My father taught me many of these concepts and it has served me well throughout my 74 years. Jordan Peterson and Dennis Prager are truly a gift to humanity, as my father was a gift to me.
From a Muslim Middle Eastern , not that I use this as identity more like a proof, Peterson you have changed my life. I grew up in Saudi Arabia until the age of 20, and I was force fed all the toxic group identity doctrines you talked about. Now I feel free, you have freed me from all that. I have found a meaning to life. Thank you so much!

The fact that Jordan Peterson's humility, honesty, and depth of being can bring an old man like me to tears and touch my spirit make me so thankful that Jordan Peterson is on this planet.
About Facts I too am old and haven't unlimited time to mess around either. It is a fact that JP exists. To what, whom, or Whom are you thankful for his existence? You did not specify. Obviously JP had nothing to do with his own creation or conception. Do you feel thankful toward Fate, or the Big Bang, or nothing in particular? You do not sound like a total materialist, since you speak of having a spirit. This is encouraging. I hope that you are a Christian. But if not, please consult Jesus rather than JP. Jesus has done for us what no philosopher can do. (Romans 5:8) 'For God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.'
I thought Danis tried to outsmart Jordan but defeated by Jordan’s brutally humble and honest and as a matter of fact responses..! Hahaha. ! Dang..!!! Danis is just one of the boring old regular guys. I would not listen to his speech.!
I weep tears of joy hearing Jordan’s amazing wisdom and honesty. May God bless him with a full recovery to health and sustain him through all the many trials he is sure to endure.
Damn.... Just watched for the second time all the way through. I replayed several parts as I watched and the last 5 minutes just now. Tears were threatening... but your comment racked a sob out of me 😂😛 Not the first time I've shed a tear watching Peterson. Thank you for your comment. So true. When Dennis says he'll end on Peterson's last comment because nothing could be more powerful, I could accept that in the grander sense of Jordans contributions to my life and the world. But I really hope we don't have to. What a bright candle. The best often burn out quickly. But if Peterson can do what he has helped so many of us do, there will be more to come. Maybe this last year was a necessary Journey to the underworld.❤ I think Peterson came by his wisdom honestly from places of real darkness and pain. That's why we get what he has put together. Maybe there is an even bigger lesson seeing that someone who can express how to achieve meaning as well as he does can still succumb to the suffering and pain and malevolence of existence. As he says, ultimately we all do. Maybe his new level of suffering will inspire even greater Transcendence
@@jimbarth9859 I agree, I think his suffering during this last year probably pushed him more towards God. That's what suffering usually does, although sometimes it has the opposite effect. But I can tell he's closer to God now.

Randy If by that you mean a man who has allowed God to shine His light deep into his heart, then yes he is a good man. Most good people know how how imperfect they are.
Humility is a trait of a good man too. I believe even a good man has the capacity for evil and the fact that he doesn't do evil things despite be capable of them is why he is good.
I just saw a video of him talking about his effecting change in people's lives and he had to wipe away tears and was choked up. Very sincere and humble
What makes Peterson extraordinary is, he will sit on a stage, in front of anyone, and courageously examine the depths of his own soul, while most people I know are so fearful that, they won't even do that in the privacy and solitude of their own bedroom.
Almost made me cry- such sincerity. “Only 200 people” signed a petition, how that didn’t destroy him emotionally speaks to his inner strength. Something similar happened to me in Grade 8, all the kids but one ganged up on me, conspired together to hurt me. Took years to get over it. So I learned very young that people in groups can be cruel. But I also learned that 1 person’s kindness can make the world of difference and make even the most wicked human acts somehow survivable.
I am a 50 year old Korean-American man, who witnessed his father slowly work and drink himself to death over 45 years. Your explanation of the Pinocchio parable healed me more than I can express. Thank God for you Dr. Peterson! You have made me a believer! ❤ 🙏
This testament here touched me to the degree I cannot even express. As a young man from a 3rd world country I have gone through a lot myself. Jordan Peterson is truly a gift from God!
Here’s why Peterson’s message works: 1. He talks about everything 2. He’s honest about it all, spills his guts even cries on stage 3. His analysis is clear and with good examples without scientific wording. 4. And then he tells us: his job is AS GOOD AS IT GETS!
In my lifetime, I've never known of a man as both earnest and culturally prominent as Jordan Peterson. And so totally courageous in pursuit of Truth. Lionheart... It lifts the spirit to observe such people.
I believe Alexey Navalny is such a man..... so let's all be reminded that it can go both ways. The inhumanity, malevolence and evil inherent in societies without free speech should terrify each and everyone of us.
I basically never cry. But this brought real tears in my eyes. Joran is as pure as a human can be, it overwhelms me when he cries. It really does something deep
When we look out into the darkness at night by contrast we also see the billions of lights shining at us. That amount of matter and energy is incredible, especially in light of it all coming from one place at one time, in the Big Bang beginning where the eternal God said, "Let there be light." But the fine tuning of the universe is just as remarkably beyond impossible odds. To think from this one singular explosion of everything from apparent nothing we get perfect harmony of so many life sustaining variables, it's ridiculous without an intelligent designer.
I, me, describe what I see in the world with a metaphor, great darkness - my perception of nature as being in balance means there has to be a great light - therefore there is a God???????

