Hey everyone! Thanks for your support on this video! WIll post updates/corrections here if anything changes in the short-term. On 3:42 about Weapon Groups, I forgot to mention that in Spacebourne 2, you cannot mix weapons in the same Weapon Group. This is different than most space/vehicle games. All weapons on the same group must be of the same type, so you can't have a Burst, Pulse and Railgun in Group 1 for example. To fully mix guns, use Group 1 for a weapon type (e.g. Beams, anti-shield), Group 2 for the other weapon type (e.g. Gatlings, anti-hull) and use the Weapon Burst perk to fire them all at the same time.
Hey, thank YOU for taking the time after what seems to have been a hectic week of bug fixing and hard work to watch and comment on this video, DBK! I hope you have a great time developing the game. A lot of people are cheering you on. Have a good one!
good job man, you singlehandedly achieved what star citizen (and million of dollars) still cannot.. also this is a similar concept to starfield and you made it alone. kudos!
The best moneymaker I've found is the village clearing missions. look for mercenary missions with 0 reward and 0 EXP, where you can salvage anything you find in the liberated town. Come with an EMPTY inventory because each town usually has 24 + homes and a main stash building, where you can loot high-level weapons, ship guns, and components. Usually, the 50-55 items you can loot from 1 village will sell for 1 - 6 million credits, depending on your mission level.
Forgot about Black Ops Ships Speed. They are great to move system to system, without using gates. They will probably add something to do with gates being closed once you go to war against a faction. As for now, it's a good way to move expensive stuff, without being scanned and attacked by NPC. Also there are the best CQC ships for their speed.
Amazing video! I have some more tipps that helped me a lot. You can search for systems by name in the top left corner of your system map. Saved me a lot of time. Also the skill where you can place mines makes hard ground missions that much easier. The enemies just run at you like mad men and a well prepared minefield can catch them by surprise. When raising a village you can kick in doors of houses after the fact. You will miss out on A LOT of loot when not doing that.
Didn't know about Wingmen. That could be a lifesaver, thanks. One thing I missed was that you add a consumable item 1 at a time. I bought 5 pods, thought it would add all 5 when I assigned it but didn't realise you had to do it 5 times.
I just picked up the game on Steam yesterday and I'm really impressed by it. I played for about 3 hours before heading off to bed and I have to say, the developer is doing a pretty decent job with it. Also, just subbed to your channel. Very informative video. Thankyou.

I may just buy this now. I wanted to support the single developer and his amazing work, but was worried about the depth. Most videos out there just show off the tutorial.
Just bought it and just played the tutorial, so this is appreciated! It seems like finally a possibly great space game. It also seems to run like a dream for how it looks etc, imo(GTX 1660 super 6gb), but I will certainly change it to limit fps manually now. Short q, if someone would: Is there something like morale and does it have any implications on the gameplay(there is a slave trader class..)? Can I be a faction and rule or liberate the universe(currently or planned as far as you know)? I played sandbox before, so no need to go into detail that far :)
Thanks for watching and for the nice comment! The features you mention are indeed planned. There already is a faction/soldier "alignment", you can be more Chaotic or more Orderly (evil vs. good), but ultimately the player's journey and goal is to help save mankind from the oppression they suffer from the aliens. So you can be really violent against them, or be more peaceful, and so on. Things like "Hope" and "Fame" is already tracked too. It gets implied in the game that this will have some impact in the future, but there's no released plans on how/what things will be. A lot of cool things can be done with this kind of feature, so I'm looking forward to it too!
thx for this ! Any tips regarding why ships that seems the same, goes from 300K to 3M ? or why shoul i pick a 2 guns fighters vs one with 4 ? i get on a high lvl system, and ship there were at 7M but i didnt notice any difference, except maybe some % on overall .
Hello! Ships have different Levels, Tiers and Starting Equipment. Their cost scale up depending on that. Other parameters may affect cost (like which Perks a ship has), but unsure about that at the moment. Currently, there are ships that focus on Critical Hits (Black Ops class) vs. Raw Damage (Fighters), so I guess it depends on what feels better to you. In my experience, the most guns the better, but anything over 6 (and most 8) gets high Efficiency penalties. More module slots are often a better investment (e.g. having a Offensive and a Aim module for extra Damage and Criticals). Many values are still a bit questionable due to the Early Access version. Some good ships were reportedly way too cheap, but others were too expensive, so that's what you may have bumped into :)
Thanks for your videos, brother! They helped a lot! BTW, I know it is a stupid question, but, as you seem to be deep dived in the game, I think won´t have any problem for you to answer: Is it possible to go very far in the game using only ships of the same model of the starter ship (think its name is Maradur), with higher tiers? I just love its "industrial junky" design so much that I want to keep flying it. Thanks again!
Hello! I haven't tried this, but I believe you can. Since you can modify ships, you could add 2 more turret slots and it _should_ perform like the other Fighters. I don't know how its stats compare to other Fighters though. At worse it could make the game a little harder and battles slower, but it should work! :)
I want to love this game but the HOSAS/HOTAS support is lacking. You can't bind HAT switch to perform functions like the dodging and if you use a keyboard the sticks get ignored even if you select the Auto option. I purchased it on sale a few days ago so I'm in a waiting game. I'm not going to waste time playing a space ship game on a keyboard while surrounded by controllers for the very purpose of playing space ship games.
I am level 23/24/15 and played 102 hours. The main story quest: Starting a revolution, is not popping up. Level 3 Freelancer level 2 Merc Level 2 bounty Level 1 Brote and explore level 2 mining. Any advice ?
Hey there, have you managed to fix this? Some players reported that after playing for too many hours, sometimes the main quest can break or vanish from the questlog. It's a bug that still needs investigation and fixing. Overall, the game's Discord is the best place to report bugs and ask for help from players, and Steam forums is good too.
@@GabeuxGaming in deed I did, I started a new game and played the main quest for awhile. Than I went back to the starter city with the old game and the quest restarted again. I just was a bit stuck on the target shooting and needed to equip the original weapons from the beginning. Nice feeling After 120 hours to play the main quest.
Sounds like it might need a rebalance! Mining seems pretty WIP, since the Mining Guild doesn't have missions and so on, so would expect things to be revised eventually. I know that a lot of space sim folks really like mining, so I hope it doesn't take too long for mining to be fun and rewarding here. I like the "mining minigame" and how the dev went a bunch of extra steps to make mining unique, so it should get some love in the future. Thanks for watching!

This game is utterly unplayable. It has game breaking bugs and crashes constantly. Their English language port is embarrassingly bad on or exceeding the level of " all your base are belong to us" and the person in charge of writing the text has barely a rudimentary understanding of English grammar syntaxes spelling and content. So dissappointed at all these reviews that gloss this over and show such highly edited footage that hides its broken framework.
You must think this is a fully released game, made by a major studio. This isn't the case. Its still in Alpha, and the voiceovers are AI bots (so that voice talent isnt required.) This helps keep the game client small, and makes changes to voice work easy to deploy. The game has good combat, although ground combat is probably too easy at present. But don't go thinking this is "unplayable" just because occaisionally you have to reload a save.
