It is so difficult to find videos/content where you can see designers working IRL. I really appreciate this! If it's possible, I would like to see more videos explaining IRL processes. Thanks!
I really appreciate that you actually talked through your design decisions. Every other process video I've watched is just designers moving things around a screen with no explanation.
This was FANTASTIC! It's exactly what I wanted to learn! You showed us you actually drawing a very rough sketch and explained why you were drawing what you were drawing. Then explained why the website looked bad and why your new design would work better! Amazing example! Thank you so much!
To elevate this even more, it would be a great idea to show quantitative data of the new design. I guess a lot of people who watched this video will check out the website however it would be nice to see how this reflects on the traffic.
This is really helpful especially for me who's self-learning all these web design/UI/UX design processes. Hope you would create some videos like these the future.
Happy to see great content being added free to youtube thanks M8, one quick thing i tried you when copying an svg from website you can just inspect element click the svg tag on the browser command + c then command + v in figma and the svg will be pasted... cheers!
I've been doing UX for 10 years, designed toys, safety equipment, softwares revolving UX, this point here @26:46 is Extremely important, never ever stop Sketching the wireframes, and the best tool for UX always remains Pen & Paper.
I would LOVE a video on how to use the design system you created. I bought it and it's awesome but have had some troubles dropping it into projects and understanding how to use it properly. I am fairly new to Figma however.
Maybe, instead of play buttons or instead of putting JUST play buttons, you could try to go with breadcrumbs like "video duration in mm:ss format" or like "Name & position" like "See what John Doe has to say (Senior UX Designer @LoremIpsum company)" That could bring some attention to CTA's. Great video Mizko! Greetings from Serbia :D
I don't know if this is difficult, but you could enable English subtitles, at least for me who is learning it is difficult without subtitles. Note: your channel is amazing
Wow! Thanks for this behind the scenes Mizko! I'd love to take your course! I'm in a bootcamp currently. Love your redesign of your course website! Do you use research tools like Empathy Maps, User flows?
HEY MIZKO! Wish you a great future ahead... I loved to see all your videos and learning UX/UI from your channel. I wish I'd like to know how to create Information Architecture and coming up with IA into visual designs. It can be based on mobile apps that based on online shopping / food delivery / social media, etc.. Thanks in Advance:)
Great content as always Mizko. Love your channel. Was wondering if you can show us where did you get the data? How did you validate the design? In order to get your quant insights how did you pulse your membership?
Another amazing video, as always! Thank you very much Mizko. I'm really looking forward to the courses! I really like the new design I'm just wondering or may be considering doing A/B testing on the hero image. Companies like Slack doing an amazing job decluttering the dashboard and companies like Asana actually breaking the dashboard into small pieces. There is no right/wrong but for me, I really like the first image. Again, thank you very much for the video!
Thank you Rodrigo! My Figma Masterclass is dropping soon. We’re getting very close. The entire site is going through a makeover, so I’ll be sharing that entire process as well :)
Mizko, thank you for making these videos to share your experience and knowledge with young designers!!!Very useful. I would like to ask one question, how to make prototype for both desktop and phone at the same time?Is there any standard grids?
Hi Mizko, as usual loving your videos, I learnt so much from you! I would've loved to see what needs to be considered or defined in files for hand over to developers? for example, the testimonial section, if you were to do it as a scrolling gallery would you have to create pretty much all of those images yourself or is it that you just give the developers a folder containing all the images and names+titles of people who gave you a testimonial and based on your design they will populate the rest? Or that hero image, did you insert an image of a screenshot and then put graphics on it to cover the texts and added those profile pic circles as well in figma and grouped it all as a hero image? would it be better to do that in Photoshop/Indesign and then export as one single png. file? what's the pros and cons? Thanks heaps
But we need to know if the number of clicks on the videos you put in the new design increases so that we know that this method is more effective and much better as a user experience!
Nice video - what tablet and stylus do you use? If you have the time, can you make a video about the process of handing off your designs to the development team? Thanks for the great content, very helpful!
Just a quick question since I'm still a beginner. Would it have been better to just to blur the text rather than make it look like a partial skeleton screen (12:56) ? If not, why? Would love some input here. Love your work 🔥
That's a great idea but blurring looks very odd. Doesn't suit the visual style we have in my opinion. That's more of a stylistic choice, so either way works :)
@@Mizko thank you :) I'm learning alot from your videos. I find designing a bit intimidating compared to coding cause the former is subjective while the latter has a right/wrong. Given that I'm binging on your videos and practising it, hopefully I gain confidence.
13:48 how did the vs code close animation happened?? Is it because of the editing/recording or you have a extension or something? I really want that !!!
Suppose i joined an average company as a ui ux designer for designing websites and after sometime when their website or application is done does that mean i need to find another job plz reply

Hey Mizko, dropping by to say hi! Been following your vids for some time. Your content is really helpful, even for senior designers like myself.
Your videos have been so helpful in helping me learn UX and Figma. Thank you so much for taking your time to share information with us.
Really happy to hear Matshidiso!
Love the behind scene info. Yes, more please!
To elevate this even more, it would be a great idea to show quantitative data of the new design. I guess a lot of people who watched this video will check out the website however it would be nice to see how this reflects on the traffic.
Really helpful!! Gives me an idea on approaching a project!🔥🔥

Made it to the end without noticing 💪. Looking forward for more such process videos in the future!
Ha! Nice glad you enjoyed it Prip!
very beneficial! It's very good to see how to come up the data driven design decision and both serve the users and business side well

Thanks, Mizko! I learned a lot from your design process. I hope you make more of these videos :)
It was so informative and well-explained to me
Thanks a ton Mizko🌸
FINALLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH MIZKO!!
Thank you very much for the video, it was useful.
Nice one mizko!!! Great Video
Thank you Lyehoe! Let me know if you have any questions about this as well.
Great video! Love your content!
Thank you Tal! Hope you enjoyed this walkthrough.
It would be awesome if you upload a tutorial on how to wireframe! Thanks man!

Do you think tools like Hotjar would've served pretty well here to identify which key areas need alterations?
Thankyou for making this video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video
You can use brandfetch figma plug-in to bring in logos from any websites.
Nice! It's more about exporting from the website though. I'll look into Brandfetch ,thanks!

you turned a good design into a bad one!!
What is the design system that you are using on this tutorial? Great content btw!

Your youtube music playlist looks a lot like mine. 🙂
Ha! Yes check out MusicLab on UA-cam. Great channel for immersive tracks!

Did you try adding the video within the hero element and maybe auto play it with the sound off? Big part of UX design is iteration and testing.
But we need to know if the number of clicks on the videos you put in the new design increases so that we know that this method is more effective and much better as a user experience!
100% we need time to push this update live and then track :) It's impossible to get results same day you design.
@@Mizko Yep, I know, I'm just wondering if you could share that as the results come in, so this method can prove to be more effective

legit i just pressed the ^G shortcut on my keyboard to try turn off your grid LOL how can you design with it always on!! hahahah
😂 I have a habit of flicking it on and off.
Great video! It would be interesting to see some data after a few weeks if your design improved your targeted metric :)
Is the video blur or problem my side?!
I want some largest projects!