I've never seen JP tearing up like this before. Looking at the date of the video it ties in with some dark times for the man. Makes me respect him even more👍
It's not unusual. He often gets emotional when he talks about the positive responses and stories of lives turned around that he hears from people. It obviously means a lot to him.
I view the recent dark period Peterson experience as a crisis in his Faith. Peterson has seen behind the veil and I'm sure, into the many dark minds of his patients. He didn't like what he saw and it's shaken his belief in God. As an Atheist, perhaps I recognize this quite starkly because I moved to a position of a non-believer because of what I have seen and experienced. Jordan Peterson once said, that he takes the audience of who he's speaking to on a journey with him as he speaks through things. I think that's why he's so popular. Although his intellect is off the charts, he talks with you not down or at you. Authenticity and vulnerability is all too rare in the public forum. This gives you hope in humanity. Get well!
Except JP is citing some intellectual who is trying to find significance in "my God, my God why have you forsaken me" not realizing that Jesus was singing Psalm 22. And so JPs hermeneutical method is to remove the significance of the psalm and only pay attention to the words recorded.
@@johncollins8304 so shallow it is. Rather than trying to understand the crucifixion as 1st century jews and christians would understand "my God my God why hast thou forsaken me" I'm going to strip all context and reference and just look at the written historical words and draw an independent meaning.
@@TheChristianImperialist i thought the exact same thing. When the full context of the scriptures (all 66 books of the canon) are understood and believed through the Holy Spirit, the understanding of who Christ is can develop and grow in truth. I thoroughly love JP, but as a natural man his understanding of God's word cannot exceed what the flesh will allow, no matter how analytical and thoughtful those musings may be.
Jordan Peterson saved my life. He's also the reason why I now live my life as if God exists...and I listen to this interview whenever I need a little help through my day. Thank you.
This was literally the best interview I've ever watched. Im a young person, only 19 turning 20 in six months, and the adult world has been so scary and overwhelming for me, much more than I thought it ever was and I know people my age or around my age who still think that the world cant hurt them and Im so glad that I've bucked up my ideas and I realize that I still have a lot to learn, Im also extremely grateful to have found someone like Jordan Peterson who I can learn from.
You're lucky to have discovered him so young. JP fell into my radar when I was around 28, I'm currently 31. And I'm literally starting to stop hating myself and to be aware of my own demons, learning to keep them at bay. I've battled depression and suicidal thoughts since I was 12, never sought help from any medical professionals due to the fact that it's a taboo issue in my country/ culture/ family.
I have applied Jordan's advice to my life for two years and it has been a blessing as the world becomes darker. Since you are young, consider checking out Dave Ramsey and his advice about money, specifically avoiding debt or how to get out if you're in it. All of us who pay attention to the world feel the fear you mentioned. That is why so many would rather live in blindness.
I second that. Jordan Peterson is the wisest person I have come to know in my short 13 years. This discussion brings hope back to a girl who forgot that darkness requires light to be properly examined and acknowledged.
A stumbled across JP at 17 when a part of his lecture was in a video about how to get girls. Finding JP and reading his book had nothing but a positive impact on me. Mainly, I discovered the podcasting world where I’m able to learn from people like him, Joe Rogan, Jocko Willink, and Andy Stumpf, people which continue to improve my life everyday. Overall, I haven’t gotten the girl, but I did clean my room, started martial arts, read a bunch of books, improved my family relationships, and began to understand myself like never did before. JP was the catalyst to that domino effect, and I can’t thank him enough.
Good job man! The girl will come don't worry. Building yourself into a high quality man will inevitably attract high quality people into your life. Keep it up 👍💪
Keep up the good work. What you're doing is preparing yourself to be the right man for the right girl. (Which is arguably far more important.) She's coming. And with any luck, at this moment she's preparing herself for you too.

