Thank! I really hope I hit 1 mil one day. UA-cam just takes time to grow. I’ve only been at it for 9 months and the channel keeps growing faster and faster
I'm around hockey for like 15 years. But only now I've learned what I wanted to know about sticks. It's so good to see someone so passionate about this beautiful sport. Keep it up Dude, sub smashed!
@@HockeyAdventures that's being called passion - one can think you know everything, but you keep looking and learning new things, even though your knowledge is astronomical. You never know enough about hockey 😁
Ayy Ryan another great video keep it up! This actually helped because the stick on my tape is like literally shredded from all time I played with it and I used to think the flex was just about how much the stick would bend well no lol. Also one thing you should've covered was how tall the stick needs to be when you buy one or somethin but anyways still a great video and stay safe at home bro! :)
See I knew I forgot something. The height should between your chin and bottom of your nose when on skate so just. stand on you tiptoes and your good. Also yes I will do those videos eventually in the feature
Hey, I’m not looking to get too serious into it or play in a league I’m just gonna want some skates, gloves, and a stick. I will be skating on concrete and occasionally asphalt on a home made net. I also want the same skates to withstand concrete and asphalt. I’m looking for a low price budget. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Your best bet is to look for used equipment. sidelineswap.com is a good place to look. Remember skates are a size down from shoe size. If you want new Alkali is the way to go for cheep skates. Also you will have to replace the wheels once they get torn up and get outdoor wheels. When it comes to sticks get one with an abs blade or buy the hockey wraparound so your blade won’t get torn up
@@HockeyAdventures can you tell me more about wraparound? Is it an actual guard that protects your blade from getting torn up? I play the majority of my hockey on streets and school yards, with not so smooth surfaces that completely kill my blade! I try to buy cheaper sticks and that are more geared to street hockey and the blades last bit longer but always looking for any tips for the blades to last longer!
Really enjoy your videos. For this one I would have liked a little more talk on length of sticks. I am 5'8 1/2 and prefer a longer stick. They seem hard to find however. 57 inches seem to be ok to find but I would love to have something near 60 inches and that seems hard to track down for rec use. As a smaller player I find having a longer stick more productive for both offense and defense.
Look into getting pro stock sticks. They are just sticks pros didn’t use so they get some. You can go get some longer sticks there. They are actually cheaper then normal sticks and are stronger. I use hockeystickman.com
Most don't know this... and I don't mean to scrutinize your advice. However if you've ever really paid attention to the way a professional holds their stick, the but end of it actually sits inside their palm and that actually gives you so much more control oddly enough. It seems counter intuitive, but from personal experience I can say that having a knob actually makes handling the puck quite a bit more difficult. Just my 2 cents
How do you not have more subs? You deserve it and I garnered you’ll get 1 mil in the future.

You should also do a video of how to stickhandle properly and tips for skating properly to. ;)

Is the stick only have one size in length or there’s multiple sizes? Fyi I’m 5’7 so I don’t want the stick to be too long lol
Normally the length is different depending if you get Jr. Int. Or Sr. But besides that they will be the same length unless otherwise stated
@@HockeyAdventures I'm 21 so I think I need to use either int or sr I think
