    LOL As soon as you started to explain the symptoms I was saying the clutch needs adjusted. But I did learn something, because I am one of those people that would look at the ad and see "needs transmission work" and immediately pass on it. But now I will definitely think twice thanks to you good sir. I've had two of those bikes, a 2000 350 4x4, and a 2004 350 4x4 and they are absolute bullet proof tanks. Real good solid machines that will take anything you throw at them. It sounds like you and I are a lot alike when it comes to snorkels on machines, and the bike has to have the right looking tires.Another awesome video, and I'm happy you got a great buy. It makes me smile when good guys like yourself get awesome deals. Cheers!!

    TM, perhaps Two wheel drive Manual shift? Very rare up this way, the 4wd with electric shifts are everywhere and we get to diagnose transmission shift problems all the time. The 250 series is the Recon, a brother to the 250es but with different transmissions. No electric shift on the 250es. The 350 Rancher 4wd is much heavier and tougher to steer due to it's full time 4wd, that machine looked fairly nimble in comparison. Great show as always and thanks for showing the horses. Im back at the ranch and the shop this week and on light duty while I heal up. While I was feeding the new bull he let me pick burdocks off his head, and the horse I call the white devil let me pet him but then brushed me off with his nose to remind me who was in charge. Man, it's good to be back in action again, and to top it off, my latest {10x16} shed was delivered and installed on Wed. Who would have thought that a homeless guy with a bunch of bad habits, picking up a pair if 10 year sentences, could keep it together and move forward every day? I don't remember anyone giving good odds on it. Sorry to tie you up with a long comment but I've got to get myself in gear and head on down for more ranch fun. Take care.

      Thank you 71rode, i think people who buy and sell things get a bad rep sometimes because there are those who do cut corners and hide damage. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel.

      C'est vraiment un bel engin.
      Il est vraiment rare de faire des achats autant intéressants.
      Personnellement, je reste bloqué actuellement, depuis plusieurs mois, sur le réglage carburateur, de mon Honda ATC 200s de 1984.
      On vient de me conseiller de ne faire qu'un tour et demi, au lieu des deux tours, sur la vis de richesse.
      Actuellement, et depuis quelques temps, je souffre beaucoup de mes cervicales, totalement impuissant.

      @@tommybenezet chaque machine est différente, différents glucides, altitudes, températures météorologiques, 1,5 à 2 tours est un bon point de départ, vous devrez affiner votre machine pour ce qui fonctionne le mieux.

    • @tommybenezet
      @tommybenezet 10 місяців тому

      Je pensais que le réglage à minima était de deux tours, ou plus.
      Je croyais qu'à moins de deux tours, je risquais que mon moteur tourne trop pauvre, et risquais un serrage.
      Merci beaucoup de ton retour 😊

    How about chain and front sprocket replacement on a 1982/3 200E ? Thanks for reading this, because I know you do.

    • @mrcbuilds
      @mrcbuilds  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi Bob yes sir I read everyone.
      The 200e front sprocket is a job for sure. I have never done one but know people who have that are not mechanics, they used the online manual and got through it. The sub trans has to be removed. Id suggest to go slow and layout every part in the order you take it off and to take a lot of pictures along the way. You can do it!

    Anyone who thinks cleaning a machine to sell it and making it nice looking as possible shouldn’t be selling anything or at least should not expect to get top dollar. I personally do all the maintenance that I can on every machine I sell. If you wanna get all the money you can you have to leave nothing to the imagination and take away every excuse for buyer not to pull the trigger.
