Good video. The i3 REx is programmable so it Never needs to switch the generator on automatically when in London zones, don't the TfL people understand how a REx works?(probably ignorant), they need to have it explained and allow i3 s to drive for free.
It's a matter of enforecement and unfortuntely, the i3 is a unique example of a car with a combustion engine on-board which can be actually used in fully electric mode regardless of how much heating / acceleration / etc. you need. The situation will clear up anyways past 2025 when all cars will have to pay the charge anyways.

Definitely. It's a hybrid - only zero tailpipe emission vehicles are exempt (for now).
Car Tax and Parking permits are also free. There are a few charging spots that are free.