Susan K Jesus not only spoke the truth at all times; He IS (as He said) the Way, and the Truth, and the Life (see John 14:6). Through His weakness, by submitting to death on the Cross, and by His Resurrection to glory, He defeated SIN and DEATH, our greatest enemies. Satan, the ultimate tyrant, was vanquished. The rest of history until its end is the outworking of that encounter.
He is always absolutely passionate about his work, his words and the people who listens to him. He's also so afraid of the evil and the malevolence. And we can see that, at that time, he was deeply depressed. I'm so glad he's ok now. And back.
As a Catholic, I believe in Saints, throughout history, every time darkness threaten the children of God, he send his saints to bring about The Truth, which ultimately is God, when we look to the moral and political events, I strongly believe we’re living in one of the darkest times of all, and with all possible flaws one might have, Jordan Peterson is indeed an emissary of the Lord, one who dares to speak the truth!
Tadeu Batista In the Scriptures, the word 'saint' refers to ALL those who believe in the Lord and are sanctified through their faith. 'And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.' The concept of a superior class, a spiritual elite which does the heavy lifting while the rest of the Church watches, is not very Scriptural, the Old Testament prophets notwithstanding. I hope that you take this as an ENCOURAGEMENT, my friend. Your witness to the righteousness, grace, and mercy of our Lord Jesus is as valuable as that of the next guy. @@blakebunch4485 I'd like to answer this since the commenter did not. It's not exactly "not true", however faith and attempting to follow Christ is not ALL based on works, or our actions in life. If that were so, nobody could ever cut the mustard at all, because we ALL fall short. It's more about your repentance for bad actions and forgiveness. Peterson has said he "isn't good enough" to say he believes in God. He never will be. None are. But with Jesus, the point is you bring your sinful self to Him and He helps create in you the person you need to be. The argument between protestant and Catholic has always been works or faith and i think it's very silly, since i believe it takes both very much. Idk what you'd call me. I simply call myself a Christian. The thing is, if one makes the decision in their heart and soul to follow Christ, there's no way their works or actions don't improve. They must. So one comes along with the other. But Peterson must understand that he will never be good enough. None are. He must humble himself and bring himself, sinfulness and all, before God. Repent and accept the love of God. That's all. Good works, or better works simply follow that. But nobody would be perfect because then we wouldn't need God. We would be God.
@@blakebunch4485 someone commented that it was false to say we need to "act out" our beliefs, and you asked "why's that?" That's why I put it the way i did. Of course, it is not false. We do, to the best we can achieve, need to act out our beliefs and live them in our lives. But, that's not all there is to it. It just seems to me that Peterson is waiting for a perfection that will never arrive, if he thinks he must be "good enough" before he surrenders himself to God. Again, if any of us were good enough, we wouldn't need Jesus, or his sacrifice, because we would just be perfect. Don't get me wrong, i love Jordan Peterson. But to say anyone isn't "good enough" to state that they believe, well, that's the point, none are. Not even the very best human on earth is. We are supposed to unashamedly believe and unashamedly say so. We don't need to wait until we are "good enough" because God knows we aren't and he loves us anyway and wants us to come to him anyway. Now, i definitely don't agree that one can stay in their awful, sinful, behaviors and still claim to follow Jesus. Again, once you surrender yourself and decide to follow that path, your works in this world will change, because you have chosen this path.

