That's how we do it also. Fish tacos are a big hit in my house.

Super cool! That looks delicious. I have yet to try eating a Wallaye.. might have to now. Especially when you say you eat the cheeks

Cheeks are the best part in my opinion. Cook'em the same way you'd do scallops. Pan seared with butter and salt. Delicious!

@@bearbonesfishing that’s incredible. I would not think to cook a cheek- I’ll for sure try it out! I’ll mention you in my video when I do 😅👏🏻

Thanks for the vid! Always thought about making fish tacos out of walleye and now I have a recipe. What kind of oil do you use? I found peanut oil to be the best especially when cooking a lot of filets. Remind me when we go out in the spring and I’ll give you a bottle of Salsa Huichol from Mexico. It’s what Mexicans eat with seafood and it is amazing.

Walleye is awesome in tacos! One of my favourite ways to eat it (good ol' fish and chips is #1). For frying, I used olive oil. Not the best choice for frying that's for sure, but it's all I had at the time.

Maybe a catch, clean, cook on the next canoe trip?

I guess using your outboard motor doesn’t spook the fish

Can't say it seems to have much of an effect.
