    I am a licensed master aesthetician and I completely agree with you. Kendall has no license to say and teach this technique and she also has no knowledge of the eastern philosophy that goes with this. 05:30 I totally sense what you are saying regarding heat and health. I have friends who, after many failed attempts to have a baby (miscarriages, etc), went to see a Chinese doctor. He said the mother should be warm at anytime and not to ever get anything cold around her belly (no cold baths, no going in the swimming pool, always cover her stomach in winter with an extra protection). And indeed, they now have a baby at long last.

      It is totally OK to Gua Sha with acne! Make sure you start with a clean face and a clean tool, and don't do it over broken skin or open pimples (cover them up with a pimple patch first!)!

      Gua Sha helps circulate blood, fluids, and energy, which in turn can make the skin more vibrant and supple. Some find that by doing Gua Sha, the appearance of wrinkles is softened. That said, we encourage you to do Gua Sha to promote healthy skin and tissue as a primary goal, with cosmetic results being an extra bonus.

    Cold constricts the blood vessels. Heat dilates the blood vessels. Think "brain freeze" from something very cold in the mouth. It hurts! 🤕

    Thank you for this! 🙏💖 Its absolutely not lymphatic drainage. It's really annoying when people with no training make videos about bodywork & healing techniques just because its trendy.

    Good information. I just got my kit. I used green tea extract and followed a UA-cam video for my first time. I only did the left side. I could see the difference. The oil didn't aggravate my skin either so thats a plus.

    I enjoyed your video! Thank you for the great information. I was wondering, what are your thoughts on Rose hip oil with actives for the face such as vitamin c etc? Some dermatologists say that it's good and your also getting the benefits from actives also

    Coconut oil is actually amazing for acne! I put it on my cystic zits and it heals them right up. It has great antimicrobial properties.
    I’m curious about the ice theory. I like my smoothie or fresh juice cold of course but I’m finding I don’t really like ice in my drinks or water anymore and I have pain and gut issues, basically a lot of autoimmune problems. I have also never liked icing pain. When doctors tell me to ice something, I don’t because I hate it so much.

      @seaglassmamma4040,
      The thing about ice cold drinks and foods, it 'paralizes' the releasing of stomach acid, preventing proper digestion__hence, your digestive/gut issues. I've been educating on this subject for decades but people just do not want to believe it until they morph some of their habits__then, it's a revalation. 😛
      Hope that explains it for you(?). 💖🙌😺