This is False. I almost agree with Peterson, however, this is a secular view. The Bible is pretty clear that there are believers and non believers. The beauty of God is the Mercy He shows us sinners, which Peterson understands. Perhaps Jordan represents a type of Doubting Thomas, as he denies this clear fact: God allows us to fail through life so that we might find our Faith: Genesis 15:6 "Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness." John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Ephesians 2:9 "Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." [Not by works but by Faith] Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This is further enforced by this realization: John 14:9 "Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?" The requirement to have seen Jesus and have faith that you've also seen the Father is to have first believed. And again, belief enforces the power of our will: Revelations 12:11 "And they overcame him [antichrist/the beast] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
@@Ariel-oo1nc Answer me this. If God "Allows us to fail through life so that we might find our Faith".....what happens if we don't find that Faith? In fact, if you don't have Faith to begin with, and we Fail, does that mean non-believers are all going to Hell by default, even if we led lives free of hurting others, had families, led others to success and contributed to Society in a measured and meaningful way? What becomes of of me, an Atheist, if I have led a principled life, helped others, contributed to Society and didn't hurt others? Since I am not part of "The Club of Faith I am doomed according to God? This is why Religion, and by extension, belief in a higher being, will always be a circular argument. A Benevolent God would put no such constraints on their Creation, putting traps and pitfalls in their path, gleefully waiting for them to fail only to throw us into a burning Pit when "He" knew all long it was an unobtainable and impossible exercise. The Bible may be full of Wisdom and Warnings and perhaps set people on a moral path but it is no proof of God. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and nobody has that evidence becasue it simply doesn't exist.
@@james_tiberius_kirk73 Well, by your response I can tell that you are already snickering at the idea of a God and Faith. So, this is a question that you hope puts me on the hot seat while you read and eat some popcorn. Am I wrong? Yes. If you don't believe that Jesus died for your sins and live according to the father's will (Ten Commandments, personal revelations) then yes, you are going to Hell. That's according to the Bible.
@@james_tiberius_kirk73 I am less curious to know why you think I am wrong, and more curious to know why you think you are right. As people, we create things in life, and if they don't meet our standards (ie. A meal we've burnt) we throw it in the trash. If you are a creation of God, and you don't meet his standards, why do you get to choose what survives or is thrown into the trash, but He who created you does not? Do you consider yourself a person who loves? If you have thrown anything out that is distasteful to you, then I would ask, why should I believe that you are capable of love? Do you not do the same as God does, who created you in His own image and likeness (Genesis 1:26, 2:7).
Whenever I listen to Jordan I feel two things at once; that his intellect and compassion is so astonishingly powerful and deep that I must understand it as far as possible, but also a kind of painful acknowledgment that he is one in a billion and I can only dream to meet and discuss with anyone like him in real life, or learn everything he has such a beautiful breadth of knowledge in. I think it's almost reprehensible that his intensely insightful views are so widely condemned.
Well put! It’s strange though that there are so many people that are apparently condemning his message, yet if you read comments it’s almost impossible to find a negative one! You’d think they would be clambering to write their nasty messages, yet, where are they? It’s weird.
One of my all-time favorite videos...Dr.Peterson had been on tour quite a while by this time and was visibly worn-down...one of his best qualities is that he is able and willing to let his vulnerability show.....I just love him....and Dennis, with all his wisdom, was/is able to discern the beauty in Jordan’s soul...what a great pairing here....love them both.
This man is a legend. I'm so grateful to live in a time when this man exists. Jordan Peterson has allowed me to truly open up my mind to a better life and I will never forget that. I wish the very best for him and his family.
I feel the same way. We who are alive at the same time are witnessing true greatness unfold from the heart of Jordan Peterson. He’s willing to tell the truth that is inside him because he’s more afraid of the lies that will take root and choke out the light. Mankind is not good except by daily choices to do better. He’s gifted with a vocabulary, education and the brains to pull it all together into a coherent narrative. Basically he is saying, Don’t lie , Don’t Cheat, Don’t Blane others for your stupidity.. Don’t be un ungrateful blob. Don’t be lazy and We are not all created equal. You will know when you are in the presence of someone greater than you are because THEY Inspire you to actually become the best you can be... continually .
@Goggle products many people agree with me that are influential individuals from many different backgrounds. Joe Rogan, Jocko Willick, Shapiro, Rubin, Crowder, Harris, the list goes on. Democrats, republicans, independents, etc etc. You think all these peeps are brain washed fools? You sound bitter and angry and should take the time to really listen to what Mr. Peterson has to say. You might learn something.
Lets not allow that his eloquence, intelligence and well meaning intentions for humanity turn him into and idole. I absolutely love how humble he is, I have learned a lot from his talks and teachings. however, he is a channel that brings truth not the ultimate truth. We need to continue coming to the Father (God) the perfector of our faith. Is important to apply his wisdom without putting aside our relationship with God. God bless you so much Dr Peterson.
Yes.. 'For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.' Eph 2:8-9 Although we are unworthy, there is not other way to come to Him but through Christ. So although we are forever unworthy, and none of us are good enough to claim ultimate faith in God (we're imperfect) but Christ paid the only price that matters. His blood covers us so God doesn't see us, but the perfect blood.
Fascinating how truth and the seeking of truth led Jordan literally to Christ, despite the efforts of almost our entire culture to frame God or religion as bereft and a decrepit worldview.

