If you don't like the idea of using your tub you can bring your gear to a laundromat that has a front loading machine and put everything but your skates in there and was them. Dry them in the sun at home. Sun is the best disinfectant. For skates, make sure to spray them after every game with a disinfectant and let them air dry upside down or invest in a boot dryer. If you do this after every skate you won't need to wash them and you'll extend the life of your rivets. If you have a front loading machine at home you can was your gear with your towel to weigh them down. Add one or two pieces of gear to every towel wash and you'll be good.
Any recommendations for cleaning my hockey gloves? I don't have a tub that can fill up to soak them in - would soaking them in the sink work just as well? If so do you recommend hot or cold water and do I put any specific detergent in the water or just good 'ol soap?
So I’m not an expert on the subject but with a front loading washer you can just throw them in there. If your uncomfortable with doing that like me a sink would also work great. I’m honestly not sure if hot water would hurt your gloves but I used warm water and they are fine. Also for detergent it’s not a big deal what kind I just used basic laundry detergent witch worked great
I just recently got back into playing roller hockey and your videos give great insight. Would you be able to make a video describing the positions of the players at each face-off spot on the rink. Sometimes I'm not sure where to lineup at each face-off.
Wore a cut off shirt without washing it my whole senior season in high school it was brown by the end never washed my gear probably should have I’ll have to now that I’m older
Thank you for your content buddy, there's not a lot on Roller Hockey and this really helps some of us out. ✌🏽
No problem dude. Glad to help with what I can
