I was hoping for a tip for how to get rid of the grainy and noisy video image like the the thumbnail for this video was showing. I have no idea how to get rid of it and I've been researching it everywhere.
It’s noisy and grainy because the sensor on average webcams are very small thus the picture quality is very bad. The webcam needs to have very high iso to compenasate for the dark, lightless image and it makes to outcome noisy and grainy. Unfortunately the thumbnail is very missleading, you will never achive image quality like that with a webcam. That picture was taken with a proper camera. You can use your phone as a webcam nowdays which is usally way better then an actual webcam but then you don’t have a phone during that time which you have to keep in mind. If you want an ultimate picture quality you need a proper camera, especially a proper lens, lighting, a capture card or a camlink to use your camera as a device. This is the hard truth. Cheap 20-30$ webcams will never achive good image quality, it is just not enough budget for a proper sensor.
@@szabaripeti98 Thanks, but I have a logitech Brio which is near $200. Advertising this as a 4k camera sounds like an outright lie if it's quite actually impossible even to get a clean 1080p out of this thing. I'm actually using a studio light now and I still can't get rid of it.
One thing I found improves the grainy look is by placing a lamp without the shade on-behind/slightly above your web cam. I have it on a low shelf behind my computer. This method improved picture quality and also removed allot of the grainy look
You haven't really said a lot about the actual image quality. I've got a decent HD camera. I have the C930e and, frankly, it just isn't a crisp image. This is the main problem; audio, composition, lighting - they can take care of themselves; but image quality is something else again
Hello. I wear glasses and I can't see without them. So I'm gonna take duolingo at my home and I'm looking for ways of how to set up my light source and everything to not get glare on my glasses. Ofc no one wants to get uncertified in duoling test. Could you pls help me?

do buy a higher resolution webcam if u want a higher quality, Yes, it will u same quality if you use the same resolution. but it depends on the webcam too
A bigger potato 🤣 cool i can have bigger fries then. Also the light does not come for free 😂 not everyone can pick up the light and change the position of it. We have tubelights in India and it is fixed at top so you can not move it. Even if you move your laptop position it's not going to help. Nor anyone will feel claustrophobic just by not having head space for the camera frame 😂

I'd say that this is not how to improve Webcam Quality, but rather how to improve presentation.
Put the video footage in any editing software you'll see the quality difference.

My laptop webcam is 780p, is it wise to get a 780p external webcam too? Is it going to give the same quality?