Dr. Peterson, your advise, insight(which led to my own profound insight) and wisdom led to me fall in love with my husband again...more deeply than ever before. Our marriage has never been so full of passion and real friendship. Thank you for saving my marriage🙏.
Peterson pointed it out. You were where you needed to be already. This is the same as Jesus deriding those who tried to grasp what they tried to, with the old, "Oh ye of little faith." He didn't say, "Oh ye of NO faith." Belief is an infinite thing, it must be, it is.
If only everyone would strive to live in such a way as to earn the thanks of those they influence. Dr. Peterson, thank you for "shouldering the load", and for your great work. You have offered healing and hope to me as well. I thank God for you!

Docbndgrl9113 We should always strive to be better brother. I know that I have lots of room for improvement and I’m constantly working on it. Two thousand years ago, the Creator hung on a cross to pay for my sins, to give me life, so I’m going to head His words and always strive for righteousness.
You are a true teacher. Courageously saying we are responsible in life. You are a positive force this world needs at this time, even though it comes at a personal cost to you and your family. Please continue!
I truly believe you were put here to return hope to us. To rekindle every thing we have let fall to the wayside. You're passion and intelligence is so powerful, I felt it just a few minutes time. I haven't stopped listening since. I accidentally opened the UA-cam app, when shoving my cell phone into my pocket to free my hands while working under my truck. While my hands were greasy and busy, your voice started speaking from my pocket. It was the 13 Ways of Life (I believe it was called). Five minutes in, and I lay there on the hot concrete, arms still shoved up inside my motor, frozen in place listening. The world around me had faded to background noise and, for a moment, all I heard was your voice on the video. I began to cry because something just clicked inside me. Your words made sense, and it was just what I needed. The night before I had sat in my garage at 2 AM . Unable to sleep, because of all the sadness and worry I felt about the world today. About how hard and painful life really is. Wondering why? What is the return? Why are we here? To feel pain? I felt lost. So, with my heart hurting, and my soul broken, I asked 'Why? Please tell me, show me where I'm lacking. So I can grow and make my life better than it is today. Better than it was yesterday. And I promise, I will continue to build on that. How can I fix this?". Then by accident, your video began playing, and my answer was right there. Thank you. My soul needed a recharge.

Maybe this last year was a necessary Journey to the underworld.❤
I think Peterson came by his wisdom honestly from places of real darkness and pain.

Almost made me cry- such sincerity. “Only 200 people” signed a petition, how that didn’t destroy him emotionally speaks to his inner strength. Something similar happened to me in Grade 8, all the kids but one ganged up on me, conspired together to hurt me. Took years to get over it. So I learned very young that people in groups can be cruel. But I also learned that 1 person’s kindness can make the world of difference and make even the most wicked human acts somehow survivable.

@@TheChristianImperialist You are of the hermeneutic school of shallowness.
@@johncollins8304 so shallow it is. @@TheChristianImperialist i thought the exact same thing. Jordan Peterson saved my life. He may never know it, and I may never be able to thank him...but his words, his message, and his passion for helping others helped me to slay the dragon in the underworld...and claim the treasure it guards. LazlosPlane ....how do you get in contact with him?

Jesus not only spoke the truth at all times; He IS (as He said) the Way, and the Truth, and the Life (see John 14:6).
Tadeu Batista
In the Scriptures, the word 'saint' refers to ALL those who believe in the Lord and are sanctified through their faith.

"We do not need to say we believe - we need to act it out" - so well put! It really is a privilege to share the information space with people like him.
This is false
I can’t over state the positive impact that Dr. Peterson has had on my life. He would never admit it but he is a living hero.

