- This video is about how to replace front brake pad and rotor on (2004-2010) BMW 5 series e60
( 525, 528, 530, 535, 545 ).
If your BMW e60 not stopping like it used to, making a squealing noise or vibrate when you stop, you need to replace brake pad and rotor. Even modern safety technology like ABS (anti lock brakes) and traction control are useless if a disc brake pad is worn out or disc brake rotor is badly warped. Your brake system has to be in top shape to keep you safe on the road.

How long did this take you to do for one corner Mike (or how long for all 4 wheels)?
Front pads and discs about 1-1.5 hours and the same for the rear brakes. It all depends on what condition the car is in. Sometimes there may be less time.
This works the same on a 550i?
@@DakotaWoods-pu4bz yes, the same
