The floating yoke system is also BS. I've had to make new stringsets for these bows, because their stock strings (on a "premium" bow) are the worst I have ever seen.
