Thanks for the quick tut. I can also see using it for seascapes along with noise and create order for large waves and let the noise do the medium and smaller waves. Really nice addition to blender.
I've been browsing your videos a lot recently and they are supper helpful for a starter in 3d landscapes and such! i'm verry greatful for your content and it being free on top of everything!
aaahh no manches eres de Mex aweboooooo no habia visto bien tu AS, muchas gracias por el tutorial tus trabajos y tutos son geniales!! No sabes cuanto aprecio tus tutoriales en seriooo saludos!!
Of course you can convert a material displacement into real geometry. Just render as a displacement map. Then add a displace modifier to your object and plug in the map you rendered. Then apply the modifier and you will have a mesh.
Great video I was wondering if there there is like a way to add procedural vegetation like trees, bushes, etc on top off the all ready existing procedural terrain?
We have to do it manually, maybe use geometry nodes but using another mesh, and just place it where you want, or using landscape addon and create real geometry ua-cam.com/video/FOMmvspCcQk/v-deo.html
Carlos, estupendo como siempre! Muy afortunado de tener profesores tan buenos como tú!! Una pregunta: cambiaría mucho poner el Cycles en "supported" en lugar de "experimental"? ¿En qué se notaría? Un saludo

Amazing results, thanks for sharing this technique!
You're welcome, glad it was helpful!
this is promising,, with noise texture can give overwhelming results
thanks for the quick tut👍
Yeah, we can get really interesting shapes with these noise textures, I'm glad it was helpful!
That was awesome-!!

Muchas gracias Guillermo!
Brilliant bro!!
thanks
Thanks!
Very nice, thanks!
Glad It was useful
Please tell me how to add particles (hair) to such a surface taking into account the deformation of the surface.
What I did was, in a different mesh added the particles and place it in the scene, I added trees but using geometry nodes.

Interesting!, it can be a solution, I have to try, thanks.
@@chuckcgIf my instructions are not clear, there are UA-cam tutorials for it. Example: "Turn MATERIAL DISPLACEMENT into an OBJECT in Blender!" is one

Neat
Hello , do you know maybe how to create TINs mesh tiles terrain in Blender? Thank you in advance
Sorry, I don't know
Hello! Do you know how to turn on the extra add-ons for 4.3? I can't find it.
If you can't find an addon, go to preferences/Get extensions, download it first, then enable it in addons.
U know , it may be typed Color ,but it actually spelled Caler 😊
Still just want to be able to use blender procedural nodes in the displacement modifier...
Yeah me too!
my shift+d doesnt work
Strange!, first press and hold Shift then press D to duplicate