I sometimes get the feeling that JP has thought about and realised so much about existence that he finds what he has learned almost unbearable
The burden/frustration of being a giant amongst children...
This is False. I almost agree with Peterson, however, this is a secular view. The Bible is pretty clear that there are believers and non believers. The beauty of God is the Mercy He shows us sinners, which Peterson understands. Perhaps Jordan represents a type of Doubting Thomas, as he denies this clear fact: God allows us to fail through life so that we might find our Faith:
Genesis 15:6 "Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Ephesians 2:9 "Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." [Not by works but by Faith]
Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This is further enforced by this realization:
John 14:9 "Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?"
The requirement to have seen Jesus and have faith that you've also seen the Father is to have first believed.
And again, belief enforces the power of our will:
Revelations 12:11 "And they overcame him [antichrist/the beast] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
@William Kievit um, no. He simplifies the trans 'issue' by not permitting himself to be forced to recognise non-gender people. This is not trans.
@William Kievit which is a problem how? It does nothing to improve or degrade. So retract.
@William Kievit I'm not a groupie! I'm a realist, in so far as I live in the real world, not in the make believe! A boy is a boy, a girl is a girl. But, a boy who thinks he's a girl, I concede will be a 'she'. A girl who thinks she's a boy, I concede will be a 'he'.
But, 'they'!? Give me a break. Pronouns are not sacred but they shouldn't be thrown about stupidly. Unless you are stupid, of course.
This is where we get it wrong, even him self said it, he is not good he’s terrified of how evil he could be
I was wishing I had heard this at 20 instead of 70. Then again I might not have paid attention.
Well said.
Yikes
God bless the man who is still open-minded at 70!
Never is late !!!!
Philipp Berry im 22, and paying attention. We’ll try to cover you up! 😄
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
❤❤
Amen.
Why would you fear someone who’s supposed to love you unconditionally? Sounds like a really abusive relationship.
@@jameslong9564 It's not that sort of fear, and you know that.
@@jameslong9564 why do atheists have such a deep spiritual void, that they want to go back and forth when people state things about a higher power? Seems like an almost obsession due to lack
Thank God for men that spend their lives helping others and building them up👏🙌. Who needs a marvel "hero" when you have real heros in this crazy world🙏
I love this man, and pray for him to recover, he did so much for all of us who suffer in any way. God bless J.Peterson, he is a good man endeed.
Dr. Peterson, your advise, insight(which led to my own profound insight) and wisdom led to me fall in love with my husband again...more deeply than ever before. Our marriage has never been so full of passion and real friendship. Thank you for saving my marriage🙏.
truthonion Awesome
Please share your insight.... Stay blessed in Christ!
Peterson pointed it out. You were where you needed to be already. This is the same as Jesus deriding those who tried to grasp what they tried to, with the old, "Oh ye of little faith." He didn't say, "Oh ye of NO faith." Belief is an infinite thing, it must be, it is.
I really like listening to JP. The way he gets emotional, the way he feels what he teaches, really touches me.
O could listen to him forever.
If only everyone would strive to live in such a way as to earn the thanks of those they influence.
Dr. Peterson, thank you for "shouldering the load", and for your great work. You have offered healing and hope to me as well. I thank God for you!
Mr Peterson, your a good man, by that I mean that you strive for goodness. Don’t be surprised that the moral majority are with you. You are much beloved brother.
A truly good person . . . a truly wise person has a much deeper understanding, appreciation, loathing, and wariness of his or her own innate corruption and potential for evil.
don hall I agree with Jordan on this. And how can we be good if we are striving for goodness?
One who is truly good wouldn't have to do that.
Docbndgrl9113 We should always strive to be better brother. I know that I have lots of room for improvement and I’m constantly working on it. Two thousand years ago, the Creator hung on a cross to pay for my sins, to give me life, so I’m going to head His words and always strive for righteousness.
Jordan Peterson is a voice of reason in these crazy times, and I have so much respect for him.
JP is one of a few reasons to thank youtube for.
when people ask him does he believe in God what he’s really wrestling with is grace
Precisely!
Amen
“We wouldn’t call it ‘Amazing!’ if we could understand Grace!” ~Tom Stark (The Papa smiling listening to JBP & DP as we read him some of the watcher’s comments) ❤️
I actually hurt for him.
He has such a brilliant mind, but he battles with ' Faith'.
He tries so hard to reason ; but if he could just release that all to God and accept the love and gift of Christ... I just pray he will.
I really pray a lot, because he has a huge influence and following. If he could harness that all for the purpose of Christ...
He'd make great Christian ;)
Wrestling with his grace? LMAO No, he's thinking of a way to answer a loaded question. Idiot.
Both these men bring me hope and joy when they speak. 👍👍
I cannot express adequately how grateful i am for Mr. Peterson and his wife. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for rising up, despite the opposition that comes your way, to share with us truths that are making a difference in our lives. I feel so fortunate and grateful. I pray that they and their family will be kept safe in every way by God.
