I don't care what happens now in WoW's lore, this is now canon in my eyes. This fits so seamlessly all of the threads we've been given and its so nice to see characters actually take wisdom from multiple spiritual sources from what we've been given and realise that each bit, whether its the Sha, the Light or Elune herself, all interconnects towards a singular source, which is how our mythology and world religions function irl.
You understood the assignment that many other speculators fail to do when it comes to how spirituality works and I'm so damn impressed.
I look forward to seeing what else this night elf has to say.

Ive always had a feeling that Elune and Azeroth were connected. I think Elune is gonna be the biggest reveal to us one day.. like all these years theyve never shown her to us. Maybe in The Last Titan we'll learn more
I also sometimes wonder if the shadowlands and emerald dream are keeping Azeroth sleeping/dreaming forever
And it goes against Elunes idea of balance with the titans ordering stuff way too much and just locking up old gods, darkness and corruption. Like the titans are just trying to cover up and order their mistakes like bandaids and now maybe the radiant song is Elune/Azeroth crying out because the darkness can no longer be contained

I definitely encourage that with my presentations too, as often I can't actually fit *all* of the 'evidence' I've found into 1 video, so it pays off to look into it yourself and discover more connections left unsaid :)
This looks great. Elune is my favorite aspect of the lore and I don't want her to become a mere member of another boring pantheon. When can we expect the next parts of Elune saga? I can't wait to see it!
I share your sentiment for the character/deity, and I'm glad this angle on her nature/origin resonates! I'm in the image/video editing stage of Part 2, so I expect to be able to release it in about a week or so 😀 I appreciate the excitement!
Really good video and puts up a lot of interesting concepts but I think it doesn't incorporate the other cultures of WoW and how they see the moon to paint a clear picture of Elune being the one true deity aka Upstart Goddess, and doesn't touch upon Elune's mother or brother which could really expand this story to a very primordial and old tale.
I do think you are quite right about Cosmic Void and Elune being connected.
The Naaru also fall to become Void Gods, which are different from the Void Lords.

My take away, we are the child of balance not Azeroth, the people of Azeroth are all the balance. Or rather think of it like we are all Azeroth both with the ability to create and destroy.

My theory is that Elune is one of "The First Ones". The true deity like entities that are behind the "Xereth" dimensions.
Perhaps something like that! Next video I've been working on finally touches on that part of the equation, which I've purposely left unmentioned so far ~

Bro, a long time ago I had written a story similar to this, where light and chaos passed and left traces in the universe, and in the fractions of energy that remained they came together and generated life. It looks like they stole my idea :(
As a devout kaldorei, I like this theory, it has merit. However, I would like to present a perspective: reading from the notes about Eonar, I distinctly got an impression from the wording that she was in a kind of a romantic relationship with Elune. I'm sure Malorne did not mind, but this makes the angle of Elune being Eonar's mother (of whatever kind) a bit questionable.

I wish the canonical info were clearly marked. I don't know if there's just no transcribed versions of the passages you quoted if they come from the book, but I couldn't find anything about that "lesson of Elune".
It feels too speculative to conflate Azeroth with Elune - Mother Earth with Mu'sha. It requires something really screwy to merge them. We're seeing clear fractals with the Titans and their Keepers, and likely extending down through mortals as well, but we don't say Freya and Eonar are exactly the same. Despite the rigidity of Order, the Keepers seem to have some variation of mind from their creators.
Maybe it also personally offends me to think of the moon as the center of the universe instead of Azeroth.
Lorandir, the Night Elf speaker, should be taken with a grain of salt, as what we hear is his own interpretation from a strange vision and is less of a 4th-wall breaker than Nazaxx, the Goblin speaker, who normally only speaks in status-quo canon terms. It's my bad for the confusion in having Lorandir "quote" his own vision in which the Lesson of Elune is given to him.
Sooner, Azeroth is a mother of Elune, Winter Queen and (let’s name him by the name from the legend) An’she. Elune can use three kinds of magic :1) Life (Nature), because she’s responsible for this; 2) Some kind of Light (because of her twin brother; 3) Arcane, she possibly got this ability from Eonar, and titaness, in exchange, got the power over Nature (Life). This is my point of view. Yet, your theory also has a right for existence. Let’s see, what Blizzard brings)
Also it’s more possible, that Naaru are “children” of An’she. And as his children, they inherited a “curse”, this turning into Void state thing, because An’she was “wounded” by Shadow in the legend, to me that “wound” seems more like a curse. There is no pure Void creature, that would turn to light. Where is An’she then? In the realm of Life, near his sister, since the closer he is to her - the better he feels. Behind that barrier in Emerald Dream. And final, what if it was Xal’atath who cursed An’she?) She is speaking of Elune in such way, like she met her personally.
Mu'sha and An'she are not the same deity they are separate but deeply linked in the bonds of family

I wish blizzard didn't confirm some things of elune because it causes a mess. I like the idea of her being a creator of the universe and how you can take the tauren story of the earth mother as basically her creating the universe and then anshe and musha being her eyes. The thing is with shadowlands confirming that the name she wants to be known as is elune and the night elves are her favorite children it feels like the team is overly focused on night elves and the titan forged. Not allowing other races like the tauren or troll attention and them being right on things. i think wow's cosmology is a mess because they had different aspects and inspirations and all trying to make it fit with everything from before.
I have Faith Blizz will find the right solution here! The disappointment around Elune during 9.1 was palpable, and they surely heard the fans cries for a better use of that diety/character. This theory aims to find a more nuanced and grander position for her, but based within the hints given so far, going back all the way to the WC3 manual and RPG books.

It's a fun video, but I think it misses the mark, especially since it relies on old conceptions of the warcraft universe & goes against current messaging about what Elune is.
I think Elune being sister to the Winter Queen & being described as an upstart or rogue deity does imply she's likely a member of the pantheon of life doing her own thing, rather than an omnipotent over-deity.
Also just as a personal comment, I much prefer the modern conception of 6 equal forces in the warcraft universe over the old conception of light & void being supreme/fundamental with the others coming later. It makes the universe much less monolithic & therefore more interesting... I like light just being one faction, one perspective, rather than being the cosmic origin & primordial truth.
