  • TCM Cosmetic Dermatology uses facial Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Cupping and all the tools of TCM to pump more blood flow and Qi (energy) into your facial muscles and tissues. It’s kind of like we’re “injecting” your face with vitality and health, and this is the result!
In this video we show the after results of 1 session. Usually we recommend 6-12 weekly or biweekly sessions (depending on age and issue severity) After that, the results are bigger and hold for longer. When you do facial Gua Sha at home for as little as 2-3x week the results of treatments can extend even longer, but exactly how long varies depending on age and skin type.
If fillers, botox, or surgery are more your thing, consider using TCM dermatology tools to help you prepare, recover and encourage longevity of your medical work. TCM can be part of any well-aging plan.

How long does this result last? And would you recommend this on 25-year old skin as well? Haha

It depends on a lot of factors, including at-home maintenance, state of the skin, etc. We recommend 8-10 sessions for maximum results. You can start at any age :)

Alright thanks! What would you recommend for genetically determined dark circles/deep eyes? I gua sha but could you maybe make a video on the best techniques for your eye area? I refuse to use fillers or botox in the future 😭

@@selbie06 I also use the term Facework for my combo of Gua & Face Yoga- eyes that look like you were beaten up in ur sleep transformed into eyes that look like you just came from a magical Gua Spa (hey- I like that! Officially coined here by Trina Gallo!) in 15-20 min.
As far as how long it works (I’m speaking of Gua Sha), I equate it to exercising the body. I LOOK like I need Facework after about 3-4 days!

With all due respect, you can get ghe same results at home with a massage. And it won't last because saggy jowls are a multifaceted problem that are caused by loss in elasticity on the face, the fay cushion moving around as we age, the bone structure.

After I gave birth before 1,5 years ago I lost fat from all over my face, especially on the sides from my forehead and the eye area ( upper lids). Any tips? ❤️

Definitely incorporate facial Gua Sha into your routine! Although it won't add/subtract any fat, better circulation of blood, fluids, and qi can help the skin look and feel healthier, more rejuvenated, etc! You can also go see a cosmetic TCM Practitioner who may be able to help with Acupuncture or other modalities of TCM.

In my opinion as a middle-aged hardcore Gua girl.. lady…?whatever 😂, I wouldn’t want a device to puncture holes in my face. But I’m thinking 🤔 Maybe when I’m in my late 50’s-60’s, they’ll be less invasive procedures.
